Did Valerie Jarrett Issue The Order To Stand Down In Benghazi?

There is a somewhat shocking report that I came across today at a website run by Doug Ross. It’s called the Conservative Report. Doug Ross maintains here that Valerie Jarrett gave the orders to stand down in Benghazi. Valerie Jarrett, who constitutionally is not in the chain of command and cannot do that. And that’s why this, if true, is a bombshell. Valerie Jarrett nixed the raid on bin Laden three separate times, remember, and the adults had to come in and basically act on the intel that they had as to where bin Laden was. It was Valerie Jarrett who put off three separate times an attack to either capture or kill bin Laden.

It was Panetta and Hillary and some others, apparently, who just finally overruled her and started the operation. They pulled Obama off the golf course for the photo op-ed, after the event had already begun. But Doug Ross is saying here: “Confidential sources close to Conservative Report have confirmed that Valerie Jarrett was the key decision-maker for the administration, the night of the Benghazi terrorist attack on 9/11/2012. The chronology of the evening of 9/11 are as follows:

“At approximately 5 PM Washington time, reports came in through secure-channels that Special Mission Benghazi was under attack. Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey summoned the President, and briefed him on the crisis, face to face.” And, remember, this is the meeting where Obama is reported to have said to both — well, actually all three, Panetta, Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Hillary. “You guys do what you have to do,” and he vanishes. This is the best intel that we’ve got. And the story for the longest time, “Where was Obama?” Because he was off the grid for the next seven hours. Nobody knew where he was. And, remember, throughout all of this, we’re all asking, “Who issued the order to stand down?” Because that can only come from the top.

With all due respect….

So many times we are left scratching our heads at the course our Country is on. Sometimes it’s inconceivable the words that pour from the mouths of our politicians yet it points the way as to how we got here.

By now most of us have seen the video of Hillary Clinton pounding her fist on the table she sat behind as she spoke. In reference to the terrorist attack in Benghazi she said, "With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or because of guys out on a walk one night who decided they'd go kill Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator."

What difference does it make? Sadly had the request for addition security been met perhaps four dead Americans would be alive. It makes a great deal of difference since the American public was deliberately lied to with the elections coming up.

It manifested itself in an aurora of distrust of our government and showed what little value for human life the Obama administration has.

What difference does it make to the families who lost their loved ones on September 11, 2012? The anguish that those families have has to be fueled knowing that there were units ready to go in to rescue them yet were told to stand-down.

On August 8, l974, two years after the Watergate incident break-in on June l7, l972,

Richard Nixon resigned and left the White House. He was facing an impeachment because of a burglary in which no one died!

It is my belief that Barack Obama should face impeachment for an incident far more serious than Watergate. If he didn’t know about the incident (in real time) it was on his watch. The aftermath of lies to cover up terrorism on American soil, which is what an embassy represents, was orchestrated by his administration with his approval.

What difference does it make? It makes a great deal for it shows that someone needs to pay for this dereliction of duty in which four Americans who were serving our Country, paid the ultimate price. Along with Hillary, Obama needs to resign or be impeached.

The death of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans shines the light of truth on the negligence of the Obama administration. What may be worse than their sheer incompetence is the dishonesty and hype employed to cover up their lies and failures.


Both President Obama and Hillary Clinton attempted to blame the tragedy on a sophomoric video mocking Mohammed. Instead of taking advantage of an opportunity to vigorously tout the strengths of our earned freedom, Obama and company repeated the “apology tour”. When the smoke screen of the video began to look like a losing argument, the administration trotted out UN Ambassador Susan Rice to push the story of spontaneous violence rising from peaceful protests. Yep, peaceful protestors carrying rocket propelled grenades. More disturbing is the weapons likely came from the U.S.

Not only were additional security requests denied, but the bare essentials were pulled out of Libya right before 9/11. American citizens were left defenseless in a war torn area. There had been 13 previous terror attacks and we know Ambassador Stevens was rightly concerned about his own safety. Both the British Embassy and the Red Cross had closed.

Surely the basic truth was known with 24 hours of the event, so why continue the fabrication? It is impossible to ascertain the reasons behind the big lie but perhaps they would rather blame Americans than evil radicals. Or is it just politics? Why is there such a big disconnect between the White House and the State Department? Why was Ambassador Rice willing to ruin her credibility by pushing the White House story? Why did weeks pass before the FBI went to Benghazi?

The words radical Islam and jihad have been basically banned from government language. You may see no evil, hear no evil or speak no evil, but evil will still exist. Appeasement is the strategy of cowards.

What “bump in the road” will be used to blame the next unfortunate event occurring in the Middle East? The odds of another event are high as the actions of this administration have emboldened our enemies. Who would expect our own government to lie for our enemies? Rather than hope and change we are left with fear, uncertainty and debt. Only true demagogues or fools would want four more years of this incompetence and corruption.
