Benghazi and Obama's Ambition to Be U.N. SecGen

American Thinker
May 25, 23013
by James Lewis

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General.

There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it's true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama's oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up.

But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

1. Obama's unbounded ego.

In three and a half years, Obama will be out of a job. He is 50 now and wants to soar to greater heights, because that's what matters more than anything else in his life.

What's better to Obama's Napoleonic self than being U.N. Sec Gen? He is a man who wants to be worshiped by the world, and the path to that goal is clear. It is also an opportunity to carry out his internationalist and pro-Muslim convictions.

Personalities like his need the excitement of taking big risks for big gains. Obama's slogan "the audacity of hope" comes from Napoleon's general, who described his war strategy as "Audacity, audacity, always audacity!" Alinsky's Rules advise: "Always act outside of the experience of the enemy." It now looks like Obama has never won a single clean election, because he has always violated the rules. He always gambles, and as long as his opponents play by the rules, he wins.

Mitt Romney is a good and decent man, and IRS intimidation of political enemies is just not his way. Knowing that, the Obama campaign violated the rules deliberately, cynically, and with malice aforethought. It worked.

2. Obama's internationalist ideology.

The Communist anthem is The Internationale. When Obama gave his big speech in Berlin even before the first inauguration, his first words were "Citizens of the world!" That was meant as Marxist symbolism. All the leftists in the world cheered themselves hoarse.

Berlin was Marx's city, the capital of the Prussian Empire that was the model for the Communist Worker's Paradise, to be guided by the new Prussian Junkers, the Communist Party. "Citizens of the world!" was an echo of "Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!"

The American media didn't bother to tell us that, but they knew. They knew.

Obama constantly pulls stunts with obvious Marxist overtones. His inner circle laughs at his audacity, and he likes to clown it up for Valerie Jarrett, Michelle, Ayers, and Axelrod.

Obama is a trickster, power-hungry, insatiable, and sociopathic. His enemy is us, or what Jeremiah Wright would call "middleclassness," the values that most of us try to live by.

As a European Socialist, Obama does not believe in the U.S. Constitution. His appointees have no conscience about violating the Constitution, as is obvious from today's news about fundamental IRS violations, fundamental invasion of news reporters' privileges under the First Amendment, and fundamental violations of the ethics of combat commanders -- leaving soldiers under fire to the tender mercies of a vicious enemy.

Obama is audacity man -- violating decent values is his specialty. Bill and Hillary found that out when he played the race card against them at the 2008 Democratic Convention. Democrats always play the race card, but never against each other. In 2008, Obama violated that rule, and he got away with it.

3. Butt-kissing tyrants.

If Obama wants to run for U.N. SecGen after 2016, he needs two things: a U.S. nomination by a Democratic president and a majority vote in the U.N. General Assembly.

Let's say Hillary gets elected in 2016, as Democrats now are hoping. She nominates Obama to be U.N. SecGen, to rousing cheers from the New York Times and Washington Post, the U.K. Guardian, and Workers' World.

Now Obama needs a majority of U.N. General Assembly votes.

By butt-kissing every throwback tyrant in sight, Obama is buying U.N. votes for himself. Obama's public bows to throwbacks like Saudi's King Abdullah and the emperor of Japan are not just another weird thing about this guy. They are strategic, with the purpose of lining up support for the future.

There are 57 Muslim states. (Remember Obama's slip of the tongue when he talked about "all 57 states"? He wasn't thinking about Heinz 57 flavors. He was thinking about Muslim states.)

Europe is the home of imperialist socialism. The European Union is the successor to the Soviet Union, run by an appointed political machine just like the USSR. Obama is a EuroSoc, and he will get enthusiastic support from there.

South America will vote for him, because he is actively supporting leftist regimes below the border. Obama's recent trip to Mexico was full of bowing and scraping to Mexico's tender feelings about losing Texas and California in the 19th century. Blowing open the border is just another favor Obama is doing for Latin America.

If you combine his unbounded ego with his penchant for audacious trickery, it becomes clear why Obama would want to be U.N. Secretary General. To U.N.-worshipers, the SecGen is the basis for a world presidency. Even if it remains a weak position, it could be a wonderful bully pulpit for Obama's endless speech habit. It would crown Obama's life achievements and allow him to crow over the United States with its old-fashioned constitution designed to limit the powers of such as The Trickster.

President Obama could have used the Benghazi attack on 9/11 last year to look like the commander in chief, a role he loves to play. He could have allowed Air Force jets to strafe and bomb the gaggle of Ansar al Shari'a gunmen who overran the compound and killed what are now admitted to be six Americans, including Ambassador Stevens.

This might have been Obama's Heroic Capture of bin Laden, part 2.

When Obama skips a chance to boast and strut on the stage just before an election, we have to wonder why. He is not usually shy about putting himself in the limelight.

Michael Barone and Charles Krauthammer believe that Benghazi was covered up because Obama and Hillary were afraid to admit that al-Qaeda wasn't dead -- that AQ is very much alive, and dangerous as a snake.

On 9/11 last year, there were not one, but two simultaneous assaults on American targets: the Cairo Embassy and the Benghazi compound. The front pages that day showed the black AQ flag flying over a burned part of the U.S. Embassy. Double-simultaneous assaults are an al-Qaeda signature, as we know from 9/11/01, when the Pentagon was assaulted simultaneously with the Twin Towers. Double-bomb attacks spell AL-QAEDA.

Everybody in the Muslim world understood that on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11/01, AQ was telling the world it could strike us at any place and time. Bin Laden may be dead, but jihad keeps marchin' on.   CONTINUE READING:  http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/05/benghazi_and_obamas_ambition_to_be_un_secgen.html#.UaTFPB2r8DM.email   Note:  CCTA is a non partisan organization.  We do not endorse any particular candidate or political party.  News items are presented for you the reader to help you become informed and reach your own conclusions.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Senior stupidity by CCTA Member, Lou Call

May 17, 2012

I can't understand how stupid some people are when it comes to Obamacare. Seniors especially, since we will be affected most by this administrations machinations, either remain silent and hope we are wrong; some blindly follow this Socialist/Marxist in the white house and think they know better.

That in spite of all their supposed intelligence, they fail to look back into history. Let me run this by you. Adolf Hitler dealt with the Jews under the term, 'Final Solution'. He used gas chambers and bullets to reduce the surplus population of the Hebrew culture and other ethnic groups. Some 68 years later we have HR3200 which is what Obamacare is based on.

Think about this for a minute. If you really want to reduce health care costs all you have to do is:

1. Cut Medicare spending to seniors
2. Ration the care that is provided to the senior population (and raise Medicare rates).

I have yet to hear someone explain how you can cut costs and provide better care to seniors.

The final solution to Obama's problem of health care is to provide health care dollars to a younger generation at the expense of seniors. The end result for seniors is that their longevity will be greatly reduced. And done so in a more human way by letting nature take its course rather than focus on extending life. At one time this was left to God but Obama knows better.

Seniors, in November you have a choice. If your vote puts Obama back in the White House you will have no one else to blame for what might be your early demise.

“Winds of Revolution”-- National Call to Action

Canada Free Press

Yes, America, you are watching the suicide of a great country Mr. Obama and his Progressive Socialists supporters/followers, union and radical thugs, and ardent admirers. They are self-destructing from corruption and ineptitude but are not giving up on fundamentally changing America. We must understand that they have an “Agenda” and are following that “Agenda”. I am finally sensing that Americans are starting to wake up and the winds of a new revolution are swirling to save the country. What does a country and its citizens do as their nation continues to decline in power, financial stability, its culture and the security of its people. At this time, we do not have the leadership to right our ship in time to save the Republic from severe damage it appears.

Mr. Obama, the great reader/orator continues to show his socialist agenda of spending the American peoples’ money first and misleading our country down a path of continual destruction instead of curtailing the cancerous cause of over-spending, rabid regulations, and class warfare. Instead of working to uphold his oath, he chose to set up a straw man in the person of the House of Representatives, specifically, the Republicans and the Tea-Party Caucus. His message is, and has always been, do as I like, or we will crucify you with labels and crass abasement.

Mr. Obama chose to use campaign speeches across the country to kick off his 2012 campaign for re-election in the vein of never letting a serious crisis go to waste. Now he promotes his great “heroism” in taking out Osama Bin Laden from the bowels of the White House. He and others must be replaced by the American People and we need the people to stand up and demand a change.

The economy is severely fragile and the feasting at the government trough is at all-time highs. The main stream media sees the obvious political advantage Obama seeks but appear to be clueless on the realities of the moment. Obama and company choose to make a mockery of our system again and again. He even said he would take his message across the land for the next six months. All the while, Obama places blame on Congress, the private sector and others for his dereliction of duty and lack of leadership seeking re-election and not working to fix America.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran and the perverted radical Islamists here and abroad are playing out their moves on the Chessboard very judiciously understand the domino effect of radical Islam, the caliphate, and Jihad. The United States finds itself languishing in the ‘Sea of Ambiguity’ because of a lack of vision, wisdom, common sense, and courage of our elected and appointed leaders, or has a clear agenda to do harm. We have a President in the White House, A National Security Council, and State Department under Hillary Clinton, and the Defense Department that seem to be as “clueless” as ever in forward strategic thinking.

Beaufort Observer, Letter to the Editor: CCTA Chairman, Nancy Murdoch

Beaufort Observer

A frequent liberal writer recently asked: "If not Obama, who?"

As a conservative, I often find myself voting for the lesser of two evils, and this election cycle proves to be no differently. How did a country founded on the idea of personal freedom allow the government to have more power than any individual? How did we lose the idea of personal responsibility and replace it with the Marxist ideas of the collective? How did we reach the place where almost half of the country relies on the government for their welfare? Why have we lost the pioneer spirit and replaced it with an entitlement mentality, and why do so many Americans find that acceptable?

Even though there are many contributing factors I believe the major one is education. Up until the early 1900's our citizens revered, studied and understood our Founding documents and our Founders. (Now even our elected officials have little knowledge about the Constitution, and most of our citizens believe all the Founders were rich, slave-owning white men.)

In 1905, Harry W. Laidler and Norman Thomas met with 100 people in NY and established the Intercollegiate Socialist Society (ISS), establishing chapters in colleges and universities. Laider stated the aim was "to throw light on the world-wide movement of industrial democracy known as socialism". Members of the government, press, radio and motion picture industry were among the early recruits.

The first president who openly reviled the Constitution was Woodrow Wilson. He also introduced the phrase "make the world safe for democracy". (Find the word democracy in the Constitution...it's not there, nor in our pledge of allegiance.) Soon the press and schoolbooks began referring to America as a democracy.

Due to the conflicts in Russia (USSR) the word socialism fell out of favor, so in typical fashion the name of the ISS was changed to The League for Industrial Democracy. Their slogan: "Production for use, not for profit". The use of the word democracy became so common that in 1928 the U.S. Army's Training Manual published a section explaining the difference between democracy and a republic. Apparently few read the manual or the people who needed to read it, did not.

The progressives and socialists have been working to dismantle our Founding documents for over 100 years. Many Americans are angry, and intend to fight the Federal propaganda network, known as the education system. We believe all Americans deserve the freedoms promised in the Declaration of Independence.

Letter to the Editor: America as a Sovereign Nation? by CCTA Member, Lou Call

Check out first:

Letter to the Editor

America as a sovereign Nation?

Since the election of Barack Obama I have maintained that he has no regard for our Constitution or our position in world events as a sovereign Nation.

Recently our Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, when speaking before the Senate Armed Services Committee made the following declaration.

He said that the President should not consult the Congress but look to the globalist power of NATO and the United Nations for direction when deciding to openly engage in foreign war.

When asked by Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama about what legal authority the Administration of Barack Obama has to intervene in Syria as it did it Libya, the Secretary responded. He made clear that the Administration answers not to the American people, the Congress or the Constitution, but to NATO and the U.N.

Panetta stunned Senator Sessions by saying “that the U.S. would seek a legal basis and international permission for military action in Syria” (especially if the action was the work of a coalition). The Obama administration would commit our sons and daughters to a hostile act without the approval of Congress; a clear violation of the War Powers Act.

We have a dictator who sits in the Oval Office; he has used our Constitution for a door mat since he has taken office. He has surrounded himself with socialist/Marxists in cabinet posts, answerable only to him. For our Republic to survive Obama must be removed from office. The future of our grandchildren is at stake and for this there is no compromise.

Liberal Pastor Jim Wallis: America Is ‘Not a Christian Nation

It‘s Never Been a Christian Nation’

Pastor Jim Wallis’ support for the Occupy Wall Street movement and his leftist inclinations are widely documented. The progressive pastor, who has served as a faith adviser to President Barack Obama, is no stranger to controversy. In an interview that will air nationwide at Lifetree CafĂ© locations in the coming days, Wallis made some startling statements about America’s history and heritage.

Lifetree is a weekly, coffee shop-like environment and event series in which individuals come together to explore issues related to God and culture. These events are planned at locations — mainly churches — around the nation and sometimes feature pre-taped videos. In a video to be aired this week, Wallis made the bold claim that America is not a Christian nation.

Obama Gives Socialist Latin American Group $13 Million

Based in two socialist Latin American countries, a group dedicated to helping indigenous populations in that region just got a generous $13 million grant from the U.S. government to combat “exploitative child labor” in Peru. The allocation comes on the heels of a similar, $10 million grant by the same agency—the Department of Labor (DOL)—to fight child labor in Ethiopia. In that case the African country’s notoriously corrupt government, recently exposed for illicit financial flows in the billions, will likely handle some of Uncle Sam’s money. Corruption, kickbacks and bribery are on the rise in Ethiopia, according to a new report issued this week by a research group that aims to curtail the cross border flow of illegal money.

CANADA FREE PRESS: Separation of Powers: Responsibilities/Misuse of…

Open letter to our legislators…

By Online Bill Shimukonas, Sr. Wednesday, November 2, 2011

Dear Sirs, Mesdames,

Given the fact that many of you have not been upholding the promise you took when you were sworn into office, I thought I would remind you of your duties as a United States Congressman/woman and/or Senator. This country is going to the dogs and many of you, regardless of political party, are aiding and abetting that demise because you are not fulfilling your end of your work contract.

Because you, collectively, have conceded many of your sworn duties to the executive branch and therefore to a President who obviously and presumptuously misuses his executive privileges, and because you remain silent when he sanctions his perceived authority with pen and paper with no apparent regard for legitimacy of constitutional protocol, there are some among us who consider you guilty of conspiracy in what appears to be a blatant attempt to defraud this nation of its Constitutionally-bound sovereignty. This President and his administration have made it clear about where they wish to take this country. It does not include a destination where the Constitution is used as a road map. And for those representatives who are far too casual in their motives or otherwise own motives that are specific to the malicious intent of voiding America‘s bedrock foundation, our Constitution, the word conspiracy is just a little too mellow.

Remember, too, that we are still a Republic. Until we become something else, and we are obviously on the way to doing so, the mathematical formula for our basic form of democracy is still based on the concept of one person, one vote. That mathematical equation has changed dramatically, most particularly over the past number of decades. The electorate is now being subsidized more by the influence of lobby and, of course, profligate legislators who cater to self-serving interests rather than submitting to the favor of continuing liberty and underlying freedoms for all Americans. It’s time to get back to the basic dynamics of rule as fostered in our Constitution. Forget the political correctness crap. Put the special interests in their rightful place. Some issues of those groups are legitimate and do indeed deserve consideration in the appropriate forum; most, I submit, belong in the trash bin. Bottom line: Deal with reality head-on. And for those of you with conscience, keep in mind that there are legislators without conscience among you who will continue in their attempts to deflect the course of our history. I encourage you to Stand To. For those of you who legislate with forbearance and intellectual curiosity within the context of our form of Constitutional governance, no offense intended. I wish you well.

However, insofar as the warm bodies who simply take up space in the halls of Congress for reasons other than those that command allegiance to our Constitution, and then raise their hands to affirm linkage to issues that directly countermand the weight of traditional America’s historical sense of individualism or for personal gain, yes, I do hope you are offended. Thus, for you, for those committed to desecrating the vehicle through which so many American Dreams have been born, there is but one way to put it. You are undeserving of occupying chairs where once so many men and women dedicated to the preservation of our truly unique American identity once sat. The stink of your vicious, hateful anti traditional American values diatribes and your votes that endorse a Socialist agenda cling to you as does the pungent, hold-your-breath-as-you-pee, overused, sloppy, wet, paper-strewn floored outhouse. Your lack of respect for and your obvious ignorance of our history scream for redress. Were those of you who I collectively accuse of disrespect, disloyalty and, let us not forget incompetence, were you officers of the state in the Dumas of Josif Djugashvili’s Soviet Russia, you would be sent to Siberia for re-education…if he liked you. And you complain about water boarding. Give us a break.

However, since you live in this once great country where such things as the First Amendment still apply, paid for in blood lest you had forgotten, you are given a pass regardless of the venial rhetoric and your disaffected voting records. And, for whatever it may be worth, every time you do so, you spit on the graves of all the men and women who passed onto us a gift, one already paid for, bundled, packaged and delivered. For the uninformed or in the case of so many of our belligerent so-called leaders in Washington as well as others who occupy lesser seats at the state and local levels of government, it’s called freedom. Imagine that? Yes, comrades of Alinsky/Lenin doctrinal values, and it implies a form of governance that was founded on (wow, now get this), free will. And we don’t have to do squat other than manage it. That’s why you were elected. That is your job.

I urge you, all of you, to review the tasks that clearly define your responsibilities as noted at the end of this text. That is just a small part of the package, our gift from Americans past. Don’t throw it away for convivial concepts of often false ceremonious writs of mutated doctrine that history without exception defines, at best, as mediocre governance that suppresses, in the words of Thomas Wolfe, “the spirit of man.” It really is quite simple. It’s all about the Constitution, the root of our laws, and your oath to preserve that document. You need only follow the guidelines and then stand up vigorously, angrily if you must, to those who violate the same. You do that and a whole bunch of us will, as we say in the military, watch your back. It’s an honor thing. We’ve also taken the oath. But, I daresay, unlike many who simply put voice to the words, that oath is coded in our blood; and for many throughout the entirety of our short history, it was left on the battlefield. Therein lay the true worth of that document. No treasure, no intrusive or insidious argument contrary to the stated intent of those words in our Constitution can justify the cost of prohibitive change. And your oath, your conviction as to its worth, as is ours, is the key to preserving that treasure for all who follow.

Congress has General Powers of Legislation:

•To exercise exclusive jurisdiction over the District of Columbia, public lands, public buildings, forts and navy yards. (Granted, some legitimate amendments here).
•To enact all laws necessary and proper for carrying into execution all the powers vested by the Constitution in the government of the United States.

Powers and Duties of the President:

•Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy.
•Communicates with Congress by message.
•Approves or disapproves Acts of Congress.
•Makes treaties with advice and consent of the Senate.
•Commissions Public Officers of the United States.
•Grants reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States.

Spes sibi quisque . . . Let each man’s hope be in himself; let him trust to his own resources.

Have a nice day,

THE DAY OF RAGE COMING TO USA

British style rioting coming to USA

Anarchists are in training for the US Day of Rage coming to a political theatre near you. Gleeful about the raging riots that held England captive this week, the tweet has gone out to activists and ‘disaffected’ youth to “occupywallstreet#Sept17” today. Social Networks FaceBook and Twitter are abuzz with plans for coming anarchy on U.S. soil. The Days of Rage will continue beyond the ‘occupation’ of Wall Street with activists being told “bring your tent”.

Turning our Backs on Democracy, Facing Dictatorship

Under Barack Obama, America has virtually gone from a Republic to a dictatorship - a dictatorship crafted by a man who has proven time and again that the Constitution of the United States and the rule of law mean nothing to him. Instead, the Dictator-in-Chief has shown that he will do anything to push his Socialist agenda on the nation. America's separation of powers has been made a mockery by Barack Obama. For two years it was easy. Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi [D-CA] and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid [D-NV] formed a ruling trifecta that completely blocked Republicans ...

Ref: letter by Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party [“Obama Rising - Totally in charge”] February 4, 2011

Feb. 9, 2011

Sir / Ms,

My apologies for taking so long to refute the many statements made by Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party, but I was dazzled at the inaccurate and false statements he made throughout the letter. So I will start at the top. Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party - has stated that “conservative moderates” were drawing analogies between President “where is my teleprompter” Obama and the great communicator President Ronald Reagan. I have not heard any “conservative moderates” make any such statements. I did hear some liberal commentators trying to compare Obama to President Ronald Reagan. This surprised me because these same people had always declared their hate for President Ronald Reagan. And Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party, for your general information a moderate is not a conservative. As for conservatives, they have compared the two and Obama is shown to be a selfish little child next President Ronald Reagan. Obama can’t give a 2 minute speech without his teleprompter and speeches written by others. President Ronald Reagan would give an outline of what he wanted to say to speech writers and they would give a speech to him to review. He would then correct and rewrite it so it was his speech, not something created for him by a back room hack. Many times he sat at his desk and wrote it out longhand. President Obama always talks about how great it is to have the government in charge of your life and how only the government should be allowed to decide how you will live, if you are allowed to live. He will say that in speeches given in the united States. In speeches delivered outside the country, it is a different story. He will talk about how evil the United States is and he will apologize for us being a free and capitalist nation. President Ronald Reagan gave speeches on how great this nation is because of the strength of the American citizen and NOT because of the strength of government. He knew that it was citizens with a dream that built this nation to greatness, not the government. He believed in this country and its people.

As for the shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords, all the proof that has been presented is that the “alleged” shooter was a politically left leaning nut case, known to be a nut case and the sheriff in that country (a democrat) failed to do his job by putting the shooter on the list to prevent his buying a firearm. They allow that in Arizona! In Arizona law enforcement can put a person on a list to prevent a non-felon with behavior problems that may become a threat from buying a firearm. So the sheriff failed to do his job and you point a finger at the NRA? How does that work? And by the way Representative Gabrielle Giffords is a NRA member and a gun owner.

As a member of the local TEA Party group I must point out that I am NOT a Republican. We, the TEA Party, have given notice to the Republican party that we will NOT be co-opted. We may agree on some things, but we are tired of the normal DC politics in all the parties. So I don’t know where you get the statement “GOP - TEA Party prattle”, unless you are just against the Constitution of the United States of America. That is what we in the TEA Party are working for. To bad the DNC can’t say the same.

The health care bill may have some changes in it, but it will not be revoked as long as Senator Reid, President Obama and other socialist leaning people are in power. They are working as hard as they can to form a socialist economy in this country and destroy the capitalist economy we have now that allows an individual to dream and work to make that dream come true. So we can just keep working to put an end to the government intrusion into our health care and the dictatorial control over the medical professionals. You want to reduce health care cost? Get the government out of it!

Medicare will stay. There will be changes and improvements. No conservative is going to abandon people to die in the street. Conservatives believe in life. We are the ones against murdering the unborn babies. It is the democrats and other liberals that want to kill the children even before they have had a chance to breath. What greater hatred for life can there be then to kill the unborn baby?

Will Social Security stay? For a while yet. I personally want it phased out. It would take a few decades, but we should start looking at ending it as a retirement service. Those already on Social Security would stay. It is to late to do anything else for them, but why should a person 20 or 25 be forced to take part in a ponzi scam? If you feel the government should be involved in forcing someone to put back their own money for their retirement, then let the individual decide how that money is saved and secured. It is their money and their future. If they want to buy stocks or mutual funds or just put it in a bank account that should be their decision. I can’t find out where the Government has the right to put a gun to my head and say “give us your money to give to someone else and maybe we will give you someone else’s money when you get old”. If you put the money in a bank or in stocks then you decide who gets it when you die, not the government. My money should be private. YOU did not earn my money and I did not earn yours. Yes Social Security should be phased out. It is nothing but a FDR socialist controlled operation to have the government control your life as you get older.

The democrats, throughout history, did not get the “big things” right. They fought against Civil Rights. In case you have forgotten, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a REPUBLICAN as was his father. It was the Republicans that fought against slavery. The Democrats supported it. It was the Democrats that started the KKK. The Republicans fought against them. It was a democrat president that segregated the US military. It was the NC Democratic party that sectioned the white riot in Wilmington, NC (the Wilmington Race Riot of 1898) and passed the “Jim Crow” laws in NC. So much for democrats caring about racial equality. As for the Medicare and Medicaid and their bloated programs, I don’t think I would be doing much bragging. The massive amount of paperwork and people developed to support these programs should be an embarrassment to anyone involved. The doctors and hospitals say “this will cost $X” to save a live or improve the quality of a person’s life, but the government bean counters say “we will only pay you half $X”, so who is putting a price on a person’s life here? If the doctor or hospital say “we can not do it for that amount” (not will not, but cannot) the bean counters say “we are not paying any more”. So the doctor or hospital will work to save the life, but the doctor or hospital is no longer free. Being forced to work for what the government dictates has turned them, doctors and hospitals, into serfs or servants without the right to sell their skills on the open market. And the democrats want more of this bloated actions and government control with their “health care program”.

I cannot believe that anyone, including Mr. Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party, would have anything to say about the new Speaker of the House after the dictatorial action of the possible psychotic, botox addicted, crazy eyed, shrilled voice, pro-socialist, pro-Marxist, anti American and anti-capitalist Nancy Pelosi. If she and Sen. Harry Reid had their way we would have a socialist economy controlled by the unions with a Marxist government and under the thumb of the UN.

Kenneth W. Humphrey’s (Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party) attack on the relationship between the conservatives in this country and President Ronald Reagan is at best ludicrous. Did President Ronald Reagan do things that the “far right” conservatives didn’t like? I am sure there were some things. Like when he tried to work with the democrats and they kept trying to force their extreme leftist agenda, but they never doubted his love for this country. President Obama’s love towards this country has been doubted from the very start. The deficit President Ronald Reagan had to run up was partly to repair the military the democrat Jimmy Carter had worked so hard to destroy. Were we a stronger country when Jimmy carter left office? NO. Were we a stronger nation when President Ronald Reagan left office? YES!

Bill Maher? Why would anyone bring a leftist comic that has falling ratings into any rational conversation? Why would anyone care what he has to say? And considering Mr. Maher has stated his hate for the Bible and Christians and President Ronald Reagan we can expect nothing worthwhile from him. Mr. Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party I would think real hard before I used his name, Bill Maher, in any more letters or conversations unless you are trying to sway someone away from God the Almighty, Jesus and the Constitution of the United states of America. And it is not just Christians, Bill Maher hates all religions.

If you want to discuss the stock market, please remember that it was going up the last 6 months when President George H. W. Bush was running for office, but the democrats and liberal media lied and claimed the recession that followed the Gulf War was still going on. To the best of my knowledge there is always a recession following a large military action. This one was very short and the economy was raising. BUT it was falling the last 8 months that Clinton was in office and the democrats claimed it was good and going up. How does that figure? It was not Clinton’s fault, it was just the dot-com bubble busting. As for the last 6 months GWB was in office, the democrats had been in control of Congress for 18 months before that and President George W. Bush had tried many times to get them to do something about the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mea problems, but they had refused. So when the housing market went south and it hit the stock exchange due to the use of bundled sub-prime mortgages the banks were FORCED by the democrats in congress to give out, the economy dropped. I am no fan of President George W. Bush but he did warn them what was going to happen and asked for the changes to be made, but they turned their back on him. Then they tried to blame President George W. Bush for their failures to take corrective action. The “power dive” that Mr. Kenneth W. Humphrey - Chairman Carteret County Democrat Party refers to was increased by the actions of the unqualified, America hating, pro-socialist, Marxist trained, self important, arrogant, tool of the left that was elected president, President Barrack Hessian Obama and his admitted communist advisors.

I could go on and on, but let me just point out a few things quickly. Michelle Bachmann is NOT the leader of the TEA party. She is a member of a congressional caucus. BIG difference. Gov. Sarah Palin is NOT the leader of the Republican Party. She is one voice among many that is calling out for change. Yes, she is very visible. Maybe that is because the people like what they hear and believe what she says.

President Barrack Hessian Obama has NO leadership ability. I don’t think he has the ability to lead a group of people out of a burning building with the doors open and the lights on unless a teleprompter told him the way! So I will end this by saying that every time I see him standing there with his chin pointing at the sky and his arrogant nose in the air I think of the photos I have seen in history books of Mussolini and how he, Mussolini, was also a big fan of government control and socialist economies.

TO THE EDITOR:

Free speech comes a real cost today: A bullet in the head, for instance. You have to admire a good clean headshot, done with gun control (using both hands). This is the lexicon of macho NRA gun lovers everywhere. He was all man. Who cannot admire a real man with a gun, or better still, a “real woman” — a former governor for instance, who can shoot an 80-year old blind moose with arthritis and bad knees with an NRA howitzer? “I dropped that sucker in his tracks!” An Annie Oakley from Wasilla! Men adore her. Sarah is a real woman in a world of real men. The icon and new normal in 2011. “We need to get our America back!” I tear up just thinking of it. All government is evil. All liberals are socialist, etc.

Shakespeare in 1592 seemed prescient, describing our political environment today: Chaos. We are edging closer. Crosshairs and words have consequences. Our Sarah: Don’t retreat. Reload! Blood libel!

Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair America, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge breaks to new mutiny,
Where civil hands, make civil blood unclean.

I can agree, to a point, with David Brooks, New York Times: “Political opportunism occasioned by this Arizona tragedy has ranged from the completely irrelevant to the shamelessly irresponsible.” There is no clear link to the Tea Party rage or the extreme right wing. But that is an over-simplification — a ho-hum — partly absolving those who stir hate every day: Hate radio hosts. Notice I did not say Talk Radio. But my issue with hate radio and the ilk of Limbaugh and Beck and Palin is already public record. So in this missive my position is consistent with my past. Beck, Palin, Bachmann and Limbaugh are those who fan hate in America. My opinion.

Gabrielle Giffords, her husband a Navy pilot and astronaut, read the First Amendment on the House floor — including the guarantee of “the right of the people to assemble peaceably” — and then went home to Arizona to put those words into practice. Her meetings were under the banner, “Congressional Corner.” She was gravely wounded by a young man filled with hate, a gun obtained in the most lenient state in the nation for qualifying to buy gun. Arizona NRA test: “Sir, do you have a pulse? Excellent! Here’s your automatic. Congratulations. The NRA welcomes you into the fold of Super American Patriots.” The NRA is the great enabler. Put your own meaning to this. Sell all the guns and ammo you can. Strap on your gun. Strut in public. Be macho man among boys: “I pack. Dida’ notice?” N.C. Rep. Heath Shuler packs. A bullet to the head of those who disagree with you is an efficient way to express extreme irritation. A 30-round Glock is excellent for taking out women congressmen, liberal judges and 9-year olds.

NRA? Not a peep. All hunkered in the weeds, sucking their thumbs, nervously wondering: “Now what?”

Note below some quotes from some of our self-ordained, far right conservative patriots. Did you miss these?

Michele Bachmann: “I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous because we need to fight back.”

Momma Grizzly: “Guys, let’s not retreat. Let’s reload.” Sarah Palin put crosshairs on Giffords.

Glenn Beck: “I’m thinking about killing Michael Moore, I would like to kill him. I’m wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could.” (Glenn is such a straight talker).

Sharon Angel: “You know if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies. (Guns). I’ll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out!”

Rush Limbaugh: “You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray [confessed assassin of Martin Luther King]. We miss you dearly, James. Godspeed, sir.” Limbaugh: Conservatives hero.

I mean let’s face it. We didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back. I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.” Folks, isn’t that Rushbo-boy something else? He nails it!

I could fill page after page with public quotes of the hate, bigotry, racism spewed daily by conservative hate show hosts. Are most of the conservative talk show hosts haters? Are most of them racist bigots flying under the sanctimonious flag of “Patriots”? Answer the question for yourself. Listen to their own words! They have an intense dislike of anyone “who is not like us: You know, all them people who talk funny.” Foreigners? Like Kenyans? They hate Kenyans with a passion!

Arizona, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik had it right. He is one courageous, truth-talking law officer. It is amazing when you talk truth about hate show hosts. They can’t stand it! They will unleash a wild-eyed, shocked defense of their hate-filled programs, their daily invectives. They rage: “You cannot publicly quote us — as we are!” Apparently, bad manners? Or did Sheriff Dupnik tell it exactly like it is? The prevailing first response, attitude to criticism for quoting them is this (Glenn Beck style): “Somebody needs to take that SOB out!” … for committing “the crime” of quoting them in public. See quotes above — again, please.

I have a hope that soon, very soon, that “Great Silent Majority” will step forward and say ENOUGH! Those who have until now stood quietly, silently on the sidelines, must act now with their words and letters to congressmen, to newspapers. Until now this GSM has only watched this angry, noisy, sanctimonious and at times scripture-quoting, hate-filled minority of the “far extreme right” that has co-opted headlines and airwaves recently. I hope good rational people will finally say: “Enough is enough” and begin to push back with words, letters and calls to Congress. My observation of the Great Silent Majority has been they don’t like to get involved, or as one friend told me: “I don’t like to draw attention to myself. Many of these people are dangerous.” All I can say is it is time for YOU to stand up. We have to be voices of reason, against their hate. Against their guns.   (Yes, Mr. Humphrey only hates anyone who disagrees with him or other leftists!)

God knows, since the age of 11 I have had guns, still do, and have hunted and fished. But I don’t worship the damned things. With continued silence, passivity, we stand to lose a lot in the coming years. Act now. Call, write your congressman. Do it! Last: Where is our clergy in all this?

Actions: Following my own advice, send your letter of concern, complaint about the hate-filled rhetoric of the conservative hate radio to me at: Push Back at Hate, P.O. Box 4084, Emerald Isle, N.C. 28594. I will hand carry these letters to Capitol Hill, to NRA Headquarters, to the Washington offices of Arizona Republican Sen. Kyle, and Arizona Congressman Trent Franks. The courageous outspoken sheriff of Pima County had it right. At least you can write one letter, make a call. How long will you just stand by?

Resonse to Letter from Kenneth Humphrey “Tombstone Politics - Legacy of Hate” Jan 16 2010.

Sir / Ms,

I would suggest you have one of the copy personnel do fact checks on any future letters from Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party. This last one is full of misinformation that takes only a moment or two to check and correct. Why would he do this? I don’t know. Maybe to use the tragic shooting even in Arizona to some political agenda. Being a democrat he doesn’t need to check his facts for that.

First he somehow equates the murders in Arizona with “Freedom of Speech”. In no way do these 2 match up. The shooter in Arizona was not a supporter of free speech. The reports are that among his favorite books were Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” and Marx’s “The Communist Manifesto”. This would place his beliefs in the area of the Communist Party and the Nazi (National Socialist Worker’s Party) Party which are totally against freedom of speech. The people that knew him say he was mostly apolitical but did have some “left” leanings. So with his desire for a socialist economy and control of the individual by the government doesn’t that put him way to the left of the TEA party groups? After all they, conservatives, believe in Freedom of speech.

Then he insults all hunters around the nation. I don’t understand that, what with him saying later in the letter that he is a hunter and owns firearms. If he is a hunter, and I am not saying he isn’t, I would think he would understand the need to use the correct firearm for the hunt and the animal to be harvested. I would also think he would know a moose does not live to be 80 and that no one hunts with a howitzer. Maybe he is being sarcastic about the use of a large bore firearm to take down a very large animal. Also I don’t recall Sarah Palin shooting a moose anyway. I do remember seeing her harvest a caribou. Maybe I didn’t see the show where she was moose hunting. Or maybe Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party doesn’t know the difference or was just passing on misinformation he got from his masters at the DNC and did not bother checking out his facts.

Why he tried to tie the shooting in Arizona in with the NRA I do not know. The NRA has worked with law enforcement nation wide to help develop rational laws to prevent firearms from getting into the hands of felons, people with a violent history or the mentally unstable. Arizona has such laws. The owner of the gun shop obeyed the laws. The Sheriff of Pimi County did not. If Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik had done his job correctly there would have been notations on the shooter’s files that would have prevented his buying a firearm from any gun shop in Arizona. It is my understanding the Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik knew the family and law enforcement had been to their home on several occasions because of the actions of the “alleged” shooter. None of this was on his record and any of it may have been enough to stop his buying a firearm. As for the campus cops at his local college, they should have called the police and seen the proper report was made about his actions at the school. Everyone claims to have known he was dangerous, but none took the action to see he got help or actions to protect the public. And you know something? The NRA was not involved an any of it, other then to help craft the laws needed to keep firearms out of the hands of felons, people with a violent history or the mentally unstable. So how do you hold the NRA responsible?

Then Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party finds fault with Gov. Palin saying that the conservatives should not retreat from their beliefs, but should reload with the truth, new people and votes to confront the liberals and Marxists that won the last Presidential election. I don’t seem to recall his having any objections when the left marched in the streets of DC calling for the death of Carl Rove. No objections to that from any democrat or other liberal as I recall. Gov. Palin calls for people to stand strong in their beliefs and the left calls for the murder of Carl Rove and you find fault with Gov. Palin? I don’t think I had ever heard of the term “blood libel’ before, but then I never looked for a way to hurt the Jewish people. As for Gov. Palin’s use of the term, I understand that according to Jewish leaders the term has been used over the years in ways other then the one it was first used for and has entered to language to be used in a different way then first intended. I understand that a Jewish leader, who is a democrat, stated that the way she used it was correct in the context used. So now Gov. Palin can’t speak unless it is cleared through the DNC first? What happened to the freedom of Speech Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party was so desirous of?

Then Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party tries to tie the TEA party and conservative talk radio to the shooter, but everyone that know him says he did not listen to conservative talk radio and was not connected to the TEA Party movement in any way. I still don’t understand why he has to address conservative talk radio as HATE radio when they do NOT call for violence in any way. Their speech is political. Mostly when race is address their call is for all racial divisions to stop and people to be addressed as individuals. Where is the hate in that? Is it hateful to help educate people about bills in congress and actions elected officials have taken that are seen as an abuse to the taxpayers and citizens? Is it hateful to call for the laws to be enforced? Is it hateful to see laws passed that are in their opinion an action against the Constitution and they call for people to know about it and be better informed? No, they are HATE radio because they do not knell down and side with the democrats, socialist and Marxist on the left.

As for Mr. Kenneth Humphrey’s, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party, comment about Glenn Beck saying “I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore” that was sarcasm. Do you understand that? He was using this sarcastic statement to show he could not do that because of his belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. He went on to say that he would not condone any violence. But then the democrats did try to trash him for holding a non-political rally in Washington DC to call for peace and national unity and discussion. WOW! He calls for “civil dialogue” and your democrats and other leftist trash him.

As for the comments made by Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party about Rush Limbaugh praising James earl Ray and slavery, it took me less then 2 minute to find out that was a lie that the democrats and others on the left have been trying to spread for over a year. It also took the same amount of time to find out that Mr. Limbaugh is not letting this lie go by unchallenged and has taken legal action against others in the past. I thought Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party would like the chance to bring this up to Mr. Limbaugh’s legal staff so I sent him an e-mail with the link to the letter. Maybe Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party would be kind enough to let us know what happens. Personally I think that with Mr. Limbaugh, being the better man, may just look at the source (Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party) and let it pass this time.

Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party states he can fill pages with hate and racism and bigotry from conservative radio, which he calls HATE radio, but it seems that almost all of it I have seen put out by those on the left have been lies, satire or taken so far out of context that people have trouble finding where they came from. There should be a fact checker on this to keep them from embarrassing themselves. On the other hand I will not sit here and type all the racist and hate filled statements I have heard from the left. I don’t keep a list. I look at the source and disregard them.

And someone needs to let Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party know that Sheriff Clarence Dupnik of Pimi County did not know what he was talking about. He was just trying cover his backside by misdirecting peoples attention from his department’s failure to do their job correctly. That and he, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik of Pimi County, is a anti-2nd amendment democrat.

The rest of the rant Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party has going on I just don’t understand. It just seems to me that he, like so many on the left, are going to take this opportunity to place as many restrictions as they can on freedom of speech and conservative talk radio. What they have called for in the past is that it be mandatory for a commercial radio station to carry an equal amount of time for all points of view even if the listeners don’t want to hear the communist that are on Air America radio and even if they can‘t get a sponsor for them. And listeners have shown they don’t want to hear them because they went bankrupt. If they want to hear the socialist and Marxist view they can tune into PBS or NPR. These are the ones we are FORCED to help pay for.

So Mr. Kenneth Humphrey, Chairman of the Carteret County Democrat Party and other people on the left are going to use this tragic shooting to force an agenda no one wants and will use lies, misinformation and misdirection to do so. Shame on them.

WORLD NET DAILY: Just Plain Nuts

Watchdog: ACORN bankruptcy a 'hoax'

Analyst says radical group plans to come back under a new name

November 05, 2010

By Brian Fitzpatrick

© 2010 WorldNetDaily

WASHINGTON – ACORN's self-reported death has been greatly exaggerated, according to a political analyst who's been studying the radical community activist group for two years.

CEO Bertha Lewis announced on Election Day that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now is declaring bankruptcy, but ACORN is already planning to reorganize under a new name, says analyst Matthew Vadum.

"This is a public relations head fake," Vadum told WND. "This is a hoax. ACORN did not die and will not die at the conclusion of the bankruptcy proceeding. ACORN thinks Americans are stupid."

ACORN did not respond to e-mailed requests for comment.

Vadum is a senior editor at the Capitol Research Center, a Washington, D.C., think tank that studies the politics of philanthropy with a special emphasis on left-wing activist groups.

"I've been tracking ACORN for more than two years, and CRC has been for more than 12 years," said Vadum.

He asserted that sources within ACORN have confirmed that the organization is not really planning to dissolve.

ACORN says on its website that its aim is "to organize a majority constituency of low- to moderate-income people across the United States ... to take on issues of relevance to their communities whether those issues are discrimination, affordable housing, a quality education, or better public services."

In her essay announcing the bankruptcy, Lewis wrote, "We fought bank redlining and predatory lending for decades, making the American dream of homeownership more universally available while protecting it against waves of abusive practices. We helped build a movement for a living wage, fought for stronger public schools, helped rebuild New Orleans after Katrina, and won countless improvements in neighborhoods. As recently as 2009, the organization saved affordable housing in New York, stood up to anti-immigrant racism in Arizona, and was fighting for real solutions to the foreclosure crisis."

But ACORN is not a benign social welfare organization, in Vadum's view.

"The group is all about corruption and about promoting big government by any means possible, in accordance with the teachings of the late Saul Alinsky," said Vadum.

The analyst pointed out that a board member of Project Vote, the ACORN affiliate President Obama worked for in the early 1990s, is noted radical professor Frances Fox Piven.

Piven, an honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, is one of the authors of the so-called Cloward-Piven strategy. The 1960s proposal sought to bring socialist revolution to the United States by flooding cities with welfare applicants, bankrupting them, and provoking an economic and political collapse.

The website Cloward-Piven.com attributes New York City's 1975 bankruptcy to the plan.

"These are dangerous radical people who don't believe in the American system," Vadum asserted.

"ACORN is a shell corporation that runs hundreds of nonprofit affiliates," Vadum told WND. "It is going bankrupt, but it's not going away, it is simply changing into a new legal form. ACORN is altering its organizational structure because the ACORN brand has been destroyed."

ACORN suffered two recent public relations disasters that crippled fundraising efforts, according to Vadum.

"The million-dollar embezzlement within the organization that was covered up in 2008, and the negative publicity that resulted, has caused large institutional donors like George Soros to stop funding it," Vadum explained.

"The final nail in ACORN's coffin was the undercover video project by the two conservative activists, Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe," said Vadum. "The undercover videos revealed that ACORN employees were willing to bend over backwards to help this couple, posing as a pimp and prostitute, to found brothels that would have been staffed with underage girls from El Salvador. So it was a brothel for pedophiles.

"These videos tore the mask off ACORN and allowed the American public to see what the group was all about."

Lame Duck Congress

Circumstances in the US today are like no other in our history.   Obama and Pelosi both are focused on pushing forward their Progressive/Socialist agenda.

Focus in the last two years has been on enacting legislation that will destroy our economy. No matter what Obama may say, I believe he is thrilled with the fact that so many people are now unemployed and dependent on our government.

This is exactly what Alinsky advocated and the Progressives want. Their next hope is that, in desperation, people become violent - so that they can initiate martial law.

After November 2nd, if we are successful in removing many of the incumbents, the Lame Duck session will be made up of many Representatives who "have nothing to lose" - as they will not be returning to the new session. Many dogmatically adhere to the Obama/Pelosi agenda.

Much legislative damage can be done in the Lame Duck session. These Representatives know that even if the new Congress succeeds in repealing this legislation, Obama will probably veto it. Overriding a veto is difficult.

Their agenda can still go forward.

We must be very careful that, in our "euphoria" with our success in removing incumbents, we do not ignore what will be occurring in our Congress. This is going to be a "dangerous" period.

We must be vigilant and immediately take action if we discover legislation that should not get passed. A priority will be to re-focus our energies on the Senators who are coming up for re-election in 2012:

Arizona - Kyl (R)
Nevada - Ensign (R)
California - Feinstein (D)
New Jersey - Menendez (D)
Connecticut - Lieberman (I)
New Mexico - Bingaman (D)
Delaware - Carper (D)
North Dakota - Conrad (D)
Florida - Nelson (D)
Ohio - Brown (D)
Hawaii - Akaka (D)
Pennsylvania - Casey, Jr. (D)
Indiana - Lugar (R)
Rhode Island - Whitehouse (D)
Maine - Snowe (R)
Tennessee - Corker (R)
Maryland - Cardin (D)
Utah - Hatch (R)
Michigan - Stabenow (D)
Vermont - Sanders (I)
Minnesota - Klobuchar (D)
Virginia - Webb (D)
Mississippi - Wicker (R)
Washington - Cantwell (D)
Missouri - McCaskill (D)
Wisconsin - Kohl (D)
Montana - Tester (D)
Wyoming - Barrasso (R)
Nebraska - Nelson (D)

19 Democrats - 8 Republicans - 2 Independents

Please let me know if I have made an error or omission with the above table.

Dreams from His Mother: Dinesh D’Souza on Obama

Dreams from His Mother: A Review of D’Souza, Dinesh (2010) The Roots of Obama’s Rage. Washington, D.C., Regnery.

Periodically there’s a rant about Obama and what he’s really up to but originality fades quickly. D’Souza is an exception, one praised by Newt Gingrich and damned by Robert Gibbs. D’Souza can be hard to read not because of his writing but because his perspective is so unique. He needed three tries to write this book and I needed three tries to read it but I all the while experienced “I’ll be damned, he’s right.”

Obama is first an “anti-colonialist” and second, a “socialist,” someone interested less in saving the poor but more in the accumulation of power. He is not “black” as an American black, descended from slaves. He took on that color and its traditions in order to acquire power. And ninety-one percent of American blacks still defend him as if he cared about them. He doesn’t. Remember, his view is internationalist and most of the world’s poor would be happy to share the flat-screens and hot dogs and beans enjoyed by American blacks. (Obama currently uses black support to chase his ambitions: Expect, therefore, blacks to be the especially angry once they discover his motives!)

He had a relatively privileged rearing in Hawaii, Indonesia, and again, Hawaii before coming to America when he was about seventeen years old. No surprise, his father and grandfather were anti-colonialist rebels in Kenya and his mother, “Stanley” Duncan (named after her father, she much later changed her first name to “Ann”) was also an anti-colonialist before she met Barack’s father. Once in America, Obama sought contacts with other foreign students and instruction from anti-colonialists such as Fanon, Said, Unger, and Ayers-Dohrn. And his curriculum and life at Columbia, about which he remains secretive, could have given him goals for taxes, regulation, reining in American business, and our access to fuel.

As an anti-colonialist, Obama’s goals for America involve the concentration of power in Washington, encouraging energy development in Asia and in the southern hemisphere (including Mexico and Brazil) while interfering with domestic production in the United States, disarming America’s military, imposing competitive handicaps on American business, and weakening our traditional alliances with Europe, South Korea, Japan, and Israel, and a non-committal war and withdrawal from Afghanistan and Pakistan.

“Colonialist” is usually applied to Europeans and Americans who take labor and resources from underdeveloped countries, typically in Africa and Asia and is often seen as a “boot-to the-throat” of developing nations. For example, the Dutch, Germans, French, and English disrupted traditional African cultures in ways that profited the Dutch, Germans, French, and English but not the Africans.

Obama may be an American citizen but was reared in Hawaii and Indonesia. Hawaii, a state, however, was also a recent, not particularly happy addition to our union.

The Dreams from His Mother

Living creatures collect, build, and arrange their environments. Furthermore, the case of humans, heritability increases from our conception to our deaths for most traits that have been investigated because we find friends, mates, and properties that align with our biology. We each become more unique with each passing decade and live on self-chosen islands of similar people.

The influences of natural parents remain strong even if we are separated from them early and never see them again! Obama’s natural father was a political activist, writer, socialist, and anti-colonialist in Kenya. Obama, in elementary school, really saw the man only once when he gave a talk to one of Obama’s classes. Everyone, teachers and students and especially Obama, were inspired by that presentation. The second contact occurred when Obama was 26 and visited the man’s grave in Kenya. Dad, labeled as “straaaaange” by one of Ann’s relatives, was a polygamist (eight children from three wives plus a fourth wife-to-be), a political failure, an alcoholic, an erratic driver who died when drunk and colliding with a tree trunk, and who called himself “Doctor” when he had no degrees.

Ann “Stanley” Duncan Obama Soetero was also strange. She accepted a man’s name while growing up, was a political activist in Hawaii and Indonesia, thrived best when she lived in primitive conditions, and furiously denied that whites were “her people.” She took Obama away from the influence of her second husband, Lolo Soetero, because he, with time, became ever more pro-American. Obama’s anti-American beliefs are perhaps more a gift from his mother than from his father!

Obama – “Dangerously Delusional”: Mark Steyn

Dinesh D’Souza is Obama’s age and shares his background. D’Souza was reared in India and surrounded by colonialism’s legacies. D’Souza eventually became President of King’s College in Manhattan, has written ten books, and is pro-American and pro-colonialism. Although his grandfather was a coolie laying railroad track in Kenya, D’Souza finds that most nations have benefited from their European intruders.

Similar backgrounds for these two men had different outcomes but psychiatry gives us a clue for this puzzle: “Paranoid Schizophrenia” may be applied to individuals with strongly-held, culturally atypical beliefs. This form of schizophrenia is not characterized by word salad, confusion, bizarre costumes, ambivalence, and blatant, bizarre emotional displays but by unusual persistence in very specific things. These people become angry, strident, and sometimes violent when contradicted. These folks get into creative religions, political movements, diets, and extraterrestrial visitors. (Mr. Gore comes to mind as well as our president, people you know in the next block, and people who call Coast to Coast.)

Thus, Obama’s aloofness, alienation, and love for power are consistent with his parents’ background as are some of his exploits – voting “present” in the Congress, the bird and columns he brought into his campaign, his speech in Berlin, his frequent vacations, self-referential thinking, bending facts to fit his story, spending habits, teleprompters, his missing label pin and missing hand over his heart during the pledge, and his impressive collection of secretive, scheming associates who were and are also anti-colonialists.

These traits can be aggravated by cocaine.

Bottom line from D’Souza: “Be very afraid.”

Charlie Daniels Letter to the President

An Open Letter to President Obama

By Charlie Daniels
Fri, 09/24/2010

I write this letter as a patriot, a taxpayer, a lifelong resident and as concerned citizen of what I consider to be the greatest nation ever known to man, the United States of America.

I am Caucasian, so let’s get the racial aspect out of the way to start with. This letter has nothing to do with your race. I lived through the cruelty of Jim Crow and segregation and learned early on in my life that the color of my skin does not make me better or worse than any other man.

We all remember Martin Luther King, Jr.’s statement about judging people, not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character, and I believe that with all my heart.

I believe that America is an exceptional country. We have been liberator, benefactor and leader of the free world for centuries. America is an example of what can be achieved by free people living under the free enterprise system.

We have led the world in technology, industry, science and medicine for a long time.

Our capitalist system guarantees that those who explore new worlds and bring us new products and better techniques are amply rewarded for their efforts, and this is as it should be.

A person who is the first one to get there and the last one to leave, who burns the midnight oil and never gives up until they realize their goals, are a boon to humankind. They’re the ones who discover new cures, start new industries and create jobs.

These people deserve to be rewarded for their hard work and for the products and services they bring to make life better for all mankind.

Mr. President, it is my personal opinion that you want to take the well-earned rewards of these people and give it to those who have done nothing to deserve them.

It’s really redistribution of wealth, and it’s nothing new. It’s been tried many places before and it has miserably failed in every one of them.

It’s called socialism.

Am I calling you a socialist? Yes, I am. I firmly believe that you are a socialist and a globalist, and that you think America should have a comeuppance and have our playing field leveled to match those of other countries not as industrious or as innovative as we are.

Mr. President, how can you support the building of a mosque in the very same area where Islamic radicals murdered so many Americans?

Just who’s side are you on?

Am I accusing you of being a Muslim? No I’m not, but the jury is still out a little bit on that subject in my mind, because many times your sympathies seem to lean in that direction. You need to watch who you bow to Mr. President.

You have betrayed a whole generation of African-Americans who voted for you because they really believed all that junk about “hope and change,” they really thought you were going to do something great and the only thing you’ve done is to make their jobs disappear and their health insurance go up.

You and your party have corrupted duly elected officials in an effort to get your legislative agenda passed. Remember the “Louisiana Purchase” and the “Cornhusker Kickback,” and that’s just a couple we know about, but you bought off a bunch of congressmen and senators, knowing that you were going against the will of the majority of Americans, because you think that you and your arrogant friends know more about what’s good for America than the citizens your disastrous actions effect.

Am I accusing you of being an elitist? You bet.

I don’t believe you take the Islamic threat to America nearly as seriously as you should. You use semantics like “Overseas Contingency Operation” and “Man Caused Disasters” to soften your rhetoric toward people who would like nothing better than decapitate the entire population of America.

And Mr. President, if you’d really like to know the kind of warriors who are fighting the “Overseas Contingency Operation,” and you would like to really know about what kind of enemies they’re fighting, you should read a book called Lone Survivor by a brave, young Navy Seal named Marcus Lutrell who went to hell and back for his country, and is still a dedicated patriot. I think you’d find it enlightening, Mr. President and after you finish it would you pass it on to Janet Napolitano? And by the way, tell her that my invitation to take her to Iraq and show her some “Man Caused Disasters” is still open.

Am I calling you naĂŻve? Absolutely.

You seem to think that America has an endless supply of tax dollars for you to waste and give away, and the debt you’ve piled up could well bankrupt the greatest nation on earth.

Am I calling you a failure, Mr. President? With all due respect that’s exactly what I’m doing.

How Obama Thinks

Dinesh D'Souza, 09.09.10, 05:40 PM EDT
Forbes Magazine dated September 27, 2010

The President isn't exactly a socialist. So what's driving his hostility to private enterprise? Look to his roots.

Barack Obama is the most antibusiness president in a generation, perhaps in American history. Thanks to him the era of big government is back. Obama runs up taxpayer debt not in the billions but in the trillions. He has expanded the federal government's control over home mortgages, investment banking, health care, autos and energy. The Weekly Standard summarizes Obama's approach as omnipotence at home, impotence abroad.

The President's actions are so bizarre that they mystify his critics and supporters alike. Consider this headline from the Aug. 18, 2009 issue of the Wall Street Journal: "Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling." Did you read that correctly? You did. The Administration supports offshore drilling--but drilling off the shores of Brazil. With Obama's backing, the U.S. Export-Import Bank offered $2 billion in loans and guarantees to Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras to finance exploration in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro--not so the oil ends up in the U.S. He is funding Brazilian exploration so that the oil can stay in Brazil.

More strange behavior: Obama's June 15, 2010 speech in response to the Gulf oil spill focused not on cleanup strategies but rather on the fact that Americans "consume more than 20% of the world's oil but have less than 2% of the world's resources." Obama railed on about "America's century-long addiction to fossil fuels." What does any of this have to do with the oil spill? Would the calamity have been less of a problem if America consumed a mere 10% of the world's resources?

The oddities go on and on. Obama's Administration has declared that even banks that want to repay their bailout money may be refused permission to do so. Only after the Obama team cleared a bank through the Fed's "stress test" was it eligible to give taxpayers their money back. Even then, declared Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, the Administration might force banks to keep the money.

The President continues to push for stimulus even though hundreds of billions of dollars in such funds seem to have done little. The unemployment rate when Obama took office in January 2009 was 7.7%; now it is 9.5%. Yet he wants to spend even more and is determined to foist the entire bill on Americans making $250,000 a year or more. The rich, Obama insists, aren't paying their "fair share." This by itself seems odd given that the top 1% of Americans pay 40% of all federal income taxes; the next 9% of income earners pay another 30%. So the top 10% pays 70% of the taxes; the bottom 40% pays close to nothing. This does indeed seem unfair--to the rich.

Obama's foreign policy is no less strange. He supports a $100 million mosque scheduled to be built near the site where terrorists in the name of Islam brought down the World Trade Center. Obama's rationale, that "our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable," seems utterly irrelevant to the issue of why the proposed Cordoba House should be constructed at Ground Zero.

Recently the London Times reported that the Obama Administration supported the conditional release of Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the Lockerbie bomber convicted in connection with the deaths of 270 people, mostly Americans. This was an eye-opener because when Scotland released Megrahi from prison and sent him home to Libya in August 2009, the Obama Administration publicly and appropriately complained. The Times, however, obtained a letter the Obama Administration sent to Scotland a week before the event in which it said that releasing Megrahi on "compassionate grounds" was acceptable as long as he was kept in Scotland and would be "far preferable" to sending him back to Libya. Scottish officials interpreted this to mean that U.S. objections to Megrahi's release were "half-hearted." They released him to his home country, where he lives today as a free man.

One more anomaly: A few months ago nasa Chief Charles Bolden announced that from now on the primary mission of America's space agency would be to improve relations with the Muslim world. Come again? Bolden said he got the word directly from the President. "He wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science and math and engineering." Bolden added that the International Space Station was a model for nasa's future, since it was not just a U.S. operation but included the Russians and the Chinese. Obama's redirection of the agency caused consternation among former astronauts like Neil Armstrong and John Glenn, and even among the President's supporters: Most people think of nasa's job as one of landing on the moon and Mars and exploring other faraway destinations. Sure, we are for Islamic self-esteem, but what on earth was Obama up to here?

Theories abound to explain the President's goals and actions. Critics in the business community--including some Obama voters who now have buyer's remorse--tend to focus on two main themes. The first is that Obama is clueless about business. The second is that Obama is a socialist--not an out-and-out Marxist, but something of a European-style socialist, with a penchant for leveling and government redistribution.

These theories aren't wrong so much as they are inadequate. Even if they could account for Obama's domestic policy, they cannot explain his foreign policy. The real problem with Obama is worse--much worse. But we have been blinded to his real agenda because, across the political spectrum, we all seek to fit him into some version of American history. In the process, we ignore Obama's own history. Here is a man who spent his formative years--the first 17 years of his life--off the American mainland, in Hawaii, Indonesia and Pakistan, with multiple subsequent journeys to Africa.

A good way to discern what motivates Obama is to ask a simple question: What is his dream? Is it the American dream? Is it Martin Luther King's dream? Or something else?

It is certainly not the American dream as conceived by the founders. They believed the nation was a "new order for the ages." A half-century later Alexis de Tocqueville wrote of America as creating "a distinct species of mankind." This is known as American exceptionalism. But when asked at a 2009 press conference whether he believed in this ideal, Obama said no. America, he suggested, is no more unique or exceptional than Britain or Greece or any other country.

Perhaps, then, Obama shares Martin Luther King's dream of a color-blind society. The President has benefited from that dream; he campaigned as a nonracial candidate, and many Americans voted for him because he represents the color-blind ideal. Even so, King's dream is not Obama's: The President never champions the idea of color-blindness or race-neutrality. This inaction is not merely tactical; the race issue simply isn't what drives Obama.

What then is Obama's dream? We don't have to speculate because the President tells us himself in his autobiography, Dreams from My Father. According to Obama, his dream is his father's dream. Notice that his title is not Dreams of My Father but rather Dreams from My Father. Obama isn't writing about his father's dreams; he is writing about the dreams he received from his father.

So who was Barack Obama Sr.? He was a Luo tribesman who grew up in Kenya and studied at Harvard. He was a polygamist who had, over the course of his lifetime, four wives and eight children. One of his sons, Mark Obama, has accused him of abuse and wife-beating. He was also a regular drunk driver who got into numerous accidents, killing a man in one and causing his own legs to be amputated due to injury in another. In 1982 he got drunk at a bar in Nairobi and drove into a tree, killing himself.

An odd choice, certainly, as an inspirational hero. But to his son, the elder Obama represented a great and noble cause, the cause of anticolonialism. Obama Sr. grew up during Africa's struggle to be free of European rule, and he was one of the early generation of Africans chosen to study in America and then to shape his country's future.

I know a great deal about anticolonialism, because I am a native of Mumbai, India. I am part of the first Indian generation to be born after my country's independence from the British. Anticolonialism was the rallying cry of Third World politics for much of the second half of the 20th century. To most Americans, however, anticolonialism is an unfamiliar idea, so let me explain it.

Anticolonialism is the doctrine that rich countries of the West got rich by invading, occupying and looting poor countries of Asia, Africa and South America. As one of Obama's acknowledged intellectual influences, Frantz Fanon, wrote in The Wretched of the Earth, "The well-being and progress of Europe have been built up with the sweat and the dead bodies of Negroes, Arabs, Indians and the yellow races."

Anticolonialists hold that even when countries secure political independence they remain economically dependent on their former captors. This dependence is called neocolonialism, a term defined by the African statesman Kwame Nkrumah (1909--72) in his book Neocolonialism: The Last Stage of Imperialism. Nkrumah, Ghana's first president, writes that poor countries may be nominally free, but they continue to be manipulated from abroad by powerful corporate and plutocratic elites. These forces of neocolonialism oppress not only Third World people but also citizens in their own countries. Obviously the solution is to resist and overthrow the oppressors. This was the anticolonial ideology of Barack Obama Sr. and many in his generation, including many of my own relatives in India.

Obama Sr. was an economist, and in 1965 he published an important article in the East Africa Journal called "Problems Facing Our Socialism." Obama Sr. wasn't a doctrinaire socialist; rather, he saw state appropriation of wealth as a necessary means to achieve the anticolonial objective of taking resources away from the foreign looters and restoring them to the people of Africa. For Obama Sr. this was an issue of national autonomy. "Is it the African who owns this country? If he does, then why should he not control the economic means of growth in this country?"

As he put it, "We need to eliminate power structures that have been built through excessive accumulation so that not only a few individuals shall control a vast magnitude of resources as is the case now." The senior Obama proposed that the state confiscate private land and raise taxes with no upper limit. In fact, he insisted that "theoretically there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed."

Remarkably, President Obama, who knows his father's history very well, has never mentioned his father's article. Even more remarkably, there has been virtually no reporting on a document that seems directly relevant to what the junior Obama is doing in the White House.

While the senior Obama called for Africa to free itself from the neocolonial influence of Europe and specifically Britain, he knew when he came to America in 1959 that the global balance of power was shifting. Even then, he recognized what has become a new tenet of anticolonialist ideology: Today's neocolonial leader is not Europe but America. As the late Palestinian scholar Edward Said--who was one of Obama's teachers at Columbia University--wrote in Culture and Imperialism, "The United States has replaced the earlier great empires and is the dominant outside force."

From the anticolonial perspective, American imperialism is on a rampage. For a while, U.S. power was checked by the Soviet Union, but since the end of the Cold War, America has been the sole superpower. Moreover, 9/11 provided the occasion for America to invade and occupy two countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, and also to seek political and economic domination in the same way the French and the British empires once did. So in the anticolonial view, America is now the rogue elephant that subjugates and tramples the people of the world.

It may seem incredible to suggest that the anticolonial ideology of Barack Obama Sr. is espoused by his son, the President of the United States. That is what I am saying. From a very young age and through his formative years, Obama learned to see America as a force for global domination and destruction. He came to view America's military as an instrument of neocolonial occupation. He adopted his father's position that capitalism and free markets are code words for economic plunder. Obama grew to perceive the rich as an oppressive class, a kind of neocolonial power within America. In his worldview, profits are a measure of how effectively you have ripped off the rest of society, and America's power in the world is a measure of how selfishly it consumes the globe's resources and how ruthlessly it bullies and dominates the rest of the planet.

For Obama, the solutions are simple. He must work to wring the neocolonialism out of America and the West. And here is where our anticolonial understanding of Obama really takes off, because it provides a vital key to explaining not only his major policy actions but also the little details that no other theory can adequately account for.

Why support oil drilling off the coast of Brazil but not in America? Obama believes that the West uses a disproportionate share of the world's energy resources, so he wants neocolonial America to have less and the former colonized countries to have more. More broadly, his proposal for carbon taxes has little to do with whether the planet is getting warmer or colder; it is simply a way to penalize, and therefore reduce, America's carbon consumption. Both as a U.S. Senator and in his speech, as President, to the United Nations, Obama has proposed that the West massively subsidize energy production in the developing world.

Rejecting the socialist formula, Obama has shown no intention to nationalize the investment banks or the health sector. Rather, he seeks to decolonize these institutions, and this means bringing them under the government's leash. That's why Obama retains the right to refuse bailout paybacks--so that he can maintain his control. For Obama, health insurance companies on their own are oppressive racketeers, but once they submitted to federal oversight he was happy to do business with them. He even promised them expanded business as a result of his law forcing every American to buy health insurance.

If Obama shares his father's anticolonial crusade, that would explain why he wants people who are already paying close to 50% of their income in overall taxes to pay even more. The anticolonialist believes that since the rich have prospered at the expense of others, their wealth doesn't really belong to them; therefore whatever can be extracted from them is automatically just. Recall what Obama Sr. said in his 1965 paper: There is no tax rate too high, and even a 100% rate is justified under certain circumstances.

Obama supports the Ground Zero mosque because to him 9/11 is the event that unleashed the American bogey and pushed us into Iraq and Afghanistan. He views some of the Muslims who are fighting against America abroad as resisters of U.S. imperialism. Certainly that is the way the Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi portrayed himself at his trial. Obama's perception of him as an anticolonial resister would explain why he gave tacit approval for this murderer of hundreds of Americans to be released from captivity.

Finally, nasa. No explanation other than anticolonialism makes sense of Obama's curious mandate to convert a space agency into a Muslim and international outreach. We can see how well our theory works by recalling the moon landing of Apollo 11 in 1969. "One small step for man," Neil Armstrong said. "One giant leap for mankind."

But that's not how the rest of the world saw it. I was 8 years old at the time and living in my native India. I remember my grandfather telling me about the great race between America and Russia to put a man on the moon. Clearly America had won, and this was one giant leap not for mankind but for the U.S. If Obama shares this view, it's no wonder he wants to blunt nasa's space program, to divert it from a symbol of American greatness into a more modest public relations program.

Clearly the anticolonial ideology of Barack Obama Sr. goes a long way to explain the actions and policies of his son in the Oval Office. And we can be doubly sure about his father's influence because those who know Obama well testify to it. His "granny" Sarah Obama (not his real grandmother but one of his grandfather's other wives) told Newsweek, "I look at him and I see all the same things--he has taken everything from his father. The son is realizing everything the father wanted. The dreams of the father are still alive in the son."

In his own writings Obama stresses the centrality of his father not only to his beliefs and values but to his very identity. He calls his memoir "the record of a personal, interior journey--a boy's search for his father and through that search a workable meaning for his life as a black American." And again, "It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself." Even though his father was absent for virtually all his life, Obama writes, "My father's voice had nevertheless remained untainted, inspiring, rebuking, granting or withholding approval. You do not work hard enough, Barry. You must help in your people's struggle. Wake up, black man!"

The climax of Obama's narrative is when he goes to Kenya and weeps at his father's grave. It is riveting: "When my tears were finally spent," he writes, "I felt a calmness wash over me. I felt the circle finally close. I realized that who I was, what I cared about, was no longer just a matter of intellect or obligation, no longer a construct of words. I saw that my life in America--the black life, the white life, the sense of abandonment I'd felt as a boy, the frustration and hope I'd witnessed in Chicago--all of it was connected with this small piece of earth an ocean away, connected by more than the accident of a name or the color of my skin. The pain that I felt was my father's pain."

In an eerie conclusion, Obama writes that "I sat at my father's grave and spoke to him through Africa's red soil." In a sense, through the earth itself, he communes with his father and receives his father's spirit. Obama takes on his father's struggle, not by recovering his body but by embracing his cause. He decides that where Obama Sr. failed, he will succeed. Obama Sr.'s hatred of the colonial system becomes Obama Jr.'s hatred; his botched attempt to set the world right defines his son's objective. Through a kind of sacramental rite at the family tomb, the father's struggle becomes the son's birthright.

Colonialism today is a dead issue. No one cares about it except the man in the White House. He is the last anticolonial. Emerging market economies such as China, India, Chile and Indonesia have solved the problem of backwardness; they are exploiting their labor advantage and growing much faster than the U.S. If America is going to remain on top, we have to compete in an increasingly tough environment.

But instead of readying us for the challenge, our President is trapped in his father's time machine. Incredibly, the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s. This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anticolonial ambitions, is now setting the nation's agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son. The son makes it happen, but he candidly admits he is only living out his father's dream. The invisible father provides the inspiration, and the son dutifully gets the job done. America today is governed by a ghost.
