The ultimate power over us
Know these 2 bills: SOPA and PIPA for if passed they will change our lives probably more than anything else congress has passed in recent history.
SOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act and PIPA or Protect IP Act are bills that were introduced to congress this fall and would make it easier for the Justice Department, and copyright holders, to shut down websites allegedly dedicated to piracy. This bill would make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted material a crime, punishable with a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
Sounds like a good bill right? Wrong through this bill sites like YouTube and Facebook would be put in the awkward position of having to police their sites or be branded a pirating websites and thus be shut down. And if they are moderated and policed, they are effectively no longer the YouTube and Facebook we've grown to know and love.
In short if this bill were enacted years ago we may not have had the power to form the Tea Party movement, or for that matter any other groups and grassroots organizations... on both side of the fence. This is why the Tea Party, Occupy, ACLU, and other Conservative and Liberal groups are coming out in mass to fight these bills. And because of our collective actions GoDaddy is losing literally hundreds of thousands of customers. So bad in fact the CEO had to make a public announcement that GoDaddy no longer supported these bills, to no effect as people are still leaving in mass.
These bills are poison, and they are bills that cannot be ignored. You must do something to defeat them and we will show you how over the next few days.

I've been browsing on-line more than three hours nowadays, but I by no means discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours. It is beautiful worth sufficient for me.
