We gave thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels. Americans died. Where is the outrage?

On Sunday, the New York Post ran an excerpt from “The Unarmed Truth” by John Dodson. Dodson is the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agent who blew the whistle on the gun-walking operation known as Fast and Furious.

According to the Mexican government, 211 of their citizens, including police officers and children, have been murdered with weapons from that scandalous operation. So was American Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, whose family, along with every other concerned American, has been stonewalled in their efforts to find out who is accountable for this atrocity. After recounting some truly unbelievable instances of bureaucratic arrogance and ineptitude, Dodson inadvertently poses a question with far larger implications. “We gave thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels. Americans died. Where is the outrage?” he asks.

Perhaps fittingly, “The Boomer Bust,” a column by P.J O’Rourke published the same day in the Wall Street Journal, inadvertently provides a substantial portion of the answer. “We are the generation that changed everything,” O’Rourke writes. “Of all the eras and epochs of Americans, ours is the one that made the biggest impression—on ourselves. That’s an important accomplishment, because we’re the generation that created the self, made the firmament of the self, divided the light of the self from the darkness of the self, and said, ‘Let there be self.’ If you were born between 1946 and 1964, you may have noticed this yourself.”

THIS NEW INFOGRAPHIC SEEMINGLY DEBUNKS ONE OF THE MOST CRUCIAL ANTI-GUN CLAIMS

The Blaze
August 8, 2013
A new infographic published by the National Shooting Sports Foundation is bound to baffle gun control advocates as it seemingly debunks the main anti-gun argument — that more guns equal more crime and therefore make Americans less safe.
Using data from the Department of Justice, ATF, Pew Research Center, National Safety Council and Gallup, NSSF claims that gun crime has plummeted even as gun sales continue to skyrocket.
The data indicates that homicides with firearms are down 39 percent since 1991 while other crimes with guns are down 69 percent. The numbers also show that unintentional firearms fatalities are down 58 percent since 1991 and down 81.3 percent since 1929.
Additionally, 43 percent of Americans say they have guns in their home

Gun Control: the BATF's Secret Plan Gets Exposed--The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms set up a nutty plan to sell weapons to drug operations in Mexico.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms set up a nutty plan to sell weapons to drug operations in Mexico. This would supposedly lead the BATF to drug lords. The plan was called "Fast and Furious." The supposed "sting" operation backfired. The BATF has been publicly embarrassed. Its director was asked to step aside Of course, the only punishment that matters to a federal agency is a budget cut. This never happens. It turns out that the BATF planners had another goal in mind: getting tighter regulations in the USA. That would have dramatically increased the BATF”s authority, leading to a budget increase. CBS News has revealed details.

THE BLAZE: Justice Dept. Tries to Explain How It Got Its Story Wrong on Fast & Furious

The Justice Department on Friday provided Congress with documents detailing how department officials gave inaccurate information to a U.S. senator in the controversy surrounding Operation Fast and Furious, the flawed law enforcement initiative aimed at dismantling major arms trafficking networks on the Southwest border.

In a letter last February to Charles Grassley, the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Justice Department said that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms had not sanctioned the sale of assault weapons to a straw purchaser and that the agency makes every effort to intercept weapons that have been purchased illegally. In Operation Fast and Furious, both statements turned out to be incorrect.

The Justice Department letter was responding to Grassley’s statements that the Senate Judiciary Committee had received allegations the ATF had sanctioned the sale of hundreds of assault weapons to suspected straw purchasers. Grassley also said there were allegations that two of the assault weapons had been used in a shootout that killed customs agent Brian Terry.

In an email four days later to Justice Department colleagues, then-U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke in Phoenix said that “Grassley’s assertions regarding the Arizona investigation and the weapons recovered“ at the ”murder scene are based on categorical falsehoods. I worry that ATF will take 8 months to answer this when they should be refuting its underlying accusations right now.” That email marked the start of an internal debate in the Justice Department over what and how much to say in response to Grassley’s allegations. The fact that there was an ongoing criminal investigation into Terry’s murder prompted some at the Justice Department to argue for less disclosure.

TPN--JUDSON PHILLIPS: Where are the indictments?

No less than 3 scandals mar the Obama administration--where is the public outcry?  Don't let these issues get covered up by the lamestream media!--LC
Posted by Judson Phillips on September 21, 2011

There is a massive scandal in the Obama regime.  It is not only a huge scandal, but there is a cover up to go along with it. What is the scandal? Why isn’t it being covered by the media and perhaps most importantly, why haven’t there been indictments?

The scandal is Operation Fast and Furious. The idea was to allow high-powered weapons to be “walked” across the border from the United States into Mexico. These weapons were then going to be tracked. While most of these weapons were AK-47’s, some of them were Barrett .50 caliber rifles. The Barrett is a rifle that has a range of over 1 mile and is used to penetrate armored targets.

That makes about as much sense as spreading gasoline in a house and lighting a match just to see how the fire spreads. The results have been very predictable.

In Mexico, at least 200 murders have been traced to weapons provided through Operation Fast and Furious. The tally is certainly much higher than just 200, but the only way to prove one of those weapons was involved is to find the weapon at the scene of the crime.

More disturbing is the fact that those guns have been involved in eleven crimes in the United States, including the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

When Operation Fast and Furious first came to light, both Mexico and the Obama regime were pushing the same talking point. Uncontrolled gun sales were allowing high-powered firearms to flood Mexico. In other words, it was America’s fault. Turns out high-powered firearms were being sent to Mexico from America. And that was Obama’s fault.

When the GOP took control of Congress earlier this year, Congressman Darryl Issa began an investigation into Operation Fast and Furious. Immediately, the Attorney General and the Department of Justice began stonewalling.

This is the biggest scandal and cover up since Watergate. Where is the media?

Issa: Obama Drafts Executive Order to Bypass Congress, Exempts Unions

Recently immediately after Congressman Darrell Issa finished giving a speech from the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, I caught up with him for his most recent comments on the investigation into the ATF gunwalking scandal known as Projects “Fast and Furious” and “Gun Runner.”

The California Congressman, as many of you know, is Chairman of the powerful House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is investigating the DOJ’s role in the selling of assault weapons to known drug cartel members. Below is an excerpt from the interview.

Public Outrage Over Obama's Project Gunrunner Scandal Grows

April 7, 2011

As the Obama administration continues to stonewall congressional inquiries regarding orders issued to ATF agents to allow the arming of drug and illegal alien importing paramilitary groups, the level of public concern and alarm is growing.

"We need to know how many assault rifles are currently pointed at American citizens courtesy of the Obama administration's assistance to these domestic terrorist groups," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "How many thousands of illegal alien smuggling invaders are now armed thanks to these orders from the top?"

The scandal known as Project Gunrunner continues to sweep the nation, creating a groundswell of concern from American citizens of all races, political parties, and walks of life.

The Project Gunrunner, also called Fast and Furious, will likely become as big of a scandal as Watergate and Iran Contra!

The ATF, Justice Department, Secretary of State Offices, and White House are all refusing to answer questions or provide documents to members of Congress who are demanding more information.

According to the Washington Times, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has issued a subpoena for the ATF to turn over documents concerning “Project Gunrunner,” and records the agency has on the shooting death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

“The unwillingness of this administration, most specifically the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, to answer questions about this deadly serious matter is deeply troubling,” said Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican. “Allegations surrounding this program are serious, and the ability of the Justice Department to conduct an impartial investigation is in question."

Talk radio shows across America are buzzing with the news that the Obama administration has been caught arming paramilitary rebels who are importing illegal aliens and drugs into America. This news is especially alarming considering President Obama's refusal to secure the borders, adequately enforce existing immigration laws, or to honor his oath of office which requires him to enforce these laws and protect all states from invasion as the US Constitution demands.

"What we have here is a well organized and destructive invasion of America that is being fully supported from the highest office in our land," said William Gheen. "Americans have been betrayed at the top, first by Bush and now by Obama. Our enemies walk freely among us carrying elite armaments they have received with help from the Executive Branch. We have been betrayed! This is Treason! Congress must act!"

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC continues to call for US Citizens to call and write all members of Congress demanding full congressional investigations into this matter, including appropriate prosecutions and possible treason charges. Citizens are asked to give special attention to calling and writing Speaker John Boehner (202-225-0600) and his right hand man Representative Eric Cantor (202-225-2815)

Obama Administration Caught Arming Mexican Illegal Alien Rebels

For National Release

One of America's largest border enforcement advocacy organizations is calling on supporters to demand that Congress use investigations, prosecutions, impeachments, military tribunals, and treason charges if necessary to bring justice to those who betrayed American citizens by arming drug and illegal alien importing invaders.

New information is coming to light that one of America's top law enforcement agencies under the control of the US Presidency was helping to provide military grade guns to the violent Mexican crime cartels, who are importing the vast majority of America's illegal aliens, cocaine, and methamphetamine. Dubbed operations 'Gun Runner' and 'Fast and Furious,' elite weapons such as AK-47 Assault rifles and Barret .50 caliber sniper rifles were allowed to pass freely into Mexico, while the Obama administration called for a crack down on American gun sales.

"This betrayal at the highest levels of our government is consistent with the other betrayals we have documented across the board," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "The Executive Branch of the federal government has been caught lying about border security, leaving our borders wide open during a time of war, failing to protect states from invasion as required by the US Constitution, and now providing military grade arms to the invaders. We are calling on the Congress today to use all possible remedies including investigations, prosecutions, impeachments, and possible charges of treason."

Immediate investigations, prosecutions, and possible treason charges and military tribunals are needed because the evidence suggests that the American government has been corrupted and compromised on a grand scale regarding the importation of drugs and illegals into America. Military tribunals may be needed since those responsible for this betrayal have been arming paramilitary groups with military grade weapons to invade America during a time of war.

Agents are telling the media that this operation was approved by the Department of Justice under Eric Holder. President Obama is denying that he knew anything about the American government sanctioned shipments of large amounts of arms to the drug cartel insurgents.

The elite organized crime syndicates receiving the American sold weapons, compliments of the American ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agency), are responsible for murdering tens of thousands of Mexican citizens in the last few years.

Thousands of innocent American citizens are being killed by these gangs and their illegal alien cargo each year!

Tens of thousands of Americans, predominantly young adults and children, are becoming addicted to and succumbing to the chemical weapons of mass destruction deployed by these groups in the form of cocaine and methamphetamine.

Authorities now believe that Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was murdered with guns acquired through operations 'Gun Runner' and 'Fast and Furious.' Obama's administration has order our Border Patrol agents to fire bean bag rounds while arming the smugglers with fifty caliber rifles.

The ATF is making some kind of strange unbelievable claim that the guns were allowed into Mexico to "gather intelligence" on drug cartels.

"The ATF and the Department of Justice under Obama have just been caught arming a sizable paramilitary force overseeing the invasion of the United States," said William Gheen. "There's no telling how many Americans and Mexicans have been killed with these weapons and how many will die in the future if Congress does not act decisively to restore constitutional governance in America immediately."

The Bush administration, and now the Obama administration, have done all in their power to support illegal immigrants over the wishes and interests of American citizens for the last ten years, which has led to massive job and community instability and an unprecedented shift in US Census counts.

ALIPAC's 40,000 national supporters are being asked to call Congress and talk radio shows to demand immediate action. News updates about this breaking scandal will be archived and displayed at www.ALIPAC.us
