A Message from our Chairman

Dear Fellow CCTA Members and Friends,

We're having a TEA PARTY Rally at Union Point Park (at the gazebo) from 5:30 until 7:30 PM on Monday, April 18th (the day taxes are due). Lynn Childs is our Tea Party Chairman, and she's got a great event planned. Bring friends, family, signs, lawn chairs, and yourselves with "brain in gear" and join us!

The next evening, Tuesday, April 19th, we'll have our monthly meeting at 7:00 PM at Healing Grace Church (Country Club Road to Wedgewood to Red Fox Road).  Hal James, our Watchdog Committee Chairman (and the love of my life), will be our speaker. We'll hear about Craven County Taxes and Budgeting, plus State and Federal tax info. "We the people" have had some successes, but I think hearing Hal will reinforce the notion that we have a lot more work to do.

Getting our country back on a fiscally sound basis where there's abundant opportunity for all our citizens is a big job. It will take some heavy lifting, but by working together, like minded people can do it. The alternative is unacceptable.

I hope to see YOU at both events!

Sincerely,
Raynor
