August 30, 2012, 6:00pm: Eastern NC Tea Party Table Talk with special guest, Justice Paul Newby, NC Supreme Court Justice, Queen Street Deli, 115 Queen St. (across from the courthouse), Kinston, NC. Meet and Greet from 6:00-6:30 pm then Justice Newby will begin speaking promptly at 6:30, leaving time for Q and A. If you have ever wondered about the NC educational system, where it has been, and where it is headed, this is the Table Talk for you!  Justice Newby will be speaking on the educational system in NC. He will address homeschooling in our state as part of his discussion. He will expound on past and present rulings as well as the future for the educational offerings given our current national trends. Justice Newby is an excellent orator with a foundation of Constitutional and Biblical wisdom that he brings to the bench as he makes decisions for our state. Please invite friends and family members to this special event. With over 2 million homeschoolers nationwide this is a relevant topic to all citizens. Our future leaders are being molded today. Food is available beginning at 6:00 pm, Deli Sandwich, a side and drink is only $6! Dessert and Coffee is available as well. Please plan on eating at Queen St to support our local businesses and in appreciation for use of the facility. 2012-2013 Business meeting for Eastern NC Homeschoolers will be held from 7:30-8:30 pm.
