Rigging the Future: Obamacare Creates 50 New State Databases With No Function Beyond Gathering Potential Voter Information, Real or Fraudulent

Since the passage of Obamacare, all fifty state Medicaid agencies have been forced to create a new standalone database that contains nothing besides the contact information of Medicaid applicants who used Healthcare.gov. 

Some of these new databases mail out voter registration forms automatically. You cannot refuse them.

No worthwhile verification occurs before the forms are mailed. Apply for Medicaid and the form will be mailed to you, be you a verifiable citizen or Ayman al-Zawahiri on a computer in Pakistan.

Further, these new databases are accessible by groups like Organizing for Action, the reconstituted ACORN, and malevolent figures like Chris Tarango.

And no reasonable purpose exists for creating the databases besides making them available to the aforementioned Democratic activists.

Heard nothing regarding this before? Not only are you not alone, several state secretaries of State we contacted had no clue any of this was occurring under their watch. One source involved in the recently initiated legal battle to expose and dismantle the databases described the situation as follows:

Evil genius.

A complete disregard for certain federal law, the skirting of others, the exploitation of existing Medicaid structures, the issuing of rules and regulations with virtually none of the required paper trail. …

Just evil genius. They friggin’ thought of everything.

The remainder of this article is composed of descriptions of the several decisions made by Obamacare authors that led to the construction of the databases. The listing of these decisions is intended to illustrate the impossibility that these databases were created unintentionally, or due to incompetence — a “fumble.”

Obamavote: Healthcare application registers voters, too

The 61-page online Obamacare draft application for health care includes asking if the applicant wants to register to vote, raising the specter that pro-Obama groups being tapped to help Americans sign up for the program will also steer them to register with the Democratic Party.


On page 59, after numerous questions about the applicant's identity and qualification for Obamacare, comes the question: "Would you like to register to vote?" The placement of the question could lead some to believe they have to register to vote to get health care.

In the introduction of the document, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services declare: "This document-the 'questionnaire'-represents each possible item that may need to be asked for successful eligibility determinations."   In a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Monday, Rep. Charles Boustany Jr., chair of the House Ways and Means Oversight subcommittee, said HHS is overstepping its bounds by a mile.

"The draft documents wander into areas outside the department's purview and links applications for health insurance subsidies to voter registration," he wrote in the letter provided to Secrets. "The position of the question could lead some to think voter registration is somehow tied to subsidy eligibility," he added.

Boustany, a Louisiana Republican, said the application raises two alarming issues: What does HHS plan to do with all the information it collects on each applicant and will pro-Obama groups like AARP and Families USA that might be tapped as "navigators" to sign people up to Obamacare, steer them to register as Democrats. Others have indicated that groups like Planned Parenthood and ACORN could also act as a navigator.

In his letter, Boustany demands from HHS guidance for the navigator program, especially whether they will be encouraged to ask applicants about their voting status. He set an April 8 deadline for HHS' response.

He added that the Affordable Care Act does not let HHS probe into an applicant's choice to vote. CAMPAIGN SOLICITS FOREIGNERS TO REGISTER TO VOTE

The Washington, D.C.-based Voter Participation Center is using large mailing lists from commercial and nonprofit organizations to send voter registration forms to people they believe have been underrepresented in the political process.

The VPC’s website openly says its focus is on minority women and the unmarried.

“The mission of the VPC is to boost the civic engagement of unmarried women, people of color and 18-29 year olds – the three demographic groups who comprise the Rising American Electorate,” the VPC says.

“These Americans make up 53 percent of the voting-eligible population and are responsible for almost all of the U.S. population growth in recent years, but were only 42 percent of the 2010 electorate and 47 percent in 2008,” the organization explains.

However, noncitizens are also receiving the forms, which worries legal analysts and voter groups like Grassfire Nation that are campaigning for voter ID laws.

AG Holder: Government Has ‘Responsibility’ to Automatically Register Citizens to Vote

"All eligible citizens can and should be automatically registered to vote," and it's the government's "responsibility" to see that it happens, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday.


In a call to modernize voter registration, Holder noted that many elections officials still are manually processing new applications, many of them handwritten -- a situation that produces errors and confusion at the polls, he said.

"Fortunately, modern technology provides a straightforward fix for these problems," Holder continued. "It should be the government’s responsibility to automatically register citizens to vote, by compiling -- from databases that already exist -- a list of all eligible residents in each jurisdiction."

The lists would be used "solely to administer elections" and "would protect essential privacy rights," Holder told a gathering at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library in Austin, Texas.

Holder also called for "permanent, portable" voter registration that would follow voters to a new polling place when they move. "Until that happens, we should implement fail-safe procedures to correct voter-roll errors and omissions, by allowing every voter to cast a regular, non-provisional ballot on Election Day," Holder said.

Holder insisted that making voter registration easier is "not likely, by itself, to make our elections more susceptible to fraud." Voter fraud will not be tolerated by the Justice Department, he said, adding that "in-person voting fraud is uncommon."

Folks may have thought that ACORN was out of business after federal funding was cut but not so, as the Judicial Watch group recently reported. According to Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, “today ACORN is alive and well, splintered into rebranded local chapters across the country.” As an example, ACORN affiliates in various states are changing their names in a desperate bid to restore federal grants and other revenue sources.

As an example, in New York, ACORN is New York Communities for Change. In Arkansas, ACORN has become Arkansas Community Organizations; in Missouri, ACORN is Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE). In Rhode Island and Connecticut the organization is now New England United for Justice.

The role of ACORN in North Carolina is a little more clouded but during my research I found that before the last general election, the organization registered more than 27,000 new voters in North Carolina, most of them in Durham and Charlotte.

Local election officials found that during their investigation of ACORN’s registration practices some forms it filed had information that may have been copied from phone books. Durham County’s elections office turned over about 120 suspect forms to the state for investigation and Wake County’s elections office sent in about 30 suspicious forms.

Admittedly this is a small number but it represents what they found and it doesn’t answer the question, how many did they review out of 27,000. With the 2012 election ahead of us it would be naïve to think that voter fraud will not play a role in Obama’s favor. When you consider that his attorney general, Eric Holder, refused to prosecute three members of the New Black Panther Party on charges of voter intimidation in Philadelphia during the last general election, voter fraud is not much of a stretch.

Undoubtedly Obama will ride a new wave of popularity with the killing of bin Laden but the prospect of voter fraud should be kept on the front burner. There is too much at stake in 2012 and our nation can’t afford another four years of this Socialist. The future freedom of our children and grandchildren depends on his defeat, and that starts now.
