Sunday, Sept. 11, from 4:00 - 5:30   -  Tribute to the Victims & Events of 9/11.   “Never Forget.”   

Please join us at the Pitt County Courthouse, outside at the side entrance/courtyard on 3rd Street, to remember and to pay tribute..  Just as the attacker’s barbarism will stand as their shame for all eternity, our humanity and cohesion will stand as a testament to the love we have of our country and our fellow citizens.  “Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We remember all those who did everything possible to save as many people as possible.  We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, … the funerals. On September 11, everything changed.  The world changed.”  Join us as we honor the heroes and mourn with those who lost.
