Melody Scalley, Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator, Heritage Action.  Heritage Action has been in the forefront of researching the effects of illegal immigration and of tracking the U.S. House's actions and intents on immigration reform.  Hear the latest House plans.

We will show the movie "They Come to America" by documentary film maker Dennis Michael Lynch.  Lynch went to the border to film firsthand what was going on.  He became friends with an undocumented work and his family.  I have seen this film and was very impressed by it.  A trailer of the movie can be seen here.

#NCSEN: Brannon picks up major Tea Party endorsement

News broke last night that a second major Tea Party organization here in North Carolina has endorsed Republican US Senate candidate Greg Brannon.

Moore Tea Citizens – one of the largest and most influential grassroots organizations in the state — gave its blessings to the Cary OB-GYN’s effort to unseat incumbent Kay Hagan Monday evening.  MTC president Miriam Chu announced the news to Brannon while he was in town opening his new Southern Pines campaign headquarters.

Don't Forget the Saturday Seminar on Common Core this coming Saturday!  

Moore Tea Citizens Invites the local community to attend an INFORMATION WORKSHOP ON COMMON CORE.  Our purpose is to inform the public of both supporting and opposing viewpoints regarding this Federal education program.  Common Core represents a major shift in educational philosophy from the traditional State/Local control over public education to a Federally controlled standardized testing and tracking system which will impact and direct all curriculum, regardless of school.  It will require adherence whether the school is public, private, religious, or even homeschool.

MOORE TEA CITIZENS: January 13 Monthly Members Meeting

This Monday night 's members meeting will be especially informative as we enter mid-cycle election season.  We will hear from two good conservative judges who are running for seats on the NC Court of Appeals and NC Supreme Court (respectively)  in 2014:

·  Judge Paul Holcombe

·  Judge Robert Hunter, Jr.

Attorney Neil Oakley will be presenting a power point presentation and discussion regarding the Second Amendment.  This stunning presentation should definitely not be missed!

Also, we'll be launching the raffle of the amazing framed oil painting, "Liberty Flight" by Miriam Chu.  You could be the owner of this fabulous work of art for the low price of a raffle ticket.

We're going to have an enjoyable and informative evening.  Come and meet the new 2014 officers of Moore Tea Citizens, enjoy like-minded camaraderie, and a good Southern all-you-can eat buffet at a great all-inclusive price.

Moore TEA Citizens:  Nov. 11  Monthly Members' Meeting

The focus of our November program will be on the status and current issues related to enforcing the integrity of our nation's borders and immigration reforms.  Our featured speaker will be Mr. James Johnson, President of NCFIRE (North Carolinians For Immigration Reform and Enforcement).

NCFIRE is a statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to immigration enforcement.  The organization represents the citizens' interest in stopping the flood of illegal aliens into North Carolina.  They also seek to educate our citizens to the many costly and destructive aspects of illegal immigrant crime. 

James can answer any questions you have about actions by our NC State Legislature this past session and about the still pending actions by the U.S. House of Representatives in response to the U.S. Senate bill.

We plan two outside speakers who will address aspects of the ObamaCare implementation from their unique perspectives:

· We will have a speaker from the insurance industry who will speak to the ramifications of ObamaCare on insurance and the nature of the healthcare insurance industry.

· A member of the medical industry will speak to us on the ramifications of ObamaCare on doctors and the medical industry. 

This meeting will focus solely on ObamaCare (the "Affordable Care Act"). Everyone is cordially invited to attend an informational evening.

A group of Moore TEA Citizens will be heading over that morning, and we sure want you to go with us! The day will feature our singing favorite, Bruce Bellott! He will be there to sing "We Ain't Goin' Away" and "In God's Hands". Some of the Founding Fathers will be there as well and there will surely be lots of Constitution copies available - well bring a good supply!

Last year's was a huge success with over 1200 in attendance throughout the day. We will be at the beautiful natural amphitheater called Jomeokee Music Park in Pinnacle, NC. It is 15 minutes north of Winston Salem.

There will be a lot of great things scheduled, a family oriented event, great music and just a great time to gather with other like minded individuals across the state. The best part of event is that it's FREE!!! Let's make this the BIGGEST TEA Party event across the region! What better time to do it than during Constitution Week?

TEA Parties and like minded people from across America are invited to band together in a display of UNITY. Celebrate the 225th anniversary of our Constitution as we reaffirm the common goal to restore our founding principles to the Republic.

It's all about freedom, liberty and one nation under God. A family friendly affair with speakers, music, faith and fellowship organized by the North Carolina Central TEA Party Coalition.

PINEHURST PARADE ON JULY 4, 2012

JOIN MOORE TEA CITIZENS AT THE PARADE!
Join us to celebrate our Country's birthday in Pinehurst on the 4th of July. Come ride or walk with us as we parade through the tree lined streets of the Village, reciting the Declaration of Independence. Lee Griffith, Moore TEA member, will lead us in the reading of the Declaration - bring your copy if you have one - we'll have plenty in case you don't have one.

CORRECTION...Meet at the corner of McCaskill & Magnolia at 9:15 AM. We are assigned position 20A for the parade. We've been told there will be room near the Arboretum for people to park.

We plan to have our "screaming eagle" with us shouting ENOUGH!. And, as always, we will be handing out copies of our beloved Constitution to anyone who wishes one.

We need to let the visitors to this parade know that "We Ain't Goin' Away!" and that we are there to urge all conservatives to VOTE in 2012. It is important that we let folks know that we are united in this fight. Consider this a rally for Freedom and Liberty. Let us stand up and speak out!

Our forefathers mutually pledged to each other their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor, to put together the Declaration of Independence and all that it means. Surely we can gather together to celebrate their gift to us and to proudly proclaim it to those within hearing distance.

Moore TEA Citizens needs YOUR HELP.

We have a great organization! We have many super members (over 1,700!) and a wonderful cadre of committee coordinators and team leaders. When you reflect on all that Moore Tea Citizens has accomplished since our formation in early 2009, it really is quite amazing.

All of us work very hard, and all time is, of course, strictly on a volunteer basis. No one gets paid a dime. And everyone works very hard to make every dollar of donated funds go as far as we can possibly stretch it.

We continue to be VERY busy with our North Carolina Moore County TEA Party efforts and we continue to need YOUR HELP!
 
Our many activities require funds for printing, paper, Constitutions (we've given away 20,000 copies in just the past 18 months!) flags, balloons, decorations for parades, insurance, postage, rentals, printer ink, and many other needs.


Some of our members 'just do it' for Moore TEA Citizens, donating books, pamphlets, flags, food galore, and of course their TIME, TALENT AND TREASURE.

In addition, since the Democrat National Convention will be held around Labor Day weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina, we have decided to plan a "billboard campaign" in at least 16 major locations where the traffic is heavy. Our letterhead on this page shows you the design for these colorful, one message billboards.


RECLAIM AMERICA! VOTE! ENOUGH!

Once we meet our financial goal, the billboards will be posted from July until Election Day in November 2012.

We have also reserved mobile billboard coverage of Charlotte for the four days of the Democrat Convention.

The cost for the billboards is about $60,000. So far we have raised almost $48,000 (some promised and not yet received, but expected).

Hopefully this letter will trigger funds for two purposes. First, we ask you to help Moore TEA Citizens get support for its many activities, past, present and planned. The other purpose is to complete the funding for the billboard project.


Never has an election been more critical than this one. We have had ENOUGH - we must RECLAIM OUR COUNTRY!
