Lt. Gov. Dan Forest Town Hall in New Bern

All are welcome to attend a Town Hall with Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest at 6 PM Wednesday, October 23 at the Bridge Pointe Hotel and Marina, 101 Howell Rd New Bern, NC 28562 (Phone 877-283-7713).

Lt. Governor Dan Forest will give a brief overview and then open up the floor to questions and answers. Of interest to Craven County citizens is sure to be the Lt Governor’s position stating ‘Random Homeschool Searches Need to Stop’ (see the October 14^th postings athttps://www.facebook.com/CravenCountyRepublicans ) and  his stand on the ‘Common Core’ curriculum and the NC Department of Public Instruction’s reply (12 boxes, 40,000 pages) to his 67 question inquiry on Common Core (seehttp://www.ltgov.state.nc.us/news/PressReleaseDetail.aspx?newsItemid=1168 for details and video) .
