Are you a Republican? President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign wants your email address. As part of the campaign’s push for online donations, there’s a new option on the re-election website for donors to include the name and email address of a GOPer they know. According to the site, it’s a way for donors to “have a little fun” with the Republicans in their lives, by telling them they’ve “inspired” them to make a donation to Obama.
It’s listed under the heading “Who inspires you to give?”:
This holiday season, we’re giving you a chance to have a little fun at the expense of a Republican in your life by letting them know they inspired you to make a donation to the Obama campaign.
Simply enter their name and email address below. Then, we’ll send them a message letting them know they inspired you to donate.
