COMMUNITY COLLEGE GRANT DISCUSSION!


FEBRUARY MEETING:  Monday, February 18, 2013, Golden Corral in New Bern

Meeting begins promptly at 7:00pm

Meal: We encourage informal discussion and fellowship prior to the meeting during supper. If you would like to eat, please arrive between 6:00 and 6:15pm.

GUESTS FROM CRAVEN COMMUNITY COLLEGE:

We are very pleased to report that two representatives of Craven Community College will be joining us at this meeting! Dr. Catherine Chew, President and Carol Mattocks, Board of Trustees Chair will offer comments and take questions.

They will provide a brief college update and specifically talk about grants, such as the recent grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities about Islam.


BY-LAWS COMMITTEE:

Our By-laws Committee will also make a report on their proposed set of by-laws. We will vote on the proposal at our March meeting.
