Moore Tea
Citizens Invites the local community to attend an INFORMATION WORKSHOP ON
COMMON CORE. Our purpose is to inform the public of both supporting
and opposing viewpoints regarding this Federal education program. Common
Core represents a major shift in educational philosophy from the
traditional State/Local control over public education to a Federally
controlled standardized testing and tracking system which will impact and
direct all curriculum, regardless of school. It will require
adherence whether the school is public, private, religious, or even homeschool.
Date: Saturday, January 25, 2014
Time: 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Place: Pinehurst Village Hall
Admission is
free. Everyone is welcome! Light snacks and beverage refreshments
will be available (iced tea, coffee, water, juices).
In order to properly plan seating,
materials, and refreshments, we need to have a good projection of how many plan
to attend. We would appreciate your RSVP no later than January 22 to allow good preparations. Please either email us or use the
