President Obama's and Senator Reid's push for a vote on Dream Act Amnesty today is tipping the scale of voter support in favor of candidates opposed to illegal immigrants and ALIPAC is moving quickly to organize support behind candidates by endorsing fifteen who plan to stand against the bill.
ALIPAC is now endorsing the US Senate campaigns of John Boozman (R-AR), Sharron Angle (R-NV), Joe Miller (R-AK), Ken Buck (R-CO), Jay Townsend (R-NY), Dino Rossi (R-WA) and Mike Lee (R-UT), along with Senators Richard Shelby (R-AL), Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), David Vitter (R-LA), Tom Coburn (R-OK), John Thune (R-SD), and Jim Demint (R-SC) for their public opposition to the Dream Act Amnesty bill.
These endorsements are being issued with a special appeal to talk radio shows across America to report on these campaign stances and the approaching vote on Amnesty today.
"Our message to US Senators up for reelection this year is do not underestimate the public backlash against Dream Act Amnesty, combined with Reid's underhanded tactic of attaching Amnesty to defense spending," said William Gheen. "We just want US Senators to represent American citizens, instead of foreign nationals and illegal aliens. Senators who have forgotten their responsibility to represent Americans are going to be fired on November 2!"
Today's addition of 12 (Angle and Boozman endorsed earlier) more US Senate candidates to ALIPAC's national endorsement list raises the number endorsed to 151!

Many of these endorsed US Senate candidates face opponents who support Dream Act Amnesty, which is only supported by 22% of voters, while 59% of voters oppose the measure according to Rasmussen polling in October of 2007.
As one of America's largest national organizations fighting to secure America's borders and reverse illegal immigration, ALIPAC plans to use many methods to inform voters about which US Candidates represent Americans who oppose Amnesty Vs. those who represent illegal aliens and Dream Act Amnesty by election day.
"Our advice to Senators is for them to put down their pens and step away from the Amnesty legislation slowly," said William Gheen. "If the Democrats ramrod amnesty through like this and pass Dream Act Amnesty, voter anger is going to turn into voter rage."
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC supporters will be calling US Senate campaign offices along with offices in Washington asking politicians to reject the Dream Act Amnesty by voting NO on Cloture for the bill and to at least slow down this process so Americans can have more time to voice their opinions before any votes are taken.
