Dear CCTA Members and Friends,
As many of you know, we asked Sheriff Jerry Monette to sign the pledge sponsored by the Oath Keepers for sheriffs to make to uphold the oath that they took upon entering the office of Sheriff to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of North Carolina, to oppose the current gun control scemes and any attemp to register gun owners or their firearms. The rights of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
We are happy to report to you that Sheriff Monette has indeed sighned that pledge and retured it to the Oath Keepers. The list is now up to 444 Sheriffs and 18 State Associations.
