Featured Speaker: Mary Delaney, Immigration
Expect something different at our Tuesday meeting! Our own Mary Delaney is going to do the "illegal" part of her immigration series, but we need to do our homework first. Why? Too much info to cover in 30 minutes. And its too important to our lives not to know what's going on.
Mary's solution? We need to read the report called "The Dark Side of Immigration" at http://www.usillegalaliens.com/ before the meeting.
Expect an unbiased, well documented report, but brace yourself. The nature of parts is shocking ( Chapter VI, Sex Crimes and Chapter VII, Gangs) and the secrecy surrounding other parts (check out titles of Chapters XXI and XXII is shocking.
Mary's presentation will draw out our reactions to "The Dark Side of Immigration". Then Mary will update us on pending (and proposed) legislation that can provide some solutions, and encourage us to form our personal action plans to put our oars in as good citizens. -- DON'T MISS IT!
