Brannon takes a stand in support of the states standing up to the illegal actions of the Federal government, as 37 states have already done--Unfortunately, under Establishment GOP leadership in the N. C. House, North Carolina is one of the more timid states in this trend

We suspect that while it pained them to do so, Politico.com is reporting on the growing trend for states to stand up to the abuse of constitutional separation of powers in the federal government by enacting "nullification" laws. Thirty seven states have done so. 

Unfortunately, North Carolina has been one of the timid ones, due primarily to the Establishment GOP leadership, particularly in the N. C. House. But one candidate for U. S. Senate in North Carolina, Dr. Greg Brannon, strongly favors such actions. That is said to be one reason Brannon is attracting growing support, even beyond the TEA Party people in the state. Brannon, speaking recently in Beaufort County, said "illegal federal laws should not be accepted just because Washington says so. We need to return the federal balance of power back to the Founding Principles and it is the Constitution that sets those boundaries not what Congress does."
