Democrats launch fake 'Coffee Party'

Democrats launch fake 'Coffee Party'
March 12, 2:50 PM Conservative Examiner Robert Moon

Desperate to undermine the wildly popular Tea Party movement, Democratic campaign donor and self-described "community organizer" Annabel Park (whose web registrant is listed as 'Real Virginians for Webb') has manufactured a "grassroots" left-wing apologist group for Barack Obama.

Park, who admits to sharing Obama's "vision" for the country (and that her Astroturf front group is made up almost entirely of Obama voters), insists that this "Coffee Party" is different from other liberal extremist groups like MoveOn.org.

But like most liberal groups, Park and her obscure handful of fanatics routinely demonstrate a fundamental ignorance of the Constitution, regularly failing to grasp, for instance, that we are a republic, not a democracy (yes, the distinction matters). My personal favorite is her relentless perpetuation of the Obama talking point that winning elections makes it okay to trample the Constitution.

From the "Coffee Party" mission statement: ...the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will...
With a straight face, Park actually claims that the reason this overwhelmingly right-of-center country "seems" to reject the bailouts, deficit spending and government takeovers is that "too many Americans are afraid to participate" in the political process...due to the "extreme tactics" of the Tea Party movement.

Extreme tactics? Like...disagreeing with Obama? While peacefully expressing dissent and getting physically assaulted by liberals?

Here are some revealing Tweets from this champion of civility in January demonstrating what an Obama-worshiping partisan this woman is with a clear vendetta against the Tea Parties:
we must deal with reality instead of indulging the paranoid fantasies of the Tea Party
immigration & healthcare reforms [are about] the economy. don't let 'em scare [you] into backing away [from] reality & necessity.

who wants to meet for coffee & discuss how we can reignite the grassroots movement for change & hope?
we need to re-engage the grassroots movement that got obama elected. we need to get busy. cannot give it away to tea baggers.
Immigration reform rally at DHS. Message is clear: Stop the raids & deportations
Good size group protesting US Chamber of Commerce' lobbying efforts against Administration
We are the movement that got Obama elected. We are being ignored in favor of organized hecklers. WTF!

On a side note, click here for the night-and-day contrast between the news media coverage of this "movement" vs. the Tea Parties.
