‘Wake Up, America!’: Beck Delivers One of the Most Passionate Rants of the Year

Glenn Beck said Wednesday that he doesn't care if just “four people” read the news stories — he wants his network TheBlaze to continue covering 15-year-old Justina Pelletier’s case until it is resolved.

“Find every reason to talk about it,” he said. “Turn over every stone. Show me everything that people can do and are doing … this is the most important story to me. Because you have a chance. You have the opportunity to save a woman’s life.”

A little more than one year ago, Justina’s parents lost custody of her after disagreeing with a Boston Children’s Hospital diagnosis that she has somatoform disorder, a psychiatric condition. They believe she has mitochondrial disease, a condition she had been receiving treatment for by doctors at Tufts Medical Center.

Do Common Core’s roots date back to America’s earliest socialists?

You must check out the article and see the Common Core worksheet!  It is complete government propaganda!  ~ Lynn

The Blaze, by Benjamin Weingarten, February 11, 2014

In a recent article, TheBlaze’s Fred Lucas noted a troubling aspect of the mindset driving Common Core. Lucas revealed that during an education panel at the liberal think tank Center for American Progress, Common Core proponent and former Massachusetts education Secretary Paul Reveille stated “the children belong to all of us.”

Back in 2010, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan argued that schools should have a communal function stating:

“My vision is that schools need to be community centers. Schools need to be open 12, 13, 14 hours a day six, seven days a week, 12 months out of the year, with a whole host of activities, particularly in disadvantaged communities…Where schools truly become centers of the community, great things happen.”

In doing some research on progressive education, we came across “Education: Free & Compulsory,” a 1971 book written by libertarian economist Murray Rothbard. In the book, Rothbard notes that Frances Wright and Robert Dale Owen, two of the first socialists in America, writing in the early-to-mid-1800s, outlined an education system eerily ideologically similar to that of Paul Reveille, Arne Duncan and other proponents of Common Core specifically and progressive education more broadly.

Indoctrination and Data Mining in Common Core: Here’s Why America’s Schools May Be in More Trouble Than You Think

TheBlaze has been at the forefront in uncovering the disturbing details of the nationalized curriculum standard known as Common Core. One of the most troubling aspects of this federal program is that government bureaucrats are currently mining sensitive and highly personal information on children through Common Core’s tracking system.

The data will then reportedly be sold by the government to outside sources for profit.

To discuss Common Core’s practice of data mining, Glenn Beck hosted an array of guests on TheBlaze TV Wednesday, including documentarian Andrew Marcus, columnist Kyle Olson; Kris Nielsen, author of “Children of the Core”; Jane Robbins of the American Principles Project; and lawmakers T.W. Shannon, Michael Caldwell and Clarence Mingo III.

Watch part of the segment via TheBlaze TV here:
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/27/indoctrination-and-data-mining-in-common-core-heres-why-americas-schools-may-be-in-more-trouble-than-you-think/

According to the conservative think tank American Principles Project, Common Core’s technological project is “merely one part of a much broader plan by the federal government to track individuals from birth through their participation in the workforce.” As columnist and author Michelle Malkin has pointed out, the 2009 stimulus package included a “State Fiscal Stabilization Fund” to provide states incentives to construct “longitudinal data systems (LDS) to collect data on public-school students.”

In other words, an aggregation system to mind personal data on children including information about their health, family income, religious affiliation and homework.

Even more off-putting is the revelation that a 44-page Department of Eduction Report released in February indicates that the Common Core data-mining system could one day implement monitoring techniques like “Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging” (scanning one’s brain function), as well as “using cameras to judge facial expressions, an electronic seat that judges [a child's] posture, a pressure-sensitive computer mouse and a biometric wrap on kids’ wrists.”

How We Are Branding the USA Abroad!

Swamp People, Hippies, Hijabs, and a Gay Couple: See How the Obama Admin Is Branding America Abroad (& the LGBT Adviser Who’s Behind It!)

Last week, President Obama made history by being the first sitting president to publicly support gay marriage. Now, his administration is the first to openly advertise homosexuality around the globe as an “American ideal.” The Blaze has uncovered documents that show how central gay rights themes have been to the administration and how they are being used by the administration to propagate a rebranding of America and its values.

Two years ago, the Travel Promotion Act of 2010 established the Corporation for Travel Promotion, or Brand USA. This “public-private entity“ was tasked with ”rekindling the world’s love affair with the USA – the place, the spirit, and the dream,” according to Brand USA’s CEO Jim Evans. Brand USA is funded by new taxes imposed on tourists visiting the U.S. and is governed by an 11-member board of directors appointed by Obama’s Secretary of Commerce.

Brand USA has recently come out with a series of ads, playing now in the UK, Japan and Canada, that craft a new vision of America for the world to see. The ads are intended to ”open up some minds as to what America really is,” according to Anne Madison, a Brand USA spokesperson.

But the new ads, titled “Land of Dreams,” deviate alarmingly from the patriotic baseball, apple pie and picket fence vision of “traditional” America. In fact, the only cowboy featured in the ad is…raking a beach?

Beck Offers $150K for Wright’s Secret Box on Obama

On Thursday, The Blaze released more exclusive audio of an interview (parts of which were first released by Sean Hannity) between “The Amateur” author Ed Klein and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. That book contains shocking allegations about President Barack Obama and the relationship he shared with the controversial preacher.

Among the information in the book is Wright’s claims that: Obama saw the pastor as a “deterrent” to becoming president; neither Michelle nor Barack Obama truly embraced religion as “church was not their thing;” and that church served only as a political platform for the Obamas.

But most poignant of all, however, is that the audio reasserts the information that was leaked over the weekend: that Wright was offered a bribe of $150,000 by close Obama-friend Eric Whitaker to remain quiet and refrain from preaching until after the 2008 election. In addition to that, though, the controversial pastor also claims to have a cardboard box that contains proof of Whitaker’s offer, along with other items that would corroborate his story.

THE BLAZE: Supreme Court Sides With Private Property Owner in Landmark EPA Case

March 21, 2012
Today, the Supreme Court has sided with an Idaho couple in a private property rights case, ruling they have the right to go to court to challenge an Environmental Protection Agency policy that blocked construction of their new home and threatened fines of more than $30,000 a day.

In 2007 the EPA halted private property owners Mike and Chantell Sackett from building a new home on their property adjacent to a scenic lake in Idaho. The reasoning? The agency said part of the property was a wetlands that could not disturbed.

The first phase of construction had already been completed on the private residence when federal officials showed up and ordered a halt in the work. A fine of $30,000 a day would be levied against the Sackett’s were they to continue building. The couple was then disallowed by the agency to obtain the permits needed to continue construction in local courts.

‘Is Maybe One Term Enough?’: New Video Reveals ‘The Road We’ve Really Traveled’

GBTV--The Obama administration is pulling out all the stops in its bid to convince Americans it has led the country down the right path — one of prosperity and fulfillment. In fact, a recently released “docu-ganda“ titled ”The Road We’ve Traveled,” paid a 17-minute-long homage to the president, painting him as a flawless savior who rescued America from the plight caused by the “unsavory” Bush administration. To make matters worse, The Blaze reported that the film’s title, along with it’s central theme, have some dubious roots to say the least.

THE BLAZE: So What is the Fed‘s New ’Operation Twist?’

September 22, 2011

The Federal Reserve announced yesterday that it will use more than $400 billion to try to drive down long-term interest rates, make home and business loans cheaper and invigorate the economy.

Analysts said the moves would provide only a slight economic benefit.

The plan the Fed unveiled, dubbed “Operation Twist,“ resembles a program the Fed used in the early 1960s to ”twist” long-term rates lower relative to short-term rates.
“This program should put downward pressure on longer-term interest rates and help make broader financial conditions more accommodative” the Fed said in its official statement according to a recent CNN Money article.

In its statement, the Fed noted that the economy is growing slowly; unemployment is high and housing remains in a prolonged slump.

“This is a measured response to weak economic conditions,” said David Jones, head of DMJ Advisors and the author of four books on the Fed.

“The Fed is still trying but it can only do so much,” he said in the AP report.
