Obama’s Racial Segregation Initiative, “My Brother’s Keeper”

Due to inclement weather, Mr. Obama canceled a speech Thursday to explain his new initiative called “My Brother’s Keeper.” The program is intended to persuade private companies to set up mentorships for young black men, help to improve the educational experience of young black men, and to enhance hiring opportunities for black youth.

This is affirmative action program, despite the fact that such programs were struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States.

Finally, the initiative will interfere in school disciplinary policies to ensure fewer black youths are disciplined.

President Obama referenced it in his January State of the Union speech. He is attempting to garner commitments from “foundations, businesses and community groups to help young minority men improve their employment opportunities and intervene before some of them get sucked into the criminal justice system.”

According to The Washington Post, an administration official said the “My Brother’s Keeper” effort will consist of two main parts.

A Chicago police officer is hospitalized in serious condition with a fractured skull, a victim of black mob violence.

The as-of-yet unidentified officer was responding to a call early Saturday morning when he found dozens of people in the street, creating mayhem. He immediately called for backup, but instead of waiting for reinforcements, went to the assistance of a woman under attack.

The mob turned on him: He was struck on the head with the bat.

“No one tried to help him or stop the attack,” said one Chicago police officer. “That happens a lot: Mob violence. No assistance. If anything, most of the people are either participating or encouraging the violence. Not trying to help.”

What the stories do not report is more important, say two Chicago police officers: The crowd was black, missing from all the news reports.

“Maybe the paper did not know,” said one of the officers. “Or maybe they did not think it was important to note that fact because it happens all the time. Or maybe, as usual, Chicago media does an awful job of reporting racial violence. Never reporting it because they think that would be racist.”

Get the book that documents what the media won’t tell you: hundreds of episodes in more than 80 American cities since 2010, where groups of blacks are assaulting, intimidating, stalking, threatening, shooting, stabbing and killing victims.

If the police on the beat are restrained from talking about the incident in public, the police blog Second City Cop is not.

The popular website marveled at the naïveté of the Chicago Tribune for reporting: “It’s not clear if the officer was hit on purpose or accidentally while trying to break up the fight.”

Said Second City Cop: “On purpose or accidentally? We’re going to go out on a limb and say if someone is wandering around Englewood with a bat, at one in the morning, they’re not looking for Rahm’s Midnight Softball Leagues. … They’re looking to beat someone, and it doesn’t matter who gets in the way. We charge people who shoot, maim and kill victims, regardless of who the intended target was.”

Also missing from the story is context: “The story does not report that black mob violence against police in black neighborhoods is a regular and intense and dangerous situation,” an officer told WND. “This happens a lot: When we ride through the neighborhood, we are often greeted by black people pointing their index fingers at us as if they were shooting a gun. They shout: CCK. CCK. Chicago Cop Killer. Some have that tattooed on them.”

Some of the violence against police is on video, as were the black mob attacks on police that followed a police shooting last year.

Two officers were chasing a car of five suspected truck hijackers when they crashed. Four got away. One remained and was fighting with one officer, then advancing on another when he was shot and killed.

American Thinker: Hey Cowards, Let's Have a Conversation

I have worked with many couples in distress.  Initially, the work involves preventing conversation until the rhetoric of the relationship can be improved.  Happy couples mainly talk about their lives; unhappy couples mainly talk about each other.  In doomed relationships, couples use words to humiliate each other.  And as the doomed relationship collapses, the partners become more desperate to spew insults and make the other hear them.

Barack Obama and Eric Holder stand their ground together upon a framing of race so false and degrading that it would inevitably tear the American people apart.  

Attorney General Holder used an utmost humiliating term in calling Americans cowards. He did this with the approval of President Obama, who fully stands by his man each time Holder's wrecking ball takes a swing at the Constitution.  Holder's purpose in shaming Americans was to demonstrate his power as untouchable.  But Holder's abusive language, and the contempt it shows, bore within it the seeds of doom for blame-and-shame race rhetoric.

Social science research uses a model called frame analysis to understand social movements:

"Framing is a process whereby communicators, consciously or unconsciously, act to construct a point of view that encourages the facts of a given situation to be interpreted by others in a particular manner. Frames operate in four key ways: they define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgments and suggest remedies. Frames are often found within a narrative account of an issue or event, and are generally the central organizing idea."  - Jim A. Kuypers, Rhetorical Criticism: Perspectives in Action
Since the end of legalized racial segregation in the 1960s, the central organizing idea of race relations in America has been that white people are still racist and black people are still victims.  This rhetorical frame operates as follows:

1) The problem: the greatest problem in America is that black Americans have lower incomes and poorer health, and are generally less successful than white people.

2) The cause: white racism, which is the primary moral evil in America.  All white people enjoy white privilege, and all black people are victims of white racism, regardless of individual circumstances.

3) Moral judgment: black Americans are not morally responsible for their generally lower achievements and drastically higher criminality because these problems can be traced to white racism.

4) The remedies: keep the focus on white racism; maintain permanent special rights, including affirmative action, racial preferences, and lowered performance standards.  Accept that white racism causes disproportionately high numbers of black people to depend on the government for basic necessities such as food and medical care.  Maintain a "national conversation" about white racism.

The Obama administration exists because of this framing.  No one suggests that Barack Obama would have been nominated by the Democratic Party for the presidency based on his record alone if he had been white.  But still, the framing of race rhetoric that the government advances is breaking down from the weight of its own falseness.

SUN JOURNAL NEW BERN: Perdue vetoes bill to repeal Racial Justice Act

RALEIGH (AP) — North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue vetoed a bill on Wednesday that would have essentially repealed a 2009 law designed to address concerns of racial bias in death penalty cases, saying it is essential the legal process isn’t tarnished by prejudice.

Scott Thomas, district attorney for Craven, Carteret and Pamlico counties, said he and other prosecutors were disappointed with the veto. He said prosecutors across the state will work with members of the General Assembly to override the veto.

Perdue, forced to wade into the controversial topic two weeks ago when the Republican-led Legislature approved the repeal bill, signed the Racial Justice Act into law shortly after taking office in 2009.

The Democratic governor said she’s vetoing the bill "for the same reason that I signed the Racial Justice Act two years ago: it is simply unacceptable for racial prejudice to play a role in the imposition of the death penalty in North Carolina."


Thomas said prosecutors and murder victims’ families are disappointed with the Governor’s veto.

“We oppose all bias, but believe the law passed in 2009 is overly broad and ambiguous,” he said.

“We believe criminal cases should be decided based on the law and facts of a specific case, not statewide statistics.”

Report: Black ‘Mobs’ Attack White Patrons Outside Wis. State Fair

“It looked like they were just going after white guys, white people.” 

That’s how Norb Roffers described the scene outside the Wisconsin State Fair on Thursday night to Newsradio 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee. “They were attacking everybody for no reason whatsoever,” he added.

Roffers and others painted a grim and detailed picture of what unfolded during the first day of the fair.

“It was 100% racial,” claimed Eric, an Iraq war veteran who told the station that young people beat on his car.

California School Orders Boy To Remove American Flag From His Bicycle

Once again, the radical leftist/progressive 'administrators' in our Government Indoctrination System...er...Public Education System strike out against the cute little thirteen year old boys flying American flags on their bicycles.


Is this the America YOU grew up in? This is yet another outrage perpetrated against our children by the government indoctrination system; if we didn't have those evil Teachers' Unions, this sort of thing wouldn't happen, because the TEACHERS and PARENTS would be making such decisions, not some overpaid bureaucrat!

Cody Alicea, 13, likes to fly a small American flag on his bike in honor of veterans such as his grandfather, Robert. He’s been doing it for two months. But now, the school he attends has ordered him to remove the flag citing “racial tensions.”


“In this country we’re supposed to be free,” said Cody, who attends Denair Middle School near Sacramento, CA. “And I should be able to wave my flag wherever I want to. And they‘re telling me I can’t.”

Have Dems re-enslaved blacks?

Putting falsity of left’s ‘racial progress’ in black and white

When black members of the tea-party movement this week rejected unfounded accusations of racism at a news conference in Washington, a provocative comment was made by one activist that is worthy of further exploration.


"Democrats have re-enslaved America," said Kevin Jackson, president of the Black Conservative Coalition. He said tea-party activists, if successful, would reduce the size of government and set in motion another Emancipation Proclamation, the document that President Abraham Lincoln signed that effectively ended slavery.

"This time, even the white folks get freed," said Jackson.

That statement about reinstating slavery may just sound like hyperbole. But there's more to it than meets the eye.

The evidence has never been more compelling that Democrats and "progressives" and leftists have not done anything positive for blacks since some of them supported the Voting Rights Act of 1964. (It's necessary to point out that only some Democrats supported this bill. Many opposed it. Republicans voted in bigger percentages for the legislation.)

That's not to say Democrats, "progressives" and leftists haven't attempted to curry political favor with blacks since then. But I have been racking my brain to try to come up with even one policy they have promoted that has actually been beneficial for blacks or other minorities in the last 46 years.

Can you think of any?

Let's take a look at a few of the possibilities:

Some would say affirmative action has been a positive step for blacks. I would disagree. I believe it has hurt blacks, making their hirings, promotions, acceptances and contracts suspect as the result of official policies of racial preferences rather than merit-based decisions. It has also empowered blacks' new "masters" in government to make decisions about their fate rather than employers, school officials and corporations.

Some would say that welfare-style redistribution schemes have represented a positive step for blacks. I would disagree. In fact, they have been terribly destructive and contributed to the creation of greater government dependency for minorities and less self-reliance and personal responsibility.

Some would suggest that exposure of racism by these forces has contributed to a decline of this insidious force in our society. I would disagree. In fact, the pendulum has swung so far toward reckless and irresponsible accusations of racism at every turn that the very charge is losing its power and meaning.

Do you see what I mean?

I could continue, but each time I come up with a racial policy for which Democrats, "progressives" and leftists congratulate themselves, they turn out to be more self-serving policies than initiatives that resulted in actual benefit to minorities.

So maybe there is something to Kevin Jackson. Maybe he's right. Maybe Democrats really have re-enslaved blacks.

In fact, I don't even think it's a "maybe." It's not a question of "if" they have, it's more a question of "why."

Was it intentional? Or were the motivations good but only the methods bad?

Personally, I think many rank-and-file Democrats, "progressives" and leftists actually have good intentions. But I can't accept that the leaders still do – not after so many decades of experience.

To believe that is to believe they are all stupid, incapable of recognizing that results don't match intentions.

In many ways today the black community is less functional than it was during the worst days of the Jim Crow era. Back then, the family structure – the very building block of community – was still intact. Today, the white family is disintegrating the way the black family did following the manipulations of paternalistic government policies.

In effect, it seems, the Democrats, "progressives" and leftists are trying to put whites in bondage to them and government the way they re-enslaved blacks.

And that's what makes the other statement by Kevin Jackson so prophetic: "This time, even the white folks get freed," he said.

Wouldn't it be nice?
