As you probably already know, President Obama’s State of the Union address will be broadcast live tonight to millions across the country. I expect the president to lay out a laundry list of failed liberal policies that are either unconstitutional, unneeded, unaffordable, or some combination thereof.
If you plan to watch the speech, I’d like to bring your attention to the website http://www.gop.gov/sotu. The website, which will be run by the House Republican Conference, will provide a live stream of the State of the Union, along with a second screen providing live, fact-checked rebuttals from Congressional Republicans. Senator Marco Rubio’s Republican response will be featured on the site as well. Since the media has been unwilling to hold this president accountable, this website will be a useful resource to help ensure that Americans have the facts necessary to hold President Obama accountable.
