PERVERTED: Planned Parenthood Cell Phone App to 12yr. Olds, “Having Sex Feels Good”

Des Moines, IA – When the truth came out, Planned Parenthood had to abandon their controversial Teenwire.com website pushing teenagers to pursue anal sex, “fingering,” multiple partners, and the use of sex toys and pornography.

But don’t think that offensive content or Planned Parenthood’s mission to sexualize your children has gone away.  Now it’s going direct to their cell phones. Planned Parenthood has been pushing free “Apps for Teens” that they can read on their cell phones. The apps feature quizzes and games with seductive topics like, “What’s Your Love Personality?”

Sounds harmeless so far, right?  Good, clean fun.  We decided to take the quiz and see.

Obamacare Gives Planned Parenthood Clinics $655,192 to Serve as ‘Navigators’

Planned Parenthood is getting an extra infusion of taxpayer money this year, as some of its affiliated clinics are tapped to serve as “Navigators” for Obamacare.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced on Thursday that it is giving grants totaling $655,192 to Planned Parenthood clinics in Iowa, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Montana and New Hampshire.

Those clinics are among the 105 organizations that applied for “Navigator” grants to help people sign up for health insurance. HHS is spending a total of $67 million overall on the sign-up effort.

According to HHS, “Navigators are trained to provide unbiased information in a culturally competent manner to consumers about health insurance, the new Health Insurance Marketplaces, qualified health plans, and public programs including Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.”

So, according to Planned Parenthood, abortion is a constitutionally guaranteed right.

But the question still remains: WHY does no woman make the decision to have an abortion “lightly” if it isn’t something far more than Planned Parenthood asserts?

Why does Planned Parenthood offer plenty of sex ed and condoms, but no ultrasounds that might very well inform women of a human life in the womb?

The truth is, all women have the right to choose–but that choice comes when faced with the option of having sex outside of a relationship, such as marriage. The choice is a decision for moral and disciplined behavior, a decision which will ultimately display self-respect and self-worth.

Alexis McGill Johnson may say “no one is pro-abortion”, but she and Planned Parenthood fight for abortion rights day-in and day-out. Sure sounds pro-abortion: no one fights for years and years for a “right” that they are not “pro.”


All of the Planned Parenthood rhetoric advocates to keep abortion legal at any and all stages of pregnancy. Planned Parenthood claims concern for women, and yet promotes sexual activity, distributes contraceptives, then destroys the babies that may result from the natural consequence of unrestrained sexual activity.

The Anguish Of Abortion: What They Won’t Tell You--Last week, graphic autopsy images were released of a woman dying from a legal abortion. Her mother insisted the photos be made public. The story broke my heart. As 18-year-old Marla Cardamone lay in her casket prior to viewing, the funeral director suggested to Marla’s mother, Deborah, they close the casket so people would not see Marla’s disfigured face. Deborah Caramone told him to leave the casket open. She hopes to expose the lies of the abortion industry and wants people to understand that abortions are not always ‘safe and legal’. In order to do this,she bravely chose to show her daughter’s bruised and swollen face, caused by abortion-related complications. Marla died at a Pennsylvania hospital, and Deborah Cardamone vowed her daughter would not be forgotten.

Obama Hires Planned Parenthood Official to Run Campaign in NC

President Barack Obama has worked closely with Planned Parenthood to promote abortion since his election in 2008 and that relationship grew closer as he has hired a former abortion business official to run his campaign in North Carolina.

The Obama campaign hired Lindsay Siler, the former director of public policy for Planned Parenthood Health Systems, to head its efforts in North Carolina, one of the pivotal battleground states Obama took from the Republican column in 2008 to pave his way to the White House.

In 2007, Siler worked for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, Obama’s former Democratic rival turned Secretary of State, and now she is excited to help perhaps the most pro-abortion president since Roe v. Wade get another four years to force Americans to fund abortions and the Planned Parenthood abortion business domestically and abroad with taxpayer dollars.

“They were truly building a collective voice, the grass-roots organization we’ve all dreamt about,” she told the Charlotte Observer about what she saw in the Obama campaign in 2008 so, when asked to head up the North Carolina shop this time, she added, “there was no way I was going to pass that up.”

Obama Defends Planned Parenthood Funding at Pro-Abortion Dinner

President Barack Obama and his administration have close relationships with leading pro-abortion organizations, so it is no surprise that he defended taxpayer funding of the Planned Parenthood abortion business during a speech at a pro-abortion group’s dinner banquet Wednesday night.


Obama addressed more than 2,000 activists at the National Women’s Law Center Annual Awards Dinner, where he bashed congressional Republicans for their efforts to deny federal funding to the Planned Parenthood abortion business, which does more abortions than any other organization in the United States:

“Instead of figuring out how to put more Americans back to work, they’ve been trying to figure out how to take away preventive care that is covered under the Affordable Care Act.

Instead of making life easier for women in this country, they want to let insurance companies go back to charging higher prices just because you’re a woman.

Instead of working to boost our economy, they’re out there spending time trying to defund Planned Parenthood and prevent millions of women from getting basic health care that they desperately need — pap smears and breast exams.”

CONGRESS STRIKES A BUDGET DEAL TO AVERT SHOWDOWN, CUTTING $38.5B

Congressional leaders, with barely an hour to go before a federal government, announced late Friday night they had reached a deal to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year.


The deal includes $38.5 billion in spending cuts while leaving the more contentious policy matters, such as blocking funding for Planned Parenthood, for a later debate.

It's time for a tea-party insurrection

Wednesday evening, word began to leak out that John Boehner was going to make a deal with the Democrats. Instead of the $100 billion that the GOP had promised in cuts, there would only be around $33 billion in cuts, and the riders that would defund Obamacare, Planned Parenthood and NPR would be dealt with separately. In other words, they would be put in bills that have no chance of ever becoming law.

The time-honored Republican tradition of surrender is in full swing in Washington today.

The problem is, the American people and the tea-party movement did not send Republicans to Washington to surrender. We sent them to cut the budget.

In a couple of weeks, the government will hit the debt ceiling. In other words, the government will have borrowed all of the money it is allowed to borrow. It must either get authorization to borrow more money or stop spending.

John Boehner has demonstrated that he has no stomach for a fight and no commitment to stopping the insane spending that is sending this country into insolvency.

Two years ago, the tea-party movement arose with a simple message. We will not sit back quietly while the extreme liberal fringe spends this country into bankruptcy and poverty.

The Republicans talked a good game during the election season. Even after the election season, Boehner has talked about the need to cut spending. Wednesday, on his website, his staff posted an article about how high deficits and debt kills jobs. John, if you believe this, why aren't you cutting spending?

Besides the time-honored Republican tradition of surrender, another Republican tradition is also going on. Republicans come home and talk a great conservative game, and then when they get back to Washington, they forget their beliefs and fold to the Democrats.

No more.  It is time, again, for a tea-party insurrection.

We have two issues to fight. First is this budget. Reducing spending by $33 billion in the face of a $1.65 trillion deficit is not a cut; it is a joke.

We need to stop this budget and refuse to let the GOP off the hook unless there is a complete defunding of Obamacare, Planned Parenthood and NPR. The GOP ran on defunding Obamacare. For better or worse, we believed them. Now it is time for them to honor their promises to us.

The events of the last few days have made it painfully obvious that the GOP leadership is not serious about dealing with the out-of-control spending in Washington.

If they will not be serious about it, we must make them serious. We must use every tool at our disposal, calls, emails, tweets, faxes and personal visits to tell the Republicans not to raise the debt ceiling.

The Republicans in Congress have the budgetary "nuclear" option at their disposal! Let them know you expect them to use it by sending a message to all 241 GOP House members via the "No More Red Ink" campaign

When Washington hits the debt ceiling in a few days, our national debt will be 100 percent of our gross domestic product. In plain, non-lawyer English, this means that to pay off our national debt, it would take every cent of wealth America generates in 2011. There is a term for this; it is called insolvency.

The debt ceiling has been raised a number of times in the last 10 years. Each time, we are promised that fiscal discipline is right around the corner. The only thing that ends up being around the corner is yet another need to raise the debt ceiling.

Debt at 100 percent of GDP is something of a psychological marker. If we are not going to stop spending now, when will we?

Stopping the spending is actually simple. All we need are 218 House votes not to raise the debt ceiling, and Congress will have to balance the budget.

Will there be negative consequences if we do not raise the debt ceiling? Possibly. But what will be worse? Problems now or problems when the national debt is $28 trillion and we really are insolvent. Any problems we would have now pale in comparison to a national economic collapse.


It is time for the tea party to stand up and tell Congress, "No!" Do not spend any more money. Cut the spending, and under no circumstances raise the debt ceiling. Call, fax, email, tweet and visit your congressman's office, and tell them this.

At Tea Party Nation, one of our favorite sayings is: It is not enough to simply to replace bad leadership. We must put good leadership in its place. When we kicked Nancy Pelosi out of the speaker's chair, we replaced bad leadership. So far, we cannot say that we have put good leadership in its place.

We have a simple message to the GOP leadership. Cut the budget, do what you promised, and do not raise the debt ceiling. Do the right thing now, or we will do the right thing next year at the ballot box.

Today, there will be a vote on a continuing resolution in the House that will keep the government running for another three weeks. They seem excited they are cutting an amazing $6 billion from the budget. $6 billion out of a budget that has a $1.5 trillion dollar deficit. Oh, that’s brave.


Representatives Michele Bachmann, Steve King, along with Tea Party Nation and other groups have drawn a line in the sand. We will not support any continuing resolution that does not defund the $105 billion slipped in for Obamacare and that does not defund Planned Parenthood.

Jim Jordan, a Representative from Ohio, who is a member of the Republican Study Committee called it right when he said, “With the federal government facing record deficits and a mammoth debt hanging over our economy and our future, we must do more than cut spending in bite-sized pieces,”

The party line being parroted by some of the drive by media is that the GOP leadership is being forced to fight the Tea Party movement to avoid being painted as “extremists” by the Democrats and the Obama regime.

Wait, I thought being called extremist by the Democrats was to be expected for anyone whose politics is anywhere to the right of Karl Marx.

The country is being driven off the economic cliff and the GOP leadership is worried about being called bad names?

Obama, Pelosi and Reid have been driving the nation, at full speed, towards an economic disaster. Stopping this is “extreme?”

It has been two weeks since the General Accounting Office came out with a report showing that by eliminating duplicate agencies and ineffective agencies, the government could save hundreds of billions of dollars.

Where is Boehner and the GOP leadership on this one? This is one they should be out in front on. The GOP leadership should have already introduced legislation to start eliminating these programs. Between those cuts and eliminating the $105 billion for Obamacare and defunding Planned Parenthood, we would be talking about some serious and significant budget reductions.

Unfortunately, as we at Tea Party Nation have pointed out before, the House leadership does not seem serious about cutting the budget. There is an old political joke that has been repeated numerous times on Tea Party Nation. With Democrats you get more of the same. With Republicans, you get less of the same. We are getting less of the same with Speaker Boehner.

This continuing resolution will most likely pass. Fortunately it is only a three-week resolution. We need to stop the next one. The next continuing resolution is where the Tea Party movement needs to make its stand. Either we see hundreds of billions in cuts or we shut the government down. It has come to that.

Speaker Boehner has forgotten how and why he is in the Speaker’s chair. It is up to the conservatives in the House to send him a message and help save American from an economic meltdown.

House of Representatives

Republicans attempted to trim the $1.2 trillion 2011 budget bill. At 4:40 a.m. on Saturday February 19, 2011 the House passed a Full Year Continuing Appropriations Act for 2011. The current Continuing Resolution expires on March 4th. The vote was 235 to 189 with 9 not voting. The actual amount that House Republicans cut ranges between $60 and $100 billion according to various sources. Senate Democrats are opposed to the House version and have said that Republicans want a "government shutdown," and President Obama has threatened to veto the bill. For NC Representatives, the vote was along party lines except that Republican Rep Jones (R-3) voted with the Democrats who voted against the budget cuts and continued funding of the government through the current fiscal year that ends on September 30, 2011.

Leading up to the Continuing Appropriations Act, over 100 amendments were debated and voted on. Speaker John Boehner made good on his promise to hear all amendments from the House of Representatives, in contrast to former Speaker Pelosi's leadership. Concerning Boehner's amendment proceedings, Pelosi said, the chamber is "driving itself to irrelevance with the amendment process here."

The most noteworthy amendments are the following:

Rep Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) proposed an amendment from the Republican Study Committee to cut $22 billion more from the bill by reducing the Legislative Branch Appropriations funding by 11 percent, and cutting other non-security funding by 5.5 percent, except for aid to Israel. On Feb 18, 92 Republicans including Rep Eric Cantor, House Majority Leader; and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy joined all of the Democrats to defeat the amendment in a vote of 147 to 281 with 5 not voting. Therefore the pledge that $100 billion would be cut from the 2011 budget was not achieved, wrote Erick Erickson, Redstate.com, saying that Rep Cantor exhibited "a failure of leadership."

All NC Republican Representatives except Walter B. Jones, Jr. (R-3rd) voted for the amendment. All NC Democrat Representatives voted against it.

Four healthcare amendments met with considerable comment. (1) One amendment that passed 239 to 187 with 7 not voting was from Rep Rehberg (R-MT) that "would deny funding for the law from the Labor-HHS [Health and Human Services] Appropriations bill." Rehberg said, "It will create a firewall so that funds from this bill cannot be for that purpose."

All NC Republican Representatives voted for the amendment along with Mike McIntyre (D-7th). All other NC Democrat Representatives voted against it.

(2) Another healthcare amendment passed 246 - 182 with 5 not voting, was offered by Rep Emerson (R-MO) that would "deny funds to allow the Internal Revenue Service to enforce the individual mandate to purchase health insurance in the health care law."

NC Representatives voting for the amendment: Renee Ellmers (R-2nd), Walter B. Jones, Jr (R-3rd), Virginia Foxx (R-5th), Howard Coble (R-6th), Mike McIntyre (D-7th), Sue Myrick (R-9th), Patrick T. McHenry (R-10th), and Heath Shuler (D-11th).

NC Representatives voting against the amendment: G.K. Butterfield (D-1st), David E. Price (D-4th), Larry Kissell (D-8th), Melvin L. Watt (D-12th), and Brad Miller (D-13th).

(3) The House also passed two amendments "to defund the health care law in other parts of the budget," proposed by Rep King (R-Iowa). In both votes (No. 267 & 268) All NC Republican Representatives voted for the amendments, along with Democrat Mike McIntyre (D-7th). All other NC Democrat Representatives voted against them.

Rep Pence (R-IN) proposed eliminating over $75 million a year for Planned Parenthood. Although the Hyde Amendment bans the use of tax money on abortions, Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the U.S., according to Rep Pence. The amendment passed 240-185 with 1 voting present, and 7 not voting. In an interview with an NBC affilliate in Richmond, VA President Obama was asked to respond to the vote to defund Planned Parenthood amid allegations against them for "sex trafficking of minors, secret abortions for minors, and giving 'pimp' discounts." President Obama said, "sometimes these issues get manufactured." (From RedState.com)

NC Representatives voting against taxpayer abortions: Renee Ellmers (R-2nd), Walter B. Jones, Jr(R-3rd), Virginia Foxx (R-5th), Howard Coble (R-6th), Mike McIntyre (D-7th), Sue Myrick (R-9th), Patrick T. Mc Henry (R-10th), and Heath Shuler (D-11th).

NC Representatives voting for taxpayer abortion: G.K. Butterfield (D-1st), David E. Price (D-4th), Larry Kissell (D-8th), Melvin L. Watt (D-12th), and Brad Miller (D-13th).

On Feb 18 the House passed an amendment that "would bar the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from using any funding to implement the network-neutrality order it approved in December." The vote was 244 to 181 with 8 not voting, and proposed by Rep Walden (R-OR). "If left unchallenged, this claim of authority would allow the FCC to regulate any matter it discussed in the national broadband plan," Walden stated. The FCC under their own "network-neutrality order" could influence the type of programming that airs over public airways, including conservative talk radio. NC Representatives voted along party lines with Republicans voting for the amendment and Democrats voting against it.

On Feb 19 the House voted to "slow implementation of E15 [a fuel blend containing ethanol]. The vote passed 285 to 136 with 12 not voting. Rep Sullivan (R-OK) offered the amendment that "prevents the U.S. EPA from spending any federal funds on E15" he said. The slow down gives Congress the time to study ethanol further.

NC Representatives voting for the amendment: Renee Ellmers (R-2nd), Virginia Foxx (R-5th), Howard Coble (R-6th), Mike McIntyre (D-7th), Larry Kissell (D-8th), Sue Myrick (R-9th), Patrick T. Mc Henry (R-10th), Heath Shuler (D-11th) and Brad Miller (D-13th).

NC Representatives voting against it: G.K. Butterfield (D-1st), Walter B. Jones Jr. (R-3rd), David E. Price (D-4th), and Melvin L. Watt (D-12th).

Rep Scalise (R-LA) proposed an amendment that would "strip funding for a select list of the so-called czars" that are among President Obama's Czar staff. Positions identified in the bill are: Director, White House Office of Health Reform; Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change; Special Envoy for Climate Change; Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovations, and Council on Environmental Quality; Senior Advisor for Green Jobs; Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury assigned to the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry and Senior Counselor for Manufacturing Policy; White House Director of Urban Affairs; Special Envoy to Oversee the Closure of the Detention Center at Guantanamo Bay; Special Master for TARP Executive Compensation, Department of the Treasury; and Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer, Federal Communications Commission. The vote was 249 to 179 with 1 voting present, and 4 not voting.

NC Representatives voting for the amendment: Renee Ellmers (R-2nd), Walter B. Jones, Jr (R-3rd), Virginia Foxx (R-5th), Howard Coble (R-6th), Mike McIntyre (D-7th), Larry Kissell (D-8th), Sue Myrick (R-9th), Patrick T. Mc Henry (R-10th), and Heath Shuler (D-11th).

NC Representative Walter B. Jones, Jr (R-3rd) proposed Amendment No. 95 that would have reduced "by $400 million the amount made available to the Afghanistan Infrastructure Fund;" and "increase by $400 million the amount made available to the Defense Spending Reduction Account" that is "designated as savings." The amendment failed in a vote of 135 to 294 with 4 not voting.

NC Representatives voting for the amendment: Walter B. Jones, Jr (R-3rd), Howard Coble (R-6th), Larry Kissell (D-8th), and Heath Shuler (D11th).

All other NC Representatives voted against the amendment.

Senate

The Senate passed the FISA Sunsets Extension Act of 2011. Both Senators Burr and Hagan voted to pass the bill that extends some "expiring provisions of the Patriot Act for 90 days." (MegaVote)

Both Senators Burr and Hagan also voted to approve the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act that reauthorizes $34.6 billion for two years. The House is working on its own version that would cover four years.

North Carolina Governor and the General Assembly

Balanced Budget Act of 2011

On Feb 10 the NC Legislature ratified the Balanced Budget Act of 2011 (Senate Bill #13). Governor Perdue vetoed the bill on Feb 22 which would have given ". . . her the authority she requested to cut $400 million in the current fiscal year and target another $400 million in immediate savings to help tackle next year's budget," according to Senator Phil Berger. Berger also stated, "Gov. Perdue's veto makes it more difficult to balance the state's budget without cutting teachers' jobs and negatively impacting our classrooms. And while her solution is to raise taxes that destroy private sector jobs, Senate Republicans refuse to reach further into North Carolinians' pockets."

The problem for Gov. Perdue may be that that the bill "diverts funds from business incentive programs Perdue supports, including Golden LEAF ($67.5 million), the Tobacco Trust Fund; the One North Carolina Fund, and Job Development Investment Grants," according to the Carolina Journal Online.

However, Gov. Perdue's veto may be overturned if three-fifths of the General Assembly votes to do so, according to Bloomberg News. House Speaker Tillis has said that about $10-$20 million is in dispute in a bill that will save tens of millions for NC.

House Bill 2 " Protect Health Care Freedom"

The bill passed in both the House and the Senate and was sent back to the House for a minor change approval before it is sent to the governor. The bill addresses Obamacare provisions requiring that citizens purchase health insurance indicating that a person should not be compelled to purchase health care services from an insurance provider. It also states that the NC Attorney General has the duty to represent its citizens in enforcing the NC law. Therefore, NC should join with other states in law suits against Obamacare. Gov. Perdue told the Charlotte Observer recently she would not veto the bill, but she does not intend to sign it either, saying 'it's not worth a battle,'" (Carolina Journal Online)

Governor Perdue's Budget

Governor Perdue presented her $19.9 billion budget proposal last week. She says there is a $2.4 billion budget deficit for NC. Her budget centers on extending a 1 cent temporary sales tax increase that was scheduled to expire; cutting the corporate tax rate to 4.9 percent, from 6.9; protecting education funding for teachers and teaching assistants; transferring funding from janitors and technology to the counties; eliminating 10,000 state government jobs (currently only 3000 are filled), and closing some state parks and welcome centers.

The legislators in Raleigh will review her budget and make their own proposals, but Perdue has veto power over the budget. Perdue has recently said, "I don't know how to spell tax increase," but that changed with her budget. Republican legislators have vowed to end the "temporary" tax that the governor wants to extend. On transferring funding liabilities to the counties, Republicans said the counties would have to either "raise taxes or cut services," according to the Greensboro News & Record.

It's Not Over, The Fight is Just Beginning


Dear Conservative Friend,

Like you, I am energized and excited about last night's election victories.

But what we also know to be true is that last night’s victories at the ballot box are meaningless if they don't translate into real legislative victories that change the course of this nation.

My name is Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List, a national pro-life group, and I am asking you to join me in our effort to stop all federal funding of abortion in the next Congress.

We need to send a clear message to the 112th Congress that eliminating taxpayer funding of abortion is a top priority. 2. The “Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act” introduced by Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) will ensure that our tax dollars don’t go to organizations that perform abortion, like Planned Parenthood, through Title X family planning grants.

United Nations Population Fund—The U.N. Agency that works with pro-abortion groups to promote abortion overseas, and even supports China’s one-child policy, received $50 Million in taxpayer dollars in 2009 alone when President Obama rescinded the Mexico City Policy.

Life Chain + 40 Days For Life


Special Report - September 21, 2010

In October, two special events will take place to bring attention to the scourge of abortion on America—the Life Chain and 40 Days for Life. Both are peaceful and prayerful public witnesses of pro-life individuals praying and working for an end to abortion.

The 23rd annual Life Chain will be held on October 3. For 90 minutes, pro-life Americans and Canadians will stand 25 to 30 feet apart along sidewalks across the continent in “a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death.” Participants are encouraged to spend the time in prayer for the nation and those affected by abortion. Many will hold signs with reminders like “Abortion Kills Children,” “Adoption – the Loving Option,” “Jesus Forgives and Heals,” “Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” “Life – the First Inalienable Right,” and “Pray to End Abortion.” Life Chains have been organized in more than 40 cities across North Carolina. National Life Chain organizers emphasize “the LIFE CHAIN is church oriented and pastor focused and that the key to a successful Chain is for local pastors to educate their congregations about abortion and then lead them to the sidewalk where their Chain is to held. Without firm pastor support, a Life Chain will not fulfill its potential for saving lives and changing hearts.”

Starting on September 22 and running through October 31, Christians in 238 locations across the world will witness through prayer outside abortion clinics to serve women who find themselves seeking an abortion. The 40 Days for Life campaign is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion in America.

The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion in America.
