NEW UNDERCOVER VIDEO CATCHES OBAMACARE ‘NAVIGATORS’ ADVISING POTENTIAL APPLICANT TO ‘LIE’

A new video produced by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas seemingly shows Obamacare “navigators” in Dallas, Texas, advising a man to provide false information on his application to get more subsidies and a lower premium.

Secretly video recording the exchange, a Project Veritas “investigator” tells Obamacare navigators at the National Urban League’s offices in Dallas that he never reports his outside income when filing his taxes, which is likely untrue. The navigators then advise him not to get himself in “trouble” by reporting the income to the IRS now.

“You’re supposed to file a percentage of it,” the navigator, identified as “Mrs. Dorothy,” says in the video. “Don’t get yourself in trouble by declaring it now.”

TPN—Judson Phillips: Defy, disobey

As Obamacare becomes the law of the land, thanks to the gutless Republicans who lack the courage to try to do anything to stop the single worst law the Congress has passed in the last 100 years, Americans are facing a choice.

Do they participate in Obamacare, opt out if they can or do they simply defy the government.

Civil disobedience has a long and honorable tradition here in America and it is now time for some serious civil disobedience when it comes to Obamacare.

Why?

The Department of Health and Human Services is hiring “Navigators” to help people sign up for Obamacare.  To speed the train wreck along, the Obama Regime is eliminating the requirements for fingerprinting these “Navigators,” or for that matter even having a background check.

What are these “Navigators” going to do?  Well, they are supposed to assist people in applying for Obamacare, right?  Anyone remember which agency is in charge of Obamacare?

That’s right, it is the IRS.

In order to enroll in Obamacare, what information has to be provided to these “Navigators?”

How about your tax returns and social security numbers?

If the red alert alarms are not going off now, they should be.

The Obama Regime wants to entrust the most sensitive information we Americans have to people who are not even vetted.  Of course, don’t forget, the Obama Regime has been trying to make it illegal for companies to run criminal background checks on employees before hiring them, so this should come as no great shock.

The potential damage here is mindboggling.

Obamacare Gives Planned Parenthood Clinics $655,192 to Serve as ‘Navigators’

Planned Parenthood is getting an extra infusion of taxpayer money this year, as some of its affiliated clinics are tapped to serve as “Navigators” for Obamacare.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced on Thursday that it is giving grants totaling $655,192 to Planned Parenthood clinics in Iowa, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Montana and New Hampshire.
Those clinics are among the 105 organizations that applied for “Navigator” grants to help people sign up for health insurance. HHS is spending a total of $67 million overall on the sign-up effort.

According to HHS, “Navigators are trained to provide unbiased information in a culturally competent manner to consumers about health insurance, the new Health Insurance Marketplaces, qualified health plans, and public programs including Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.”

States raise privacy concerns over health law navigators (video) - The Hill's Healthwatch

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi argued late Friday that new hires under ObamaCare could threaten the private information of people trying to get health insurance.

Bondi said that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is making it easier for someone to be hired as a so-called navigator, cutting back on background checks and eliminating a fingerprinting requirement, which could make it easier for a person’s private information to fall into the wrong hands.
“Because of time constraints, HHS [is] cutting back on the requirement to become a navigator, meaning they're not going to be doing background checks. They're not going to be fingerprinting these people,” said Bondi in an interview with Fox.

“And it's more than navigators. It's people that assist the navigators. Now, these navigators will have our consumers throughout the country's most personal and private information — tax return information, Social Security information. And our biggest fear, of course, is identity theft.”
A navigator is a federal employee who helps those wanting to get insured navigate the paperwork of the new healthcare system.
