‘Wake Up, America!’: Beck Delivers One of the Most Passionate Rants of the Year

Glenn Beck said Wednesday that he doesn't care if just “four people” read the news stories — he wants his network TheBlaze to continue covering 15-year-old Justina Pelletier’s case until it is resolved.

“Find every reason to talk about it,” he said. “Turn over every stone. Show me everything that people can do and are doing … this is the most important story to me. Because you have a chance. You have the opportunity to save a woman’s life.”

A little more than one year ago, Justina’s parents lost custody of her after disagreeing with a Boston Children’s Hospital diagnosis that she has somatoform disorder, a psychiatric condition. They believe she has mitochondrial disease, a condition she had been receiving treatment for by doctors at Tufts Medical Center.

GLENN BECK HAMMERS REPUBLICAN PARTY IN SCATHING SPEECH TO TEXAS GOP GROUP, LIKENS D.C. TO CHERNOBYL

The Blaze, by Oliver Darcy, February 2, 2014

Glenn Beck skewered the GOP while delivering the keynote address at a local Texas GOP’s Reagan Day dinner, contending the Republican Party hasn’t demonstrated through action that it actually believes the principles it espouses.

“If you believe in something, show me the action,” Beck said at the Saturday night event. “In Washington they are not showing us the action.”

NORQUIST RESPONDS TO TARGETING BY BECK

Tax fighter called 'establishment Republican’ with ties to Muslim Brotherhood

Glenn Beck promised viewers of his television show Monday that his new investigation into a key figure in the “Republican Party establishment” was “just the beginning.”

In an exclusive interview with WND, Beck’s target – Americans for Tax Reform founder and president Grover Norquist – responded, calling the broadcaster’s allegations “old and sad.”

On his show Monday, Beck was joined by Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy, and Daniel Greenfield of the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
Gaffney is a longtime critic of Norquist, alleging the anti-tax activist has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

GLENN BECK ‘HORRIFIED’ BY ‘AMERICA’S LATEST PROPAGANDA MACHINE’

Glenn Beck on Thursday broached a topic that he said “horrified” him when it was brought to his attention roughly two weeks ago, describing it as an “effort to re-write our history and catalyze a new culture for America” with the help of “America’s latest propaganda machine.”
Beck proceeded to tell his viewers about two groups, the first called “Imagining America” and the second called “The U.S. Department of Arts and Culture.”

The latter isn't actually a body of the United States government, but in the group’s own words, “the nation’s newest people-powered department, founded on the truth that art and culture are our most powerful and under-tapped resources for social change.”

‘WHO IS LEADING US?’: GLENN BECK’S SCATHING CRITIQUE OF OBAMA’S ‘DIVISIVE’ LEADERSHIP

Glenn Beck asked three simple questions of his audience on Thursday: Who is leading us? What do they believe? And where are they taking us?

In determining the answers, Beck paid particular attention to the difference between actions and words, analyzing a number of news stories of the day.
“[President Obama] can give speech after speech about people coming together, but if he’s not living that, if that’s not his attitude…it doesn’t work,” he said.
Beck highlighted a number of stories into which the president has “injected” himself, while noting his silence on “other divisive stories where there’s a real chance to unite people.”
Note the difference between the president’s heartfelt comments on the Trayvon Martin case, and his silence on the Christopher Lane case, Beck said.

“I’m watching my commander-in-chief and I’m wondering – why doesn’t he care about this case?Beck asked.  “Does he really care about equal justice, or justice sometimes, for the right people?  Is the president really concerned about racism, as he claims he is, or is he only concerned about racism sometimes, with some people?”
“You can make your own decision, but here’s the real question — what are his actions teaching people?” Beck added.  “Where is he leading us?  What is he building?”
In Beck’s opinion, the president is “building a society that says justice is not blind” and “equal justice no longer exists.”
When the president’s actions do line up with his words, Beck said the insight is “breathtaking.”
“[The president] spoke flowingly during the Arab Spring, and his administration supported the Muslim Brotherhood vocally, and their actions met their words — and when that happens, they’re rarely pro-America,” Beck said.

WHAT LOCAL OP-ED SO DISTURBED GLENN BECK THAT HE’S DISCUSSING LEGAL ACTION?

The Salt Lake Tribune published an opinion piece on July 27 by an “art historian and educator” named Alexandra Karl that has some members of Glenn Beck’s staff so disgusted that they say they’d be happy if he took legal action.

Titled “Karl: Glenn Beck’s Nazi Exhibit,” the op-ed is both riddled with factual inaccuracies and filled with horrific implications about Beck’s character.
“Beyond plain unadulterated stupidity,” is how Beck’s co-host Pat Gray described it on radio Tuesday. “That’s character assassination and defamation territory.”
The opinion piece begins by getting the name and location of Beck’s “Man in the Moon” event wrong (it has been updated to correct the location as of this article’s writing, but not the name), before claiming certain items at the “Independence Through History” museum Beck created for the event came from his “personal collection,” though he doesn’t actually own them.
But far more offensive was the implication, Gray said, that Beck is a “Nazi sympathizer.”

‘We Will No Longer Accept the Lies’

Glenn Beck’s Powerful Speech at Washington, D.C. Rally
on June 19, 2013

Today, inside, they dedicated a new statue of another American giant, Fredrick Douglas – a man born into slavery, but who knew instinctively that he was not born a slave. No man is.

To keep a man a slave you do much the same as the cruel circus masters did to the elephant around the turn of last century. Clamp heavy chains around their legs and stake them to the ground. Then beat and terrorize them. After a while you no longer even have to stake the chain; the elephant gives up and just the mere rattle of the chain convinces the elephant there is no hope, so they give up and do what ever it is the circus requires.

Fredrick Douglas was lucky enough to live in a house where he was taught to read, write and think. He knew God did not make men masters over others. Nor did he ever intend any man to impose unrighteous dominion over another man or beast.

It is time we remind ourselves of this truth again, and begin to rise up against the intimidation before the handful of peanuts from our new political circus masters is considered a kindness and not the symbol of evil cruelty.

In the building behind me, they are now excusing storing all data, phone calls, financial transactions, geotracking on every American for our “safety,” while allowing anyone to cross our borders either on foot or in underground tunnels without any worry or consequence.

They have not suspended or fired but promoted those at the IRS who rattled the chains of control to any group that disagreed with their policies. And now, after pushing misery and death through the so-called “Arab Spring” in country after country, they are plotting a new war with Syria. This will bring death and destruction the world over. We are told that we need to pick sides and arm those who are so far down the scale of decency that even Vladimir Putin asked Americans if they knew that those we are arming have literally eaten their enemies on the battlefield.

The fact that he even needed to ask that question, and that most have never even seen the video of the commander of the rebel troops on TV engaging in this ungodly horror, is an indictment of our government officials and our media.

I am surrounded today by some modern-day spiritual giants. All from different faiths, different backgrounds and many different views. But we all have one thing in common. We don’t recognize our country anymore and because we know that God is just, we tremble for our children’s future.

We wonder, are we even worth defending anymore? If so, why? Who are we? And will we even notice or care when the chain is finally snapped around our legs?

What will be written about us? The greatest generation has passed. We are who historians will watch.

Will it be said that none called for justice not one pleaded for truth? They trusted in vanity and spoke lies. They conceived mischief and brought forth iniquity.

What is it we even believe as a people anymore? Where did we get these ideas that now seem so popular?

Our forbears came to these shores not for free stuff, but for freedom. The chance to make their own way, create a different life. They came here because they knew that God made them free to make their own way in life, take the risk, do their best and take responsibility for their own lives.

They came here because they wanted to serve Him in the way they believed, not as they were told.

But how many care about our history? And, of those who do care, how many really still believe?

Some things are worth believing in. That the little guy can make it. Every single life has value and is worth living. That honor and integrity do matter. That justice will prevail – if not in this life – then the next, and that God does exist. And what we do in our lives matters.

It is the meek and the humble that inherit the earth. Have we forgotten?

We have declared ourselves masters of the earth — spread our troops all over the world, taught the world how to do banking like we do it here in America. Even though we can’t even master our own homes, protect our neighborhoods, or simply balance a check book. How grotesque and garish we must appear to those looking in.

I, for one, still believe in the silly notion of truth, justice and the American way.

Since our founding, a good percentage of our fellow citizens closed their eyes to the civil rights of all Americans. “I’m okay. I don’t want to think of the bad things going on. I am busy. It doesn’t affect me. It can’t be that bad and even if it is, I am just one person and what can I do about it anyway?”

Nothing has changed, except the chairs at the table.

Someone has always been on the losing end of the stick of power. Blacks are the most obvious, the Chinese, the Native Americans, but lets not forget the Irish, the Catholics, the Mormons, the Jews, and now it seems all those of faith that will not conform.

For those that think men make progress collectively: I warn you, history teaches that you couldn’t be more wrong. We are redeemed one man at a time. There is no “family pass” ticket or park hopping pass to life. One ticket, one life at a time.

Man doesn’t vanquish hatred or bigotry. The target keeps moving. From the blacks to the Irish. Atheists to Christians.

But as always, there are a few leaders: Ben Franklin, John Quincy Adams, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Abraham Lincoln, Fredrick Douglas, Booker T. Washington, Gandhi and Martin Luther King. They know that the march toward freedom never ends; man must be ever-vigilant and pray less with his lips and more with his legs.

They never forget that truth, justice, and freedom are the wellspring from which the waters of man’s civil rights come. And so they must be upheld for all men – those you know, those you do not, and maybe more importantly — they must be upheld for those who you do know but do not like or agree with at all.

If they are lost for one, in the end they are lost for all.

In the past, these historic stands which we now call civil rights movements were done by a small but dedicated portion of our citizens which led to great shifts in our culture. But those movements always came from the same institutions … the church. And usually not the church with the popular preacher, but the one who put it on the line to tell the people the truth.

Preachers like these men, who know that we are all born free, but that freedom comes at a great price — a profound responsibility to stand against injustice, hatred and bigotry. Our pulpits have gone quiet out of arrogance, fear and apathy. Their faith is found in the wisdom of man and not in the power of God. For some, losing tithing checks or the gold Rolex watch has become more important than losing man’s freedom.

Whatever the reason, too many are no longer willing to call evil by its name. There is no vision. And when there is no vision, the people perish.

I humbly suggest to you that Martin Luther King knew the answer, and he lost more than congregants during his long march. Students are taught that his vision came from the ideas of Gandhi. Maybe a new radical 20th century progressive philospher was the one that taught MLK that “although we be free of all men, when we choose to make ourselves servants to all, we gain the more.”

Let’s get a couple of things straight. What MLK and Gandhi did was not progressive or new. It was an ancient idea. Hollywood, Woodstock, nor the hippie culture was the source of power of the 1960s freedom movement.

God was.

He was leading those who risked their lives over that bridge in Selma, not Janice Joplin, Columbia University, or a labor union. It wasn’t John Lennon that taught people about love and peaceful resistance — that job fell on the shoulders of a Jewish carpenter. And it is there that we will find the answers that will break the chains that are being forged for a new generation of slaves.

The rights that so many Americans ignorantly preach about so often are not really their rights. They belong to God and they are given to us for stewardship. They are pretty important and obvious. So obvious that we used to say they were “self-evident,” meaning that humans don’t need to be taught; you instinctively know that you have a right not to be executed without a trial, held without charge, searched without warrant or spied upon without cause.

The government is no longer the protector of those civil rights, and so we must be. When we are told that it is okay for the IRS, EPA, ATF, FBI or anyone to hassle, threaten or intimidate others because of their skin color, religion or political belief, we stop being the country that we all want to build, and start being the country the world should fear.

The long train of abuses regarding these rights are the same MLK marched against, and the very same our dusty founders warned us about losing.

Men may make progress, but man never changes. Man loves power and money. No matter the skin color, religion or income level. These symbols of our nation make men drunk with power, who then justify their lust for more by claiming they are public servants. The only difference between Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. is that at least Vegas has the decency to admit the town is full of hookers and crooks.

We must sober up and admit that too many of the Republicans and the Democrats have played us, lied to us and stolen from us, while the getaway car was driven by the media. A media that can no longer claim with a straight face the role of journalist. Journalists print the things the powerful don’t want printed. What they do is public relations. Those PR firms will not print the truth about the average American who finds himself concerned with the direction of our country today. So we must.

We are not violent. We are not racist. We are not anti immigrant. We are not anti-government. And we will not be silent anymore.

Those who wish to use unrighteous dominion over mankind are not enemies of ours; they are enemies of God, and He will not be silent much longer either.

We will no longer accept the lies, the corruption, or the information and data gathering. It is evil. And we come here today to send a message that we will surround all of those who wish to stand and break the cycle of corruption. We will use ourselves as shields to protect those in the system, the elected officials or whistle blowers with the courage to stand.

We come here today to respectfully, but with the power of the spirit, demand to be treated as an equal member of society. I am a man, and I will be treated as such. I answer to only one king and His kingdom will come, His will be done. We have chosen sides and we choose God. America as a nation must do the same, as well.

FROM THE BLAZE AND GLENN BECK RADIO!

Exclusive: Saudio National Once Considered ‘Person of Interest’ May Be Deported on ‘Security and Related Grounds’

Editor’s note: Please see the Editors’ UPDATES we will be placing in order of most-recent below. TheBlaze’s Jonathon M. Seidl contributed to this report.

Key points:

•On Sean Hannity’s Fox News program Wednesday night, terror expert Steve Emerson cited sources saying Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi national who was briefly named a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombings, is being deported on Tuesday.

•Thursday morning, Glenn Beck revealed on radio that TheBlaze was informed by sources that the Saudi national’s visa had been revoked and he was, in fact, going to be deported on “security and related grounds.”

•Among other things, sources told TheBlaze that the Saudi national had ties to a well-connected Saudi family and that his deportation was set to be framed as a “voluntary” departure to be with his family.

•While discussing the issue on radio, TheBlaze’s Chief Content Officer Joel Cheatwood revealed that the government is now considering not deported Ali Alharbi.

UPDATE IV:

You can watch Glenn Beck break the news on radio below:

Indoctrination and Data Mining in Common Core: Here’s Why America’s Schools May Be in More Trouble Than You Think

TheBlaze has been at the forefront in uncovering the disturbing details of the nationalized curriculum standard known as Common Core. One of the most troubling aspects of this federal program is that government bureaucrats are currently mining sensitive and highly personal information on children through Common Core’s tracking system.

The data will then reportedly be sold by the government to outside sources for profit.

To discuss Common Core’s practice of data mining, Glenn Beck hosted an array of guests on TheBlaze TV Wednesday, including documentarian Andrew Marcus, columnist Kyle Olson; Kris Nielsen, author of “Children of the Core”; Jane Robbins of the American Principles Project; and lawmakers T.W. Shannon, Michael Caldwell and Clarence Mingo III.

Watch part of the segment via TheBlaze TV here:
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/27/indoctrination-and-data-mining-in-common-core-heres-why-americas-schools-may-be-in-more-trouble-than-you-think/

According to the conservative think tank American Principles Project, Common Core’s technological project is “merely one part of a much broader plan by the federal government to track individuals from birth through their participation in the workforce.” As columnist and author Michelle Malkin has pointed out, the 2009 stimulus package included a “State Fiscal Stabilization Fund” to provide states incentives to construct “longitudinal data systems (LDS) to collect data on public-school students.”

In other words, an aggregation system to mind personal data on children including information about their health, family income, religious affiliation and homework.

Even more off-putting is the revelation that a 44-page Department of Eduction Report released in February indicates that the Common Core data-mining system could one day implement monitoring techniques like “Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging” (scanning one’s brain function), as well as “using cameras to judge facial expressions, an electronic seat that judges [a child's] posture, a pressure-sensitive computer mouse and a biometric wrap on kids’ wrists.”

Do You Know the History of the NRA and the 2nd Amendment?

Do You Know the History of the NRA and the 2nd Amendment? David Barton’s Fascinating Lesson

As stronger sentiment concerning gun control mounts on the American streets, Glenn Beck invited renown historian and Wallbuilders founder David Barton on his Tuesday evening program to provide viewers with a comprehensive overview of the Second Amendment as a foundation for liberty and freedom.

Beck was compelled to provide this in-depth look after 19 potential executive actions were identified to move the Obama administration forward with new gun control measures. Those measures include but are not limited to: requiring mental health screenings of both the buyer and seller; banning military-style “assault” weapons and high-capacity magazines; issuing a statute prohibiting gun trafficking; and an “end” to the “hobbling of federal agencies.”

“This is not about preventing mass-murders it is about eliminating your right to bear arms,” Beck slammed. “This administration will never waste a good emergency.”

“Americans need to know where the Second Amendment even comes from…The history of our ‘why and how,’ and how it has shaped our foundation of freedom.”

A glance back in time

Barton, whose knowledge-base in American history is by many considered second to none, said that the Second Amendment is truly about a “certain set of principles.” He added that people should not separate the Second Amendment from other amendments, particularly the first five, as they are all aligned and part of one larger concept of protection of one’s self, religion and property. In other words ”unalienable rights.”

The Founding Fathers, according to Barton, believed that God gave these rights to mankind and that no government could take them away.

‘Moses Shaped America’: Despite the Naysayers…America Really Is a Judeo-Christian Nation

On his Thursday evening program, Glenn Beck welcomed Tim Ballard, historian and author of a new book detailing how the Founding Fathers were spiritually moved to created the United States based on Biblical prophecy — particularly as it relates to the ancient Hebrews. “The Covenant: America’s Sacred and Immutable Connection to Ancient Israel” is a book that will likely prove a fascinating read for both history-buffs and faith-keepers alike. Beck and Ballard discussed the importance faith had on the Founders and delved into the spirituality that guided them in their quest to establish a more perfect union.

Whether one believes in the more mystical elements of Ballard’s work, it raises awareness of a subject all-too prevalent in American life today.  America as a Judeo-Christian nation

A familiar narrative among those who refuse to accept that religion played a role in the nation’s founding, or who seek to scrub all reference to “God” from view, is that the United States was founded not by Christians, but by “deists“; not upon the Judeo-Christian ethic or tenets of the Bible itself, but rather on some idea of “pluralism” divined from thin air.

These naysayers typically assert that religious influence is “nowhere to be found” in the nation’s founding documents, nor in the framework of America’s government and legal system. Not even a depiction of Moses carrying two tablets of the Ten Commandments displayed in the highest court in the land is enough to prove to secularists that Judeo-Christianity has always been an integral part of the United States.

Beck Offers $150K for Wright’s Secret Box on Obama

On Thursday, The Blaze released more exclusive audio of an interview (parts of which were first released by Sean Hannity) between “The Amateur” author Ed Klein and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. That book contains shocking allegations about President Barack Obama and the relationship he shared with the controversial preacher.

Among the information in the book is Wright’s claims that: Obama saw the pastor as a “deterrent” to becoming president; neither Michelle nor Barack Obama truly embraced religion as “church was not their thing;” and that church served only as a political platform for the Obamas.

But most poignant of all, however, is that the audio reasserts the information that was leaked over the weekend: that Wright was offered a bribe of $150,000 by close Obama-friend Eric Whitaker to remain quiet and refrain from preaching until after the 2008 election. In addition to that, though, the controversial pastor also claims to have a cardboard box that contains proof of Whitaker’s offer, along with other items that would corroborate his story.

CCTA PRESENTS: NEW STUDY GROUP--"The Original Argument, The Federalists' Case for the Constitution"

May 17, 2012
New Bern, NC

Dear CCTA members and friends,

Our next Study Group Project, in keeping with the theme of being informed, we chose "The Original Argument, The Federalists' Case for the Constitution" as our next project. The format will be slightly different, more like a book study. No tests, but lots of discussion and an opportunity to firm up our principles even more. Hal and Raynor have offered their home again, but we will meet only one day a week on Thurdays from 7-9 pm beginning, May 24th.

If you, like me, have tried to read The Federalists papers you know it's hard work. The book "Original Argument, The Federalist's Case for the Constitution, Adapted for the 21st Century" by Glenn Beck and Joshua Charles, Threshold Editions/Mercury Radio Arts, New York, NY, 2011, is adapted for the way we write and speak today, and is much easier to understand. I truly believe it will help us all to get a better understanding of what the Founders were thinking, and the arguments they used to convince the states that they should ratify the Constitution. It obviously worked.

The Constitution is under a strong attack by the left, and the more we understand the Constitution, the better we will be able to defend the principles in it.

My idea is to enlist as many people as possible to be a facilitator for one night, if you so desire. As a conservative I will let each facilitator decide their own format, but the whole idea is to discuss each chapter as much as possible in a two hour period.

Once again, Hal and Raynor James (off 70E in New Bern) have opened up their home for us to meet in. We will take turns providing goodies.

I don't think anything CCTA does is more important than educating our members, and I believe we will all learn so much from this study. I urge you to plan on attending. Please reply to this e-mail if you would like to attend. If you already own the book, please bring it with you. We sold several at our monthly meeting on May 15th, but we do have a few left. The cost is $7.00. There's no charge for the course, other than the book, some paper for notes and your participation.

PLEASE SIGN UP and RSVP for Thursday's class, TO LYNN CHILDS AT: lynn.ccta@gmail.com
or call Lynn at 252-402-0333.

Do You Know Anybody Like Obama? Beck’s Latest Exposé Could Go Down in History

Thursday evening’s episode of the Glenn Beck Program will likely go down in the history books as one of the very few (if not only) recorded instances of another human being exposing President Obama’s myriad personal and professional inconsistencies in such a detailed and profound way. In fact, viewers might even consider burning themselves a DVD copy to serve as a record of what historians will one day prove.

On Friday, The Blaze will provide more details on the president’s past deeds and associations, along with an additional clip from Beck‘s Thursday’s broadcast. Until then, ask yourself the following question: Do you know anybody like Obama?

Barton Calls Obama ‘America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President’

Is President Barack Obama America’s most “Biblically-hostile U.S. president?” This is the label that conservative historian David Bardon has given Obama, as the nation continues its debate over the president’s controversial contraceptive mandate.

But for Barton, the situation transcends the current debate about religious freedom and the Catholic Church, as the frequent guest on Glenn Beck’s radio and television shows develops his provocative argument in detail.

NEWS AND OBSERVER: Rep. Jones and George Soros = best friends? Not!

You might say former New Bern police chief and current congressional candidate Frank Palombo is stretching a bit when he in a news release ties North Carolina Republican U.S. Rep. Walter Jones to “left-wing radical George Soros.”

Here’s how he does it:

Jones joined Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul and liberal Rep. Barney Frank of Massachussetts in requesting a task force on military spending. A year and a half ago it recommended nearly $1 trillion in Pentagon cuts over 10 years.

Conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck helped out by coming up with a report that 11 of the 14 members of the task force represent groups that Beck says receive funding from liberal philanthropist Soros.

‘The Man Is a Dictator’: Beck Blasts Obama’s Move to Circumvent Congress

Glenn Beck on Thursday blasted President Barack Obama’s use of executive authority to make a recess appointment, calling him a dictator who views the American people as children.

On Wednesday, Obama announced he was appointing Richard Cordray the country’s chief consumer watchdog, (with a new buearcracy with 700 government employees to start) making a recess appointment while the Senate was technically in session. The same day, he named three members to fill vacancies on the National Labor Relations Board (Union Payback!).

Explaining his decision before a crowd in Cleveland, Ohio, Obama said he has “an obligation to act on behalf of the American people” when Congress refuses and hurts the economy as a result.

See Beck‘s Passionate Interview With Allen West Over ’Indefinite Detention Bill’ Stance

In a radio segment Monday morning, Glenn Beck and Congressman Allen West had a lively discussion– and voiced some strong points of disagreement– on the current language of the National Defense Authorization Act, also referred to as the “Indefinite Detention Bill.”

Glenn kicked off the discussion by putting all cards on the table — namely that he holds Congressman West in high regard both personally and professionally, but has a point of real disagreement with him on this policy issue. And he didn’t mince words when discussing his concerns.
