March 28, 2012, 1:00 pm: NC House Select Committee on Immigration-- Come join us in Raleigh for the fourth meeting of the NC House Select Committee on the State's Role in Immigration. The meeting starts at 1 p.m. (BUT GET THERE EARLY) in Room 643 of the Legislative Office Building (LOB). Audience members cannot speak, but our presence influences the Representatives on the Committee. At the second Committee meeting on January 25, Committee members definitely exhibited a tougher stance against illegal immigration than at their initial meeting on December 7.
