NC Protests the Latest Showing of Big Labor's Push Into South

National Legal and Policy Center, by Paul Chesser, February 13, 2014

Saturday march in Raleigh, NC, that consisted of participants from dozens of left-wing groups – many bused in from more than 30 states – marked a new level of effort by national organized labor to assert itself in the South.

The recognized leader of the demonstration is the president of the North Carolina chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Rev. William Barber (in photo, on right), who recently received national media attention for his remark that black conservatives – such as South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott – are “ventriloquists’ dummies” for the Tea Party. Barber last year conducted a series of “Moral Mondays” protests in the state capital against changes in state law that lowered taxes and limited the growth of government.

But unions have provided extra forces in opposition to the newly Republican-controlled state legislature and governorship. North Carolina, the most ardent right-to-work state in the nation, has become a top target for Big Labor, which has a stated goal to “Organize the South or Die.”

Daily Journal: A Conservative View of Moral Monday

By John Hood, February 10, 2014

RALEIGH — Any political movement that can turn out tens of thousands of protesters on a chilly morning in February must be deemed impressive.

To this conservative, the 2014 edition of Historic Thousands on Jones Street — an annual march initiated by the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP and now associated with the Moral Monday movement — was a remarkable feat of organization, logistics, and marketing. The NAACP did err in claiming that as many as 100,000 people participated in the march through downtown Raleigh. An estimate of 15,000 to 20,000 is more realistic. But that’s still a huge turnout by Raleigh standards, even if some of the participants were bused in from other states.

If organization, logistics, and marketing were sufficient to produce favorable legislation or electoral victories, the Moral Monday movement would be destined for success. I don’t think that is what’s about to happen, however. While the movement has ample financial and human resources, its strategy is fundamentally flawed.

The conservatives now in charge of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of state government, and of most county governments across North Carolina, believe their policies are right. They don’t believe they are sacrificing morality on the altar of political expediency.

‘Hypocrisy Much?!’: What Leaders of N.C. Rally Against Stricter Voter I.D. Laws Tell Marchers to Carry Just Might Make Your Head Explode

The Blaze, Dave Urbanski, February 8, 2014

You have to wonder how many among the thousands who participated in Saturday’s “Moral March on Raleigh” in North Carolina, angry with GOP policies approved in 2013 — including a stricter voter I.D. law — heeded one peculiar warning from march organizers:
Bring a photo I.D. to the march.

A downloadable PDF explainingImportant Do’s and Don’t's for Marchers!!! includes this tidbit: ”DO bring photo identification (driver’s license, passport or other valid photo id) with you and keep it on your person at all times.”

#MoralMarch Recap

Excerpts from article by Lady Liberty 1885!

So, the NC NAACP held their ‘grassroots’ Moral March – which was really just the annual HK on J (Historic Thousands on Jones St) with a bunch of groups bused in to make more noise. The main protest point, among the laundry list presented, was voter ID........

“People were bused in from NY, VA, GA, and SC. Yes, as far away as NY. Possibly even DCand Chicago? Yep – DC too and TN: “Planned Parenthood says buses with their supporters came from Georgia, Tennessee and Washington, D.C. ............

William Barber, Director of the North Carolina Chapter of the NAACP, accuses conservatives of color of being mouth pieces for the GOP. He somehow over looks the big...really big, mouth piece he is, for the Democrat Party.

Irony Defined: NAACP Bullies VIP for Confidential Records

(Raleigh, NC)-JAN 2, 2014—Christmas was postponed indefinitely last month for the Voter Integrity Project after the NAACP served an expansive subpoena for the records of VIP on Friday, December 20, 2013.
“We won’t take this bullying lightly, but do marvel at their hypocrisy,” said Jay DeLancy, Chief Executive of the Voter Integrity Project-NC. “It looks like they’re employing the same tactics against us that bigoted Governors once used when trying to run the NAACP out of the South.”
During America’s civil rights era, several Governors and Attorney Generals attempted to destroy the NAACP by demanding their membership records and then punishing their supporters.
“The Supreme Court banned the practice in 1964’s NAACP v. Alabama decision,” he said, “but today, the NAACP are trying to use that tactic against us—private citizens who worry about election integrity.”
Civil rights groups like the NAACP rose to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s, among other things, by fighting state and local laws in the South that were intended to prevent black people from voting.

“The entire spirit of the 1965 Voting Rights Act was to prevent stolen elections,” DeLancy said, “so we wonder how the NAACP twisted itself into opposing that principle today.”
The NAACP is suing NC Governor, Pat McCrory, over certain aspects of HB 589, the first election-reform law passed by North Carolina Republicans since Reconstruction.

NAACP trying to bully Variety Wholesalers/Art Pope because they don't agree with his politics!

Beaufort Observer, December 9, 2013

NAACP trying to bully Variety Wholesalers/Art Pope because they don't agree with his politics!

This left-wing bullying is wrong and all people of good will should go out of their way to support Variety Wholesalers.

State Budget Director Art Pope responded Monday (12-9-13) to the announced boycott of his family's businesses the NC NAACP, Democracy NC and the Institute of Southern Studies (all left-wing groups). You can read his letter by clicking here. Mr. Pope's letter speaks for itself.

What we would like to offer is what Mr. Pope did not say, but only implied, and then modestly.  Variety Wholesalers, Inc. is a remarkable success story in honest person's view. It is a "homegrown" industry that has save thousands of jobs in towns and communities where the loss of those jobs would have been devastating to small communities. Variety Wholesalers fits a special niche in the retail store industry in this state. It not only locates its stores in rural and small communities, but it also markets merchandise that provides exceptional value to customers—yes, specifically low income people.

Pope responds to criticism from NAACP, other liberal groups

December 9, 2013

RALEIGH, N.C. — State Budget Director Art Pope responded to critics picketing stores owned by his family's company, Variety Wholesalers, with a three-page letter today.
The letter is addressed William Barber, president of the state conference of the NAACP, who has organized the "Forward Together Moral Movement," a network of liberal groups that has consistently criticized the actions of the Republican-lead General Assembly and Republican Gov. Pat McCrory.
Pope and Barber came face-to-face last week as the NAACP leader announced the picketing campaign, which Barber said will "shine a light on NC Budget Director Art Pope's support and influence on the extremist and regressive direction of North Carolina public policy."
Pope responded today saying that he was speaking on behalf of himself and his company, which runs stores such as Roses and Maxway.
"I am shocked that you and your allies would demand any public official to support your political positions, by threatening a business which is not part of state government," Pope wrote. "It would be wrong for me to respond to your demands as State Budget Director because you are carrying out your threats against my company and our employees."

Art Pope and his family have done more actual good for the poor in NC than all but a very few others...

So it was said yesterday, to impugn the “morality” of someone who uses his money in this way:  To mitigate the effects of the federal government shutdown that spanned the first half of October, the John William Pope Foundation has announced $185,000 in grants to humanitarian charities in central, eastern, and western North Carolina.

“The Pope Foundation is always honored to help these vital humanitarian nonprofits with financial support, support that is leveraged by their great volunteers and staff,” said Art Pope, President and Chairman of the Pope Foundation.

“With the added uncertainty and potential increase in need due to a partial federal government shutdown, the Pope Foundation decided to give earlier and more to help these private and volunteer charitable institutions fill the gap and offer a hand up to those most in need,” Pope said. …

I sure would like to see a list of Barber's donations to the poor!

How a Missouri Rodeo Became a Phony Scandal

If an eccentric, liberal, nudist musician had not attended a rodeo at the Missouri State Fair a week ago Saturday, the world would be a slightly happier place. The State Fair would not have banned rodeo clown Tuffy Gessling for life. The NAACP would not have asked the Secret Service to investigate Tuffy for a "hate crime." His clown colleagues would not have been dispatched to sensitivity training. And race tension nationwide would not have ratcheted up another notch.
But the eccentric in question, Perry Beam, did attend the rodeo. He took his wife and a Taiwanese student with him. When Tuffy donned an Obama mask, Beam grew concerned. When the crowd egged the clown on, Beam grew uneasy. But when another clown started bobbling the lips on the mask, well, that sent Beam "over the top." The student recorded it all on his video camera.
Repelled by what he had seen, the exquisitely sensitive Beam fled the fair with wife and student in tow. The normally inquisitive student asked no questions about what he had witnessed. "In a way," says Beam, "I'm glad. I had no answers for him." They rode the sixty miles home in shamed silence.
The whole affair might have ended on Beam's Facebook page had it not been for the intervention of a professor friend of Beam's, a garden variety leftist named Bob Yates. Beam gives Yates credit for forwarding the information "to the appropriate blogs" and that, says Beam, "got the ball rolling."

Articles: Democrats Continue to Prove that It's All about Vote-Buying

AMERICAN THINKER
August 12, 2013

Here's something I'll wager that we don't hear about from Al Sharpton, or Jesse Jackson, or Sheila Jackson Lee, or Jeremiah Wright, or Barack Hussein Obama, or the NAACP, or any Democrat for that matter.  Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ), a Democrat and civil rights icon, speaking while aboard Air Force One about his "Great Society" to two sympathetic governors, said, "I'll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years."
LBJ also said (emphasis mine):
These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness.  Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.
I know that LBJ's language was/is offensive, but hey -- LBJ was an offensive guy!
Civil rights, indeed!  LBJ had only one purpose in mind, was doing nothing more than out-and-out vote buying.  And what's worse is that blacks (and liberal whites) bought it.
Of black Americans, 44 percent consider themselves to have a moderate political viewpoint, and only 28 percent consider themselves liberals.  It was, along with LBJ's efforts, the association of civil rights legislation with John F. Kennedy (JFK) and LBJ that solidified black loyalty to the Democrat Party.  JFK proposed and LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  No Republican presidential candidate has gotten more than 15 percent of the black vote since.

If it's Monday, it must be another protest against tax-cutting Republicans.

Why Are North Carolina Liberals So @&%*! Angry?

The burning heart of liberal activism and indignation this summer can be found, of all places, in the charming capital city of the Tar Heel State. On Monday, for the 11th week in a row, thousands of protesters descended on the copper-domed Capitol denouncing the policies of a Republican Party that for the first time since Reconstruction controls North Carolina's governorship and legislature. Some 800 agitators have been arrested for disrupting the legislature. By all accounts, these "Moral Monday" rallies, though peaceful, are growing in size and volume.
The rallies have caught the eye of the national media, with some referring to Raleigh as the "Madison of the South." Madison, of course, is the famously liberal capital of Wisconsin that turned into a political frying pan in February 2011 when the state's Republican lawmakers reformed union collective-bargaining rules.
Thom Goolsby, an outspoken GOP state senator, has jokingly dismissed the protests in Raleigh as "Moron Mondays" and predicted that they would fade in the weeks ahead. Perhaps, but the stated goal of the organizers is that these rallies evolve into the same kind of political tour de force on the left that the tea party has become on the right. Moral Mondays may be coming soon to a state capital near you.
So what are liberals of all stripes so angry about in North Carolina? I put that question to the organizer of the Moral Monday movement, Rev. William Barber II, a loquacious, likable and politically shrewd preacher and leader of the North Carolina NAACP. (Think Jesse Jackson, but with charm and genuine conviction.) He preaches "civil disobedience" and trains peaceful demonstrators on how to get arrested. He is also a master at political theater.
After a near-five minute sermon about how Republicans have made the state a "crucible of extremism and injustice," it became clear the answer to my question is he and his followers are mad as hell about, well . . . everything. The list of grievances is long but includes unemployment-insurance cuts that took some 70,000 recipients in the state off the rolls, state lawmakers' refusal to sign up for ObamaCare's Medicaid expansion, a proposed voter-ID law, and of course "tax cuts for the rich."
This past Monday marchers were waving signs that read "Justice for Trayvon Martin," "Stop Fracking in North Carolina," and "Vouchers Destroy Public Schools." In recent weeks, demonstrators were out in force demanding abortion rights. On July 2, the state Senate passed a bill requiring health regulations and certified doctors at abortion clinics, a requirement that has been denounced by pro-choice activists as an assault on women. Gov. Pat McCrory has said he would veto that bill, and the state's House of Representatives has since passed a revised bill that will now head back to the Senate.
Mostly, however, these protests are about money. The Civitas Institute, a conservative think tank in North Carolina, recently published an analysis of the financial statements of the left-wing groups sponsoring these rallies, such as the Community Development Initiative and the Institute of Minority Economic Development. It found they have collected about $100 million in state grants, loans and contracts. No wonder they're enraged over GOP lawmakers' attempts to rein in spending.

‘Moral Mondays’ Getting Murkier

CIVITAS INSTITUTE

June 12, 2013

Let’s say you’re an ordinary citizen and you trespass on someone’s property. You come back the next day anyway. You get arrested again, and this time you’re charged with contempt. Wait – what’s that? You’re the Rev. William Barber? Never mind. Please, come inside.

The legal situation surrounding weekly protests at the Legislative Building in Raleigh is growing murkier. If you’ve been following the coverage of “Moral Mondays,” you may have heard the term “civil disobedience” being tossed around. It’s an evocative word: it hearkens to mind the courage of Henry David Thoreau, who willingly consigned himself to prison rather than support a war of aggression in Mexico. It summons images of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., braving the fire hoses and police dogs in Alabama. You might think that the protesters arrested these past weeks at “Moral Mondays” have been braving some of the same hardships.

Nope.

Protesters who are arrested do not spend any time in incarceration. Most of them are cuffed with plastic flexi-cuffs instead of metal handcuffs. They get supportive hugs from General Assembly police officers. The NAACP provides free lawyers to anyone arrested, and the protesters are home by midnight. Oh, and they get souvenirs, too.

Apparently some people in the criminal justice system think that this is still too onerous a process. Colin Willoughby, the Wake County District Attorney, told Civitas that he suggested to police that it “might be appropriate to issue citations” to demonstrators instead of arresting them. In other words, protesters could get a ticket and a fine instead of being charged with a misdemeanor. And Sam Higdon, the assistant director of the Wake County detention center, told us that it was recently “agreed that the CCBI [City-County Bureau of Identification] would not process them.” This, despite the fact that the CCBI has processed all of the demonstrators previously arrested. According to General Assembly Police Chief Jeff Weaver: “The CCBI director, Sam Pennica, stated his budget would not allow him to have additional personnel on site for any more of these arrests.”

Now that the CCBI is out of the loop, arrest reports are no longer readily accessible to the public through the online Wake County Police to Citizen (P2C) portal. Farewell, transparency.

But hey, at least we can take comfort in the fact that the police and District Attorney’s Office are enforcing the law. Or are they?

Reverend Bill - "The Raleigh Commanchero"

June 6, 2013

Come on.... are you really surprised to learn that Reverend Billy’s Traveling Mob is now importing full-time agitators and union thugs? News that the SEIU union thugs are now part of the Monday Jones Street gaggle of Barber-ians and Carrboro old hippies was the plan all along..... and NOT REPORTED by McClatchy weasels or Jim Goodmon’s creepy crawlies. ......

That Barber’s local media stooges are reporting exactly what was agreed to is no surprise..... and no amount of indignation from the public will change that. McClatchy (The N&O) and Goodmon’s bunch (WRAL-TV5) are as committed to civil disruption and public hate-mongering as Barber is.

Baghdad Bob reporting Saddam Hussein’s victory over the Great Satan was amateurish compared to the journo-weasels covering these weekly hate-fests.

One aspect you may have missed is what I call “getting the Injuns likkered up on firewater”. Recall those John Ford / John Wayne westerns in the 60s. They were always set in Monument Valley in Southern Utah.   These movies all built up to the big battle when the “injuns” attacked the cavalry fort. The cavalry was better equipped and better trained (and had John Wayne on their side !!) so these attacks were basically suicide Kamikaze missions. No Indian in his right mind would attempt such. So their minds were messed up before the attack.

“Commancheros” were half-breeds who supplied guns to the Indians..... guns AND firewater (rot-gut whiskey). The night before the big attack the Commancheros would get the Indians likkered up with high-octane “courage-in-a-bottle” and the occasional peyote leaves. Appropriately fueled, the redskins whopped and hollered and rode to their death.

The consequences are much much less severe for Bill Barber’s “tribe” in this current foolishness. But Rev Billy is using the same pre-game tactics.

He picks out a local church as a gathering place each Monday and takes to the pulpit to hoot & holler and rev-up his minions with whatever manner of hyperbolic exaggerated rhetorical hate-imagery that he can dredge up.

Last week he compared Voter ID to “crucifixion” of blacks and the poor and I suppose old Carrboro hippies too.

Compare his over-the-top inflammatory BullS*** to: .......... Hitler in Munich. OR.... Ayatollah Khomeini in a Teheran Mosque

A real piece o' work - Reverend Bill Barber..... "media darling". Say and do whatever you want to Bill and we (McClatchy and Goodmon) will run interference for you every step of the way.

If Bill Barber decides to firebomb the NC General Assembly..... Jim Goodmon will bring the marshmallows and Orage Quarles will bring the weiners. THAT is how much they despise everyone who does not agree with their political point-of-view. How much these three men despise 95% of the people reading this column. And over 50+ of the citizens of North Carolina.

But AgentPierce.... I saw a picture in The N&O / a newsclip on WRAL that showed a nice "normal-looking white lady/man/child" explaining how EEEEEvil all the Republicans are etc etc etc.

Yes, I'm sure you did. Barber is no fool. That "normal-looking white ...." was carefully selected for that sound bite. The media knew exactly who to go to and what he/she would say.

Barber is no fool..... Barber IS a two-bit carny hustler who, to his credit, knows what buttons to push on his brain-dead minions. Jim Jones.... Charles Manson.... David Koresh..... Castro all knew their audience. Every self-appointed tin horn demagogue uses the same tactics. Ramp up the rhetoric and watch the zombies march.

NC Rep. Michael Speciale is my hero!

How wonderful to have NC State Representative that actually has courage, tells it like it is, knows both the US and NC Constitutions and is not afraid of a bully (no matter how big)!
~ Lynn

The latest from the ‘It Needed to Be Said’ Department … The “rules” of political correctness suggest that white folks are to merely sit back and TAKE whatever nonsense scam artists like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and NC’s very own William “Jabba The Hutt” Barber dish out. State Rep. Michael Speciale (R), a freshman legislator from down East, took a recent opportunity to tell it like it is to The Round Reverend™:

Civitas Calls on NAACP’s McSurely to Retract Lie--The President of the Civitas Institute today called on attorney Al McSurely to retract a lie about Civitas he told at a press conference today. State NAACP President William Barber held the conference to castigate efforts to require voter photo ID, and to denounce Rep. Michael Speciale, R-Craven, who had objected in a letter to comments from Barber. Near the end of the conference, Al McSurely, legal redress chair of the state NAACP, took the podium. In his remarks, he assailed conservative groups, and said of Speciale’s letter, “I don’t think he really wrote this letter. I think he gave it to one of his Civitas people and said, ‘Let’s go after Reverend Barber.’”

THE REAL STORY re: Speciale vs Barber--AgentPierceSaid: Feb 1, ’13: HEY, HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT that eeeeevil Republican that insulted Reverend Bill Barber ??? I bet “what you heard/read” was either from WRAL.... or picked up from them by local “mainstream media” around the state. What you heard/read was exactly what Bill Barber and his media cronies wanted you to think. In other words TYPICAL BARBER MEDIA CRAP! .....

Here's what really happened......“The Reverend” Barber sent out a mass e-mail this week to all the members of the NC General Assembly extolling his race-hustling agenda re: The Voter ID issue. Barber is totally within his “rights” to do that. You could do the same on some issue you are passionate about and want to influence legislators on. That is exactly what eeeeevil lobbyists do. Reverend Barber is a lobbyist (boo hiss, yuck – “eeeeevil lobbyist!!) on issues involving the NC NAACP. The N&O says "all lobbyists are eeeevil"...... EXCEPT their boy Bill Barber of course. Huh?? The e-addresses of every state legislator are available in a directory that any citizen can procure. That Barber has those addresses in a database he can access is fine.

THE BLAZE: NAACP Backs Same-Sex Marriage as a ‘Civil Right’

What an insult to all the men and women who led the civil rights movement and to all Americans!
The NAACP, an African-American civil rights organization, passed a resolution on Saturday endorsing same-sex marriage as a civil right and opposing any efforts “to codify discrimination or hatred into the law.”

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s board voted at a leadership retreat in Miami to back a resolution supporting marriage equality, calling the position consistent with the equal protection provision of the U.S. Constitution.

The NAACP Sics The UN On Our Sovereign States

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is petitioning the United Nations to investigate alleged disenfranchisement of black and Latino voters in anticipation of next year’s presidential election. According to the NAACP, which issued a report on December 5, 2011 entitled Defending Democracy: Confronting Modern Barriers to Voting Rights in America, more than a dozen states have passed laws aimed at unfairly restricting the constitutionally protected right of black and Hispanic voters to vote.

Behind the masks--how the radical Left intends to save elections for Obama

September 6th, 2010

When the most vicious attack dogs are backed into a corner, as they say, 'you ain't seen nothing yet.' The mongrels pull out all of the stops, barring none, in order to salvage what little is left of their viability.

This is certainly the case with the Obama minions who are increasingly showing signs of desperation with regard to their public approval...and their looming shellacking at the polls in November.

The radical Left has kicked up its efforts into high gear in a desperate attempt to salvage the November midterm elections this year and to somehow reelect Barack Obama in 2012.

Mainstream America continues to wake up to the fact that they have been duped, that the 'man behind the mask' in the White House is not who they thought, and that the plan for America as implemented by Democrats in Congress since 2006, when they took control of both Houses, is leading the country off the cliff.

The result? The Leftwing consortium of extremist groups has resorted to gutter tactics that one associates with the very worst of the Chicago thugs.

Saul Alinsly, the 1960s radical whom both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton describe as their 'mentor,' described the tactic best in rule number 13 in his book 'Rules for Radicals':

"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

Another way to describe it is 'Disrupt-Discredit-Destroy.'

No greater example of the tactic can be found than the Left's response to Dr. Alveda King's appearance at Glenn Beck's 'Restoring Honor' rally in Washington on 8/28. King, the niece of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., committed the ultimate faux pas in the view of the race-baiters such as Al Sharpton and the NAACP, and thus, a concerted effort was mounted to smear her.

Beck himself has been the subject of outrageous smears, closely akin to that of Sarah Palin. The Huffington Post even offered $100,000 bucks for a non-existent Glenn Beck 'sex tape.'

Meanwhile, the NAACP has joined with the far-Left extremist group Think Progress, arm of the Center for American Progress, to 'highlight' incidences of 'racism' within the Tea Party movement.

It should be remembered that in July it was Think Progress that was caught red-handed manufacturing a fake video depicting non-existent Tea Party racism.

A new website has even been launched, the sole purpose of which is to spout propaganda concerning the supposed racism that is 'rampant' in the Tea Party movement.

And who would be the sponsors of this website? Think Progress, Center for American Progress, Media Matters, and the NAACP.

A much broader consortium of Leftwing organizations is in on the smears, however. The large labor unions, SEIU, the AFL-CIO, and others, are notorious for their sometimes violent attacks against detractors.

Recently the AFL-CIO referred to Sarah Palin as 'McCarthyite,' which, in the view of Leftists, strikes fear in the heart when one remembers that official documents released by the Kremlin during the late 1990s confirmed that most of Joe McCarthy's charges of Communist infiltration of the American government and society during the 1940s and 50s were proved to be 100% correct. But the Left is still counting on the thorough smear-job it accomplished against McCarthy in order to negatively portray Palin.

The AFL-CIO has also joined up with Communists, La Raza, the ACLU, and other unions, for a massive 'voter registration drive' prior to the midterm elections in November.

And ACORN-like voter fraud has already been discovered in Houston, Texas.

The key to understanding the significant threat posed by these groups, and others, is to recognize that the main players are often members of multiple organizations that work behind the scenes toward the same subversive goals. The Tides Foundation, Media Matters, Moveon.org, the Apollo Alliance, Center for American Progress, ACORN (or whatever name du jour they happen to be using), SEIU, the AFL-CIO, and a host of others walk in tandem to target, smear, discredit, and destroy conservative voices.

According to private investigators and other sources, some of these groups often enlist volunteers or pay special operatives to scan conservative websites in order to implement the Alinsky strategy referenced above. And, as this explosive report shows, sometimes the perpetrators work for federal government itself.

Be sure to catch my blog The Liberty Sphere.

LOOKING TO EMBARASS THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT

NAACP, Left-Leaning Media Groups Form Tea Party Tracking Site
A new website sponsored by the NAACP and left-leaning media operations is seeking videographers and bloggers who will search out "racism" and "extremism" among Tea Partiers.

The site, sponsored by the NAACP, Think Progress, New Left Media and Media Matters for America, will monitor "racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement. We call on the Tea Party to repudiate extremists among their ranks and join in civil dialogue with all Americans."
