WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2011

Well I am back online again after a week! Trying to catch up on the news! You may be more informed today than I am. CCTA had a wonderful booth at the Mumfest in New Bern, and we would like to thank Hal and Raynor James, Doris and Brad Cummings, April Cash, Connie Hanna, Ceil Wasserman, Cathy New, Gary Lindsey, Don and Nancy Muroch and their four footed pal, Mia, Bob and Catherine Stash--and oh yeah, I was there too! Special thanks to Mary Liz Hynes for her contributions!

My sister's book, "Shifting Culture, Revival, Revolution or Ruin?" (by C.A. Lee) came out last week. I mention this not just because she is my sister, but because this is a book that MUST BE READ by anyone concerned with where our nation is headed, how we got here and solutions; all from a 'Nana's' point of view! This book would make a great Christmas gift for your friends and family--that may not believe how serious our situation is. The book is available at http://www.nanaspeaks.com/ and Amazon.com of directly from CCTA (with a portion of proceeds going to us).

If you missed last night's meeting of CCTA you missed a great program! Tyker Gonzales gaver a presentation on the problems and regulations plaguing our farmers here in NC and nationwide. It was amazing. Hal James our Watchdog Chairman gave an update on Craven County commissioners meetings. I reported on the Federal scene--Occupy Wall Street is being carefully orchestrated by Soros his Tides Foundation and others and glorified by Obama and the liberal left. The goal is economic kaos and class warefare. We must not let them win!

There is alot going on--I will be catching up and bringing you up to date!  Check out today's News Digest!  I will be updating the Legislation pages shortly as well!

Be well all and God Bless!
Lynn Childs
