Passage of the Amnesty Bill Will Spell the End of Our Republic

American Thinker--James Simpson
June 26, 2013

On Monday, June 24, 2013, the U.S. Senate passed a cloture motion (which ends debate) on the Schumer-Corker-Hoeven Amendment to the Gang of Eight's horrifying illegal alien amnesty bill - mislabeled "immigration reform."

The true purpose of this amnesty proposal is to capture future votes for the Democratic Party. Those who do not acknowledge that blatantly obvious fact either suffer from some debilitating mental illness or are working for the other side.

On rare occasions, even the Left admit the objective. Eliseo Medina, the honorary Chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, and International Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), said in 2008:

...If we reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if we have ...even two out of three, if we get 8 million new voters... we will create a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle.

The "governing coalition for the long term" refers of course to the "permanent progressive majority" Democrats have fantasized about for decades.

The number of illegals in this country is repeatedly cited as 11 million. This is almost certainly an underestimate. In reality the number is 20 to 30 million or more, according to a 2007 study in Social Contract. Bear Stearns estimated about 20 million in 2005. When amnesty passed in 1986, official estimates were 1.2 million illegals. There were actually 2.7 million - more than double. Within ten years, INS estimated the illegal population had grown to 10 million. It is delusional to believe the number has only increased by another 1 million in the 17 years since. Furthermore, when amnesty passes, the newly-legal aliens will invite their relatives to come, further inflating that number through chain migration.

Herein lies the real reason Democrats are slavering for this amnesty bill to pass and are tickling themselves pink that there are Republicans stupid and gullible, (or corrupt) enough to help them realize their dream. And make no mistake, an increase of 30 million in the Democrat Party voter base will guarantee Democrat majorities in the U.S. House, Senate and Presidency for the foreseeable future.

Despite the impossibly bizarre belief by some Republicans that amnesty will make illegals "like us," a high level Congressional source recently acknowledged to me that passage of this bill will spell the end of our Republic and that we literally have only weeks to stop it. Despite House Speaker John Boehner's somewhat ambiguous assurances, this bill is likely to get a vote in the House.

The original Gang-of-Eight bill was really bad, as became readily apparent quite quickly. The overtly fraudulent Schumer-Corker-Hoeven Amendment was offered as a fig leaf to reassure fools that the original bill -- which already promised in-and-of-itself to enhance border security - would actually enhance border security. But in reality it makes things worse. The amendment:
  • Legitimizes illegal immigration: Section 2302 says if you overstay your visa in the future you can still apply for a green card and become a citizen. It is permanent lawlessness... They cannot do that legally under current law!
  • Has no requirement to deploy technologies: The Corker amendment would give the Secretary of Homeland Security full discretion as to how technology would be deployed, or whether it would be deployed at all.
  • Has no fencing requirement: Similarly, building a fence is left to the discretion of DHS. (Note: since a fencing law, with money attached, passed years ago, and has been blithely ignored by the Obama administration, the amendment simply codifies Obama's open defiance of current law.)
  • Increases fees on visas for legal immigrants, but keeps the same low fees and fines for those applying for amnesty - favoring illegal over legal immigrants.
  • Under the Schumer-Corker-Hoeven amendment, the American taxpayers are on the hook for $38 billion. (The Gang-of-Eight claims the bill is fully funded by immigrant fees).
  • Delays promised hiring of 20,000 new Border Patrol agents until somewhere between 2017 and 2021.

Letter to the Editor: Is this the future? By CCTA Member, Lou Call

March 25th, 2013

Letter to the Editor

Is this the future?
What you are about to read is a little troubling to say the least; most of you aren’t even aware that this has taken place. The fact that this has happened in New York State would make you believe that we live in North Carolina and it can’t happen here; and you would be wrong.

It gives us a glimpse into the mind of the true liberal progressive and what they have in store of America.

It is no secret that New York State is one of the most hostile environments in the Country when it comes to gun ownership and control. Chris W. Cox, executive director of NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action recently stated that, “Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature usurped the legislative and democratic process in passing extreme anti-gun measures with no committee hearings and no public input. This obvious disrespect for New Yorkers and their Second Amendment rights and will not be tolerated.”

He went on to say that “Despite the wishes of Governor Cuomo, law-abiding citizens have a fundamental right to keep commonly possessed firearms for defense of themselves and their families.”

What Mr. Cox is referring to is the New York State SAFE act; the Secure Ammunition & Firearms Enforcement act. SAFE encourages state residents to report “illegal” gun owners in exchange for a $500 reward. New Yorkers can call a "Gun Tip Line" if they believe someone they know has an illegal gun, according to CBS6Albany.com. Hotline calls are answered by state police and tips are referred to local law enforcement.

Reminiscent of programs in Cuba or the former Soviet Union, the "reward for turning in your neighbor" program is another example of overreaching by the anti-freedom, power-hungry Cuomo administration. It is outrageous, and it is un-American. These Gestapo like tactics were once employed in Germany during the thirties when true Germans were asked to report anyone harboring Jews or in the Soviet Union if your neighbor wasn’t on board with the Stalinist regime.

It can and will happen here unless we as a free people stand up and speak out. If nothing else we owe it to those who came before us who spilled their blood so that our Republic would continue. Our Constitution has stood fast against many internal threats; none greater than those threats of the last four years.

Alan Caruba: Dumber Than You Think You Are

If you passed through any school system since the 1960s, you are a lot dumber than you think you are. Those of us educated in the 1940s and 50s learned the fundamentals of literacy, history, civics, mathematics, and science in ways that no system relentlessly devoted to “self-esteem” ever could.

The takeover of the educational system, traditionally the responsibility of the states and individual communities, is part of the legacy of former President Jimmy Carter who reorganized the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, establishing a cabinet-level Education Department. He signed it into law on October 17, 1979 and it began operating on May 4, 1980.

The other factor was the rise of teacher’s union beginning in the 1960s. The unions feathered their nests, ensuring that costly retirement and healthcare benefits would burden state budgets until the present when a number of Republican governors in recent years began to reduce their power, based on spending millions to elect legislators friendly to their interests.

It is no accident that the Game Show network has a program, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?

Still another factor has been popular entertainment; in particular, television. For example, the programming of children’s shows are platforms for socialist propaganda, emphasizing the usual lies about the environment and other “progressive” agendas. As often as not, programs for an adult audience, particularly on the National Geographic channel, have engaged in the same dubious “science.”

Aside from the provision of sports and entertainment, television today is filled with programs that are designed to appeal to the lowest IQs. If you tune to the Arts and Entertainment channel (A&E) you will find yourself watching Parking Wars, Storage Wars, Duck Dynasty, and Finding Bigfoot. And why would you watch such shows?

The History Channel has little to no relationship to actual history with programs like Ancient Aliens that purport to show how visitors from other planets aided humans in long ago eras are responsible for the advances of human civilization. On TruTV you can watch Wipe Out as hapless fools try to get through a series of obstacles that knock them around or feel good about yourself with their World’s Dumbest series by watching people too stupid to take up space on planet Earth. Need cash? Watch Hard Core Pawn.

On the Life channel you can watch a show about hoarders, people so deranged they cannot throw out anything and on Biography you can watch Ghosts Caught on Tape. Cartoons directed at adults are filled with the crudest humor from South Park to American Dad and Family Guy. Watching The Real Housewives of anywhere is an assault on anyone’s intelligence as is Keeping Up with the Kardashians and any of its spin-offs.

Dance Moms and Toddlers and Tiaras are tantamount to child abuse. On TLC, there is the idiotic Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Meanwhile, entire generations of children can watch adults portrayed as idiots on shows such as The Office and Arrested Development, as well as popular sitcoms like Two and a Half Men.

This “entertainment” is barely offset by channels such as CSPAN or those on public television that must compete for viewers against this avalanche of moral decay. It says something about present fears and concerns when the most popular news channel, Fox News, retains some semblance of a conservative point of view though one must endure the liberal views of Juan Williams and Bob Beckel.   CONTINUED:  http://www.teapartynation.com/profiles/blog/show?id=3355873%3ABlogPost%3A2417363&xgs=1&xg_source=msg_share_post

Liberty v. Tyranny – Joel M. Killion

We have it all wrong! Our modern political view of “Democrat” on the left versus “Republican” on the right is misleading because the political parties are rarely if ever principled. Likewise, the modern mismeasurement which puts communism at the extreme “left” and fascism at the extreme “right” is false because they are simply different names for similar forms of despotism – the police state.

The Founders, on the other hand, had a much more reasonable yardstick by which to gauge government. Here’s what it looked like: On the left-hand side is “Ruler’s Law” (a.k.a. tyranny, where there is too much government, too much political oppression, too much control), on the right-hand side is “No Law” (a.k.a. anarchy, where there is no government, no law, no control), and then, directly between the two is the balanced center or “medium point” of “People’s Law,” (a.k.a. “Common Law”) where Liberty is a reality through a Constitutional, Republican system of self-government. The first Justice of the Supreme Court, James Iredell, commented on this scale when he said, “There are two extremes equally dangerous to liberty. These are tyranny and anarchy. The medium between these two is the true government to protect the people…this Constitution is well calculated to guard against both these extremes.”

Under “Ruler’s Law,” the people are not equal but are divided into social and economic classes, where the thrust of government power is from the ruler down and not from the people upward, where government has the ever-growing power to give or remove the God-given rights of the people, and where rule is determined by the whimsical edicts of men rather than the fixed rule of law. In addition, with a centralized government, freedom is never considered a solution to anything, while problems are always solved by issuing new edicts, creating more bureaus, appointing more administrators, and charging the people more taxes to pay for these “services”; plus, those in power revel in luxury while the common people are enslaved by perpetual poverty, excessive taxation, stringent regulations, and a continuous existence of misery. Sound familiar?

“Winds of Revolution”-- National Call to Action

Canada Free Press

Yes, America, you are watching the suicide of a great country Mr. Obama and his Progressive Socialists supporters/followers, union and radical thugs, and ardent admirers. They are self-destructing from corruption and ineptitude but are not giving up on fundamentally changing America. We must understand that they have an “Agenda” and are following that “Agenda”. I am finally sensing that Americans are starting to wake up and the winds of a new revolution are swirling to save the country. What does a country and its citizens do as their nation continues to decline in power, financial stability, its culture and the security of its people. At this time, we do not have the leadership to right our ship in time to save the Republic from severe damage it appears.

Mr. Obama, the great reader/orator continues to show his socialist agenda of spending the American peoples’ money first and misleading our country down a path of continual destruction instead of curtailing the cancerous cause of over-spending, rabid regulations, and class warfare. Instead of working to uphold his oath, he chose to set up a straw man in the person of the House of Representatives, specifically, the Republicans and the Tea-Party Caucus. His message is, and has always been, do as I like, or we will crucify you with labels and crass abasement.

Mr. Obama chose to use campaign speeches across the country to kick off his 2012 campaign for re-election in the vein of never letting a serious crisis go to waste. Now he promotes his great “heroism” in taking out Osama Bin Laden from the bowels of the White House. He and others must be replaced by the American People and we need the people to stand up and demand a change.

The economy is severely fragile and the feasting at the government trough is at all-time highs. The main stream media sees the obvious political advantage Obama seeks but appear to be clueless on the realities of the moment. Obama and company choose to make a mockery of our system again and again. He even said he would take his message across the land for the next six months. All the while, Obama places blame on Congress, the private sector and others for his dereliction of duty and lack of leadership seeking re-election and not working to fix America.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran and the perverted radical Islamists here and abroad are playing out their moves on the Chessboard very judiciously understand the domino effect of radical Islam, the caliphate, and Jihad. The United States finds itself languishing in the ‘Sea of Ambiguity’ because of a lack of vision, wisdom, common sense, and courage of our elected and appointed leaders, or has a clear agenda to do harm. We have a President in the White House, A National Security Council, and State Department under Hillary Clinton, and the Defense Department that seem to be as “clueless” as ever in forward strategic thinking.

50 Most Dangerous Liberals in America

After less than two years of watching a far-Left administration and Congress show their contempt for the citizenry and pursue a radical agenda that only hyper-liberal-progressive voters could support, the nation woke up and realized the disaster highlighted by the 2008 election of Barack Obama: Liberals had been given way too much power. Americans have witnessed with disgust the progressives' efforts to tear at the very fabric of America. We don't want to "radically transform" the country. We don't want to reject our founding principles of liberty and limited government. We love our Constitution and respect it.

The midterms were a rejection of the Left. But that's where we must be careful -- like a wounded animal, liberals are dangerous when exposed and backed into a corner.

The Townhall editorial staff saw the threat radical liberals are to our country and compiled a list of those who pose the greatest danger to the future of the republic. The toughest part was limiting the list to 50, but we did it. We had two requirements: 1) They had to be living, which is one reason Saul Alinsky didn't make the list; and 2) they had to be based in America, thus no Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame.

One thing subscribers have quickly noted: Neither Bill nor Hillary Clinton made the list. Tells you something about the people who did, doesn't it?

#1 GEORGE SOROS

Businessman and Billionaire Liberal Financier; Founder and Chairman of Open Society Foundations.

George Soros, the main “money bags” of the Left who is responsible for taking down entire economies on his own by betting against weak currencies, has a disturbing personal history. He grew up in a Jewish, yet anti-Semitic, home in Hungary during the Nazi occupation of Europe and calls it the happiest time of his life.

If Debt Is The Enemy Then There Are Traitors Among Us

Liberty Extra

By Frank Salvato,

The so-called “debt ceiling default crisis” continues to loom, with enough Progressive-Leftist demagoguery in the air to choke a horse, or, in this case, kill an economy. I roll my eyes at the term “debt ceiling default crisis” because the honest man – an increasingly rare species in federal government – understands that there can only be a crisis should President Obama choose to create one. That said, Republicans, TEA Partiers and Conservatives are in danger of doing the right thing in refusing to enable more debt, but losing the public relations war to what amounts to the traitors among us due to chronic messaging impotency.

H.S. Principal Promotes Dem Progressive Propaganda Film Contest

Lame Duck Congress

Circumstances in the US today are like no other in our history.   Obama and Pelosi both are focused on pushing forward their Progressive/Socialist agenda.

Focus in the last two years has been on enacting legislation that will destroy our economy. No matter what Obama may say, I believe he is thrilled with the fact that so many people are now unemployed and dependent on our government.

This is exactly what Alinsky advocated and the Progressives want. Their next hope is that, in desperation, people become violent - so that they can initiate martial law.

After November 2nd, if we are successful in removing many of the incumbents, the Lame Duck session will be made up of many Representatives who "have nothing to lose" - as they will not be returning to the new session. Many dogmatically adhere to the Obama/Pelosi agenda.

Much legislative damage can be done in the Lame Duck session. These Representatives know that even if the new Congress succeeds in repealing this legislation, Obama will probably veto it. Overriding a veto is difficult.

Their agenda can still go forward.

We must be very careful that, in our "euphoria" with our success in removing incumbents, we do not ignore what will be occurring in our Congress. This is going to be a "dangerous" period.

We must be vigilant and immediately take action if we discover legislation that should not get passed. A priority will be to re-focus our energies on the Senators who are coming up for re-election in 2012:

Arizona - Kyl (R)
Nevada - Ensign (R)
California - Feinstein (D)
New Jersey - Menendez (D)
Connecticut - Lieberman (I)
New Mexico - Bingaman (D)
Delaware - Carper (D)
North Dakota - Conrad (D)
Florida - Nelson (D)
Ohio - Brown (D)
Hawaii - Akaka (D)
Pennsylvania - Casey, Jr. (D)
Indiana - Lugar (R)
Rhode Island - Whitehouse (D)
Maine - Snowe (R)
Tennessee - Corker (R)
Maryland - Cardin (D)
Utah - Hatch (R)
Michigan - Stabenow (D)
Vermont - Sanders (I)
Minnesota - Klobuchar (D)
Virginia - Webb (D)
Mississippi - Wicker (R)
Washington - Cantwell (D)
Missouri - McCaskill (D)
Wisconsin - Kohl (D)
Montana - Tester (D)
Wyoming - Barrasso (R)
Nebraska - Nelson (D)

19 Democrats - 8 Republicans - 2 Independents

Please let me know if I have made an error or omission with the above table.

Renew America--Henry Lamb

"A Republic, ma'am, if you can keep it"

By Henry Lamb

Except for a brief period during the Reagan years, America has been moving steadily toward becoming a social democracy rather than the republic our founders gave us. There is a very good reason why this is happening.

Since 1933, http://www.dflorig.com/partycontrol.htm Democrats have had complete control of government — Presidency, House and Senate — for 34 years. Republicans, on the other hand, have had control of government for a total of four years (108th and 109th Congress). Democrats controlled both houses of Congress for 56 years, while Republicans controlled both houses for only 12 years. For 22 years, the Democrats had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate; none for the Republicans.

Clearly, Democrats have steered the ship of state since the Roosevelt era. While Democrats loudly blame the Republicans for all the nation's woes, it is the Democrats who must accept responsibility for the state of the nation.

As bad as things are in the United States at the moment, the United States is in far better shape than most of the rest of the world. But the nation is nowhere near as good as it would have been had the republic — and its free market — been allowed to prosper.

The "Progressive" era that arose from the writings of Marx, Lenin, and others, embraced fully by Woodrow Wilson's administration, infested the Democrat Party, and since Franklin Roosevelt, has promoted policies that advance Marxism and erodes the republican form of government designed by our founders.

The republican form of government created by our founders consists of three primary pillars: the election of representatives who make policy; the election of a president through the Electoral College; and the election of Senators by state legislatures.

All three of these pillars are under severe attack. Increasingly, state and local policies are being decided by direct vote of the people, instead of by representatives elected by the people. This is direct democracy, not the way a republic functions. Our founders carefully avoided the possibility of a direct democracy, well aware of the inevitable anarchy that always follows democracy.

The Electoral College is under severe attack. In addition to Constitutional amendment proposals being introduced into Congress that provide direct vote of the people to elect the president, there is also a powerful movement afoot at the state level to award electoral votes to candidates on a percentage basis rather than on a winner-take-all basis. This proportioned vote distribution is certainly more democratic than the winner-take-all basis. But our founders were not trying to create the most democratic process. They were creating a republic, not a democracy.

The Woodrow Wilson crowd erased one of the three pillars altogether, when it promoted and adopted the 17th Amendment. This amendment took from the states the power to elect Senators and put that power into the hands of the public. Again, singing the progressive song of advancing democracy, the voters adopted the amendment in 1913, right after the 16th amendment which gave the federal government authority to tax income. These two amendments leave the republic a faint shadow of what our founders created. Marxist-driven progressives in the Obama administration are hell-bent to completely destroy what is left of the republic.

The philosophical foundation of a republic includes the idea that people are sovereign, and the government which people create derives its power from the consent of the governed. A social democracy thrives on the idea that the government is sovereign, and may grant or deny freedom to the people as it may please government.

In a republic, the primary function of government is to protect the rights endowed to people by their Creator and to defend the people from all enemies foreign and domestic. In a social democracy, the function of government is to manage the people's behavior and activities to achieve whatever goals the government defines.

A republic recognizes that the less involvement government can have in the market place, the more prosperous that market place will be. In a social democracy, government manages the market place to achieve social objectives rather than prosperity.

Since Woodrow Wilson, the Democrat Party has led this nation further away from the republic our founders created, and steadfastly toward the Marxist utopia embraced by communists, socialists, and social democrats around the world.

The only way to retain what's left of the republic our founders gave us is to rid Washington, and state and local governments of the progressives — and replace them with people who respect, understand, and embrace the Constitution.

VANDAL WHO FIREBOMBED CARNAHAN’S OFFICE IDENTIFIED

VANDAL WHO FIREBOMBED CARNAHAN’S OFFICE IDENTIFIEDHe’s a Dem Operative & Disgruntled Employee ...Update: Carnahan Confesses. Last Tuesday August 17, 2010, Rep. Russ Carnahan’s office was reportedly vandalized and “firebombed” at 2 AM in the morning. Hours later police arrested a suspect for the crime and held him for several hours.

Of course, when the “firebombing” was reported local leftists blamed the tea party activists.

Then things got really weird. The police released the suspect and the Carnahan camp went silent. Carnahan employees were seen dumping documents into a dumpster but refused to to talk to reporters. There was a complete blackout on information. Now we know why.

The suspect was reportedly a disgruntled progressive activist employed by Russ Carnahan. An unnamed source familiar with the case released the information. Suspect Chris Powers reportedly was upset because he did not get his check so he firebombed the Carnahan finance offices at 2 in the morning. What a complete shock.

Powers was a paid canvasser for Russ Carnahan.

Powers is a man on the edge, who has suffered a lot of personal trauma in the recent past. Powers, a radical leftist, is accused of a pretty serious crime in what could only be considered a desperate cry for help.

The Carnahan campaign and their supporters have either ignored the incident rather than recognize the serious nature of a federal crime, instead allow the incident to be reported and used as an example of right wing domestic terrorism.

Those who accused the St Louis Tea Party of such horrible actions should be ashamed, but more important, they should be called on the carpet for their behavior. They need to apologize!

Newspapers attempted to tie the firebombing to last fall’s attacks by healthcare bill supporters and SEIU activists on Kenneth Gladney. They need to think hard before linking a clearly non-violent movement with the sad actions of broken man.

Chris Powers was in the local news when Barack Obama came to town in March to push his unpopular nationalized health care plan. He spoke with the local public radio channel and led an astroturfed protest outside of the Obama-McCaskill fundraiser.

Chris Powers is also a TPM blogger under the name Ripper McCord. He has been active in the progressive movement for years. Update: Carnahan Confesses Posted by Jim Hoft on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, 8:48 AM

SALUTE to Denmark ..

SALUTE to Denmark .. This could very well happen here on our Continent....

Susan MacAllen is a contributing editor for (FamilySecurityMatters.org) Salute the Danish Flag - it ' s a Symbol of Western Freedom By Susan MacAllen

In 1978-9 I was living and studying in Denmark . But in 1978 - even in Copenhagen, one didn ' t see Muslim immigrants.

The Danish population embraced visitors, celebrated the exotic, went out of its way to protect each of its citizens. It was proud of its new brand of socialist liberalism one in development since the conservatives had lost power in 1929 - a system where no worker had to struggle to survive, where one ultimately could count upon the state as in, perhaps, no other western nation at the time.

The rest of Europe saw the Scandinavians as free-thinking, progressive and infinitely generous in their welfare policies. Denmark boasted low crime rates, devotion to the environment, a superior educational system and a history of humanitarianism.

Denmark was also most generous in its immigration policies - it offered the best welcome in Europe to the new immigrant: generous welfare payments from first arrival plus additional perks in transportation, housing and education. It was determined to set a world example for inclusiveness and multiculturalism. How could it have predicted that one day in 2005 a series of political cartoons in a newspaper would spark violence that would leave dozens dead in the streets -all because its commitment to multiculturalism would come back to bite?

By the 1990 ' s the growing urban Muslim population was obvious - and its unwillingness to integrate into Danish society was obvious.

Years of immigrants had settled into Muslim-exclusive enclaves. As the Muslim leadership became more vocal about what they considered the decadence of Denmark ' s liberal way of life, the Danes - once so welcoming - began to feel slighted. Many Danes had begun to see Islam as incompatible with their long-standing values: belief in personal liberty and free speech, in equality for women, in tolerance for other ethnic groups, and a deep pride in Danish heritage and history.

An article by Daniel Pipes and Lars Hedegaard, in which they forecasted, accurately, that the growing immigrant problem in Denmark would explode. In the article they reported:

'Muslim immigrants constitute 5 percent of the population but consume upwards of 40 percent of the welfare spending. '

'Muslims are only 4 percent of Denmark ' s 5..4 million people but make up a majority of the country ' s convicted rapists, an especially combustible issue given that practically all the female victims are non-Muslim. Similar, if lesser, disproportions are found in other crimes. '

Over time, as Muslim immigrants increase in numbers, they wish less to mix with the indigenous population.

A recent survey finds that only 5 percent of young Muslim immigrants would readily marry a Dane. '

'Forced marriages - promising a newborn daughter in Denmark to a male cousin in the home country, then compelling her to marry him, sometimes on pain of death - are one problem '

'Muslim leaders openly declare their goal of introducing Islamic law once Denmark ' s Muslim population grows large enough - a not-that-remote prospect.. If present trends persist, one sociologist estimates, every third inhabitant of Denmark in 40 years will be Muslim. '

It is easy to understand why a growing number of Danes would feel that Muslim immigrants show little respect for Danish values and laws.

An example is the phenomenon common to other European countries and Canada: some Muslims in Denmark who opted to leave the Muslim faith have been murdered in the name of Islam, while others hide in fear for their lives. Jews are also threatened and harassed openly by Muslim leaders in Denmark, a country where once Christian citizens worked to smuggle out nearly all of their 7,000 Jews by night to Sweden - before the Nazis could invade. I think of my Danish friend Elsa - who. as a teenager. had dreaded crossing the street to the bakery every morning under the eyes of occupying Nazi soldiers - and I wonder what she would say today.

In 2001, Denmark elected the most conservative government in some 70 years - one that had some decidedly non-generous ideas about liberal unfettered immigration. Today Denmark has the strictest immigration policies in Europe . ( Its effort to protect itself has been met with accusations of 'racism ' by liberal media across Europe - even as other governments struggle to right the social problems wrought by years of too-lax immigration.)

If you wish to become Danish, you must attend three years of language classes. You must pass a test on Denmark ' s history, culture, and a Danish language test .

You must live in Denmark for 7 years before applying for citizenship.

You must demonstrate an intent to work, and have a job waiting. If you wish to bring a spouse into Denmark , you must both be over 24 years of age, and you won ' t find it so easy anymore to move your friends and family to Denmark with you.

You will not be allowed to build a mosque in Copenhagen . Although your children have a choice of some 30 Arabic culture and language schools in Denmark , they will be strongly encouraged to assimilate to Danish society in ways that past immigrants weren ' t.

In 2006, the Danish minister for employment, Claus Hjort Frederiksen, spoke publicly of the burden of Muslim immigrants on the Danish welfare system, and it was horrifying: the government ' s welfare committee had calculated that if immigration from Third World countries were blocked, 75 percent of the cuts needed to sustain the huge welfare system in coming decades would be unnecessary. In other words, the welfare system, as it existed, was being exploited by immigrants to the point of eventually bankrupting the government. ' We are simply forced to adopt a new policy on immigration ' .

'The calculations of the welfare committee are terrifying and show how unsuccessful the integration of immigrants has been up to now, ' he said.

A large thorn in the side of Denmark ' s imams is the Minister of Immigration and Integration, Rikke Hvilshoj.. She makes no bones about the new policy toward immigration, ' The number of foreigners coming to the country makes a difference, ' Hvilshoj says, ' There is an inverse correlation between how many come here and how well we can receive the foreigners that come. ' And on Muslim immigrants needing to demonstrate a willingness to blend in, ' In my view, Denmark should be a country with room for different cultures and religions. Some values, however, are more important than others. We refuse to question democracy, equal rights, < I>and freedom of speech. '

Hvilshoj has paid a price for her show of backbone.. Perhaps to test her resolve, the leading radical imam in Denmark, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Laban, demanded that the government pay blood money to the family of a Muslim who was murdered in a suburb of Copenhagen, stating that the family ' s thirst for revenge could be thwarted for money. When Hvilshoj dismissed his demand, he argued that in Muslim culture the payment of retribution money was common, to which Hvilshoj replied that what is done in a Muslim country is not necessarily what is done in Denmark.

The Muslim reply came soon after: her house was torched while she, her husband and children slept. All managed to escape unharmed, but she and her family were moved to a secret location and she and other ministers were assigned bodyguards for the first time - in a country where such murderous violence was once so scarce.

Her government has slid to the right, and her borders have tightened.

Many believe that what happens in the next decade will determine whether Denmark survives as a bastion of good living, humane thinking and social responsibility, or whether it becomes a nation at civil war with supporters of Sharia law.

And meanwhile, Canadians clamor for stricter immigration policies, and demand an end to state welfare programs that allow many immigrants to live on the public dole. As we in Canada look at the enclaves of Muslims amongst us, and see those who enter our shores too easily, dare live on our taxes, yet refuse to embrace our culture, respect our traditions, participate in our legal system, obey our laws, speak our lan guage, appreciate our history .. we would do well to look to Denmark , and say a prayer for her future and f or our own..

If you agree with this article, then please pass it on..

Islam is no different to CANCER, they are working their way into every culture like a disease & if we don’t do something NOW (as described above) then all other cultures will be in serious trouble.

WW3 will be islam against the rest of the world
