Rick Hopkins, Chairman of CCTA, just received an email stating that the "Gay Rights" flag is being flown today over the American Embassy in Tel Aviv indicating support for the LGBTQ community according to US ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro.

Dick Cheney: Obama would rather spend money on food stamps than a strong military

Former Vice President Dick Cheney sharply criticized President Obama for reducing the size of the American military including plans to reduce the Army to the smallest force since before World War II.

Cheney pointed out that Obama's plans to cut the military were "over the top," citing "enormous long-term damage" to the military.

Cheney said Obama's decision was made for budget reasons, not any strategic goal.

"He would much rather spend the money on food stamps than he would a strong military or support for our troops," he said.

A once free nation’s descent into tyranny occurs one of two ways: either through sudden violent revolution or gradually over decades in fits and starts. America’s has occurred gradually.

Government conquers its citizens with gradualism because few understand it. Gradualism is imperceptible force.

America has evolved into a lawless state. There has been a breakdown of law and order, but only a few can see it. There are many layers of deception and those few who have become alerted see and understand at different levels.

The first trigger of alert is when a few people come to understand that government is organized crime and that government is in all-out war with its own citizens. The central purpose of Personal Liberty Digest™ is to raise the awareness of the people.

The U.S. Congress has, gradually, ceded its authority to the President and to the alphabet soup agencies of government that it created or allowed the President to create. Now the President rewrites laws on a whim, or chooses to not enforce them on a whim. This is the stuff of third-world banana republics. The imperial presidency feared by the Founding Fathers is in full operation. Yet the feckless Congress hardly whimpers about it and the people do little more than shrug their collective shoulders.

Exclusive: HHS won't say if Sebelius is fundraising for Obamacare

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and other department staff may be continuing to solicit private donations to help an outside group promote the president's health care law as the administration works to boost enrollment figures after a troubled fall rollout.

News last May that Sebelius had asked business executives and nonprofit groups to donate to Enroll America, a nonprofit organization formed to help encourage millions of Americans to sign up for the new Obamacare insurance exchanges, provoked an uproar among Republicans on Capitol Hill.

Two GOP-led House committees launched investigations, and several Republican senators called on the Health and Human Services inspector general to investigate Sebelius' fundraising drive, which watchdogs have described as an unethical shakedown for cash.

Eight months after the news broke, Sebelius' spokeswoman last Friday sidestepped questions from the Washington Examiner on whether her boss has continued to solicit funds from outside groups for Enroll America's efforts.

The President has reached "You have to be kidding!" stage of executive orders. The latest executive order with respect to Obamacare, as summarized in the Treasury Department 'Fact Sheet', provides:

The employer responsibility provision will generally apply to larger firms with 100 or more full-time employees starting in 2015 and employers with 50 or more full-time employees starting in 2016.

While the employer responsibility provisions will generally apply starting in 2015, they will not apply until 2016 to employers with at least 50 but fewer than 100 full-time employees if the employer provides an appropriate certification described in the rules.*

* Those that claim the exemption for 2015 will need to certify under penalty of perjury that they did not reduce their workforce to fewer than 100 employees in order to qualify.

Nothing about this executive order passes constitutional muster:

Executive orders cannot create or change law. Executive orders are for the purpose of administrating law.

Obama’s Racial Segregation Initiative, “My Brother’s Keeper”

Due to inclement weather, Mr. Obama canceled a speech Thursday to explain his new initiative called “My Brother’s Keeper.” The program is intended to persuade private companies to set up mentorships for young black men, help to improve the educational experience of young black men, and to enhance hiring opportunities for black youth.

This is affirmative action program, despite the fact that such programs were struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States.

Finally, the initiative will interfere in school disciplinary policies to ensure fewer black youths are disciplined.

President Obama referenced it in his January State of the Union speech. He is attempting to garner commitments from “foundations, businesses and community groups to help young minority men improve their employment opportunities and intervene before some of them get sucked into the criminal justice system.”

According to The Washington Post, an administration official said the “My Brother’s Keeper” effort will consist of two main parts.

President Obama is facing a deepening dilemma about whether to abandon cuts to Social Security in his next fiscal blueprint, which is due out in March.

Obama touched the third rail of American politics last year when he proposed a new formula for Social Security and other entitlements that would result in benefits being cut over time.

Now congressional Democrats and unions are ramping up their pressure on Obama to drop the proposal, which many fear could become an albatross for the party in the midterm elections.

Obama: Immigration reform will get done by end of presidency

President Obama predicted that Congress would pass an immigration reform bill before the end of his presidency in a Univision Radio interview airing Friday.

“I believe it will get done before my presidency is over,” the president said. “I’d like to get it done this year.”

While the Senate passed a comprehensive immigration bill in a bipartisan vote last year, efforts in the House had faltered. Republican leaders earlier this year outlined a series of principles that appeared to indicate they were open to pursuing immigration reform.

If our elected officials are not representing their constituents, the Constitution or the rule of law, how can any believe that we are a representative Republic? And once we accept the reality, what is our course of action? The government has already labelled Constitutionalists, Christians and veterans as domestic terrorists. The IRS has targeted selected individuals and Tea Party groups without any repercussions. The NSA has implemented an illegal surveillance system that is the envy of every repressive regime in the world.

Army Maj. Nidal Hasan’s words hung in the air along with the smell of gunpowder from his semi-automatic pistol.

On Nov. 5, 2009, the Fort Hood Army psychiatrist methodically and deliberately took the lives of 13 people, including a pregnant woman. Thirty-two others were wounded. The shooting is considered the worst mass murder on a military base in U.S. history, and more than four years later, the victims have yet to find closure.

For the surviving victims, life will never be the same. Retired Army Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford Jr. worked as a psychiatric specialist at the base and had met Hasan several times. He still has difficulty coming to grips with the horrors he witnessed. He’s haunted by the screams of his coworkers whose paths crossed with Hasan in the waiting room at Fort Hood’s Soldier Readiness Processing Center.

“Please, I’m pregnant, don’t shoot my baby! My baby,” cried Pvt. Francheska Velez, a 21-year-old from Chicago. Velez had returned home from her deployment in Iraq because of her pregnancy. Lunsford can still hear her pleading for her life.

It has a President for whom that Constitution is routinely ignored in his quest to “fundamentally transform” America into a nation it has never been despite the slide into progressive policies that began early in the last century.

His namesake legacy legislation, Obamacare, is wreaking havoc on the lives of millions of Americans who have lost or will lose their healthcare plans that have been replaced with those whose cost is far higher. It is costing the nation jobs, reducing further the income of millions. The Congressional Budget Office just released a report predicting it will cost 2.3 million jobs and add $1 trillion in projected deficits.

As reported by CNSnews on February 6, “The debt of the U.S. government has increased $6.666 trillion since President Barack Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, according to the latest numbers released by the Treasury Department. It stands at $17,293,019,654, 981.61. The total debt of the nation did not exceed $6.666 trillion until 2003. The U.S. has accumulated as much debt as it did since its founding.

While in office in his first term, the U.S. credit rating was reduced for the first time in its history.

Republicans renew ObamaCare battle after latest mandate delay

“Administration officials dispute that this is happening on any large scale. Further, Treasury officials said Monday that businesses will be told to "certify" that they are not shedding full-time workers simply to avoid the mandate. Officials said employers will be told to sign a "self-attestation" on their tax forms affirming this, under penalty of perjury.”

Republicans renewed their calls to delay or repeal ObamaCare Monday after the Obama administration announced another delay in the requirement for businesses to provide health coverage to workers, giving some employers a reprieve next year while phasing in the mandate for others. 

The administration had already delayed the implementation of the so-called employer mandate by a year, initially pushing the requirements off until 2015 -- past the midterm elections. In a concession to business, though, Treasury Department officials announced Monday that the administration would not enforce the rules across the board next year. 

"Once again, the president is giving a break to corporations while individuals and families are still stuck under the mandates of his health care law. And, once again, the president is rewriting law on a whim," House Speaker John Boehner said in a statement. "If the administration doesn't believe employers can manage the burden of the law, how can struggling families be expected to?"

Obama's Diabolical Attack on Employment is a Clear Rejection of Mankind's Genesis Mandate

The confounding statement by Obama’s spokesman regarding whether Americans under ObamaCare will choose to work is nothing short of appalling and nonsensical. Certainly, of all the myriad attacks Obama has launched against Americans, this may be the most fundamental and perverse. For what kind of a person, let alone leader, tries to persuade others that work is an option?

That Barack has unbiblical and even anti-Christian ideals has been noted since his advent. But this recent broadside against work is a new low. For it is in the Garden that God commands Adam and Eve to be productive. But to reject this is to collectively turn our backs upon wisdom, common sense, experience, and revealed wisdom.

So what is Barack up to in his 2-term attack upon productivity? From a Marxist perspective, there are a number of reasons to oppose full-employment. First, since the US has a capitalist system, this must be overturned. Second, since capitalism is more highly productive than socialism, it must be shut down so as not to make Marxism suffer by comparison. Third, if Marxist revolution is needed to create a socialist utopia, then this will more likely happen if more people are out of work. Fourth, since unemployed people are more psychologically unwell, the more joblessness we have, the more dissatisfied will be Americans with the current system, and therefore more supportive of revolution.
